    This feature is absolutely critical for any proton calendar adoption worth talking about. Otherwise, proton will need to reproduce every feature themselves. By allowing CalDAV access, you can use your preferred client with all the features you like.

    This is exactly how Apple Mail does it and it's great. One of the reasons the web UI feels clunky and outdated in comparison.
