Accept Monero payments for Protonmail Plus and Visionary upgrades
Please accept Monero payments for Protonmail Plus and Visionary upgrades. Monero (XMR) is the most secure, private and untraceable currency available today. Many Monero users are longtime supporters of ProtonMail and would like payment privacy when upgrading their email account or making a donations.

Has there been anything new on this? I see Bitcoin is still the only supported currency. Both Monero and Bitcoin Cash currently have tx fees of <1 cent, and would be great additions.
My apologies. I also meant to say. It is an incredible thing, digital currency, and how it has progressed. It would be nice to have the use of it for more services, it only helps the world progress to newer more effective and healthier things
Let me give an explanatory educational rant for a bit here. Let me explain some valuable information.
Set digital currency aside as a means for security. And focus on the anonymity part of it.
Even though your paying upfront...maybe physically with your coins. They have no proof of how you got it, where you got it from. So long as you have done the correct things with your coins.
That all being said. Digital currency is trying to be revolutionized to help make things easier and more effective in our digital and technical world we live in. The issue lies between everything from small family owned mom and pop shops to massively large conglomerates, they need to play a large roll in coming on board with these things.
Digital currency will never progress as a widely used currency for whatever purpose or place, unless the 2nd and/or 3rd parties come on board.
A lot of people have commented here on Monero's transaction fees, but the comments are from January when there was a huge spike across the board. The median transaction fee for the last 100 Monero transactions was 24 cents. That's compared to $3.54 for Bitcoin, which is already accepted, and isn't anonymous. Monero is a no-brainer.
This would be incredible, please add support for Monero, I would kill a rabbit for this and I'm a vegetarian and those things are cute.
Xmr support is a must. Many of us would pay

If protonmail is serious about it's service, they should implement Monero like yesterday. It has been too long already.
Supporting bitcoin and no other coin, specifically currencies which provide anonymity, is going against the sole purpose of what protonmail wants to provide to its users, which is anonymity and security.
It's a no brainer that Monero is a perfect fit as a payment option. There is no other coin more suitable. Brutally honest, it should not take this long to develop, which makes me start to doubt protonmail's intentions.
Monero has the same goals from a payment processor point of view as your excellent privacy by default email service. I would upgrade my account to a plus account with Monero support.

Donero support. I mean monero
Monero for payment on ProtonMail? Yes, please.
Monero support please
There are people here who argue that there are other cryptocurrencies out there which offer just the same amount of privacy as Monero (esp. Dash, Pivx, ... Verge).
As of now, anyone who has done their research knows that there currently is no serious competitor to Monero in terms of privacy. Dash's privacy is optional and somewhat centralized (there is a trusted party), and Verge is pure snake oil.
Yes, Monero's fees aren't the lowest, but they aren't unreasonable either considering the untraceability Monero provides. You can choose the low priority setting in the CLI or GUI and only pay a fee of one to two dollars, and your transaction is probably still going to get included within the next two blocks. Don't let yourself be confused by the outragingly high "withdrawal fees" exchanges ask for. That's all for profit.
Monero is the only sensible payment option.

Monero and protonmail are a match made in heaven
I think it will be perfect to have Monero payment there!
I think this is such a perfect match. Monero is the cryptocurrency with the best privacy.
I wonder how you could pay 10 dollars with monero if you pay 8 dollars of fees just for the withdraw...make no sense...others cryptos are private and far much cheaper to withdraw
Private services require private payment.
Monero support please!
