Rolling window for search message content
Currently search message content can only be enabled on the entire history. It would be very useful to be able to enable it for a rolling-window e.g. "last 90 days"

I would like to use Proton Mail in the web as IMAP client (not server) to transfer my Gmail content. I tried the Apple bridge w/o success.
I would like to use Proton Mail, the web App, as IMAP client (not server) to transfer my Gmail content to Proton. I tried the Apple bridge to download all emails into my local App and then reuploaded into Proton Mail by reassigning the folder, but the transfer took forever and the success was patchy. I can’t use the direct method currently available because I am using my own DNS in both accounts which blocks it as it is described in the documentation. IMAP would be great, I could switch off the forwarding in Gmail and don’t have to start…

mail and calendar in one app
Unite Mail and Calendar in one app on Android as it is the case on outlook app. No need to have two separate apps that take space on your screen. One can easily witch between the two within one app.

Support Rich Text Formatting in the Mobile App
Allow users to paste text into the mobile email composer while preserving its existing formatting instead of always converting it to plain text.
It would also be useful to have basic formatting controls directly in the mobile composer, such as bold, italic, underline, links, and lists.

Allow us to deselect holidays on our country holiday list that we do not want displayed!
Allow me to deselect, or select, depending on default, the holiday's I want to even show up on my calendar. There are plenty of garbage holidays I don't want cluttering up my personal calendar but of course want some to show up that I wish to celebrate or take off work for.

Add a searchable central employee directory for Proton Business
Proton Business should provide a central organization directory containing all users and shared addresses within the organization.
Currently, employees must know a colleague’s exact email address because the composer does not reliably search and suggest users from the business organization. This makes internal communication unnecessarily difficult, particularly for larger teams.
Please allow users to:
* Search colleagues by name, email address, department, role, or team while composing an email.
* Receive autocomplete suggestions from the organization directory.
* Browse a central employee directory in Proton Contacts.
* View shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and group addresses.

Docker Version of Bridge (linux)
Provide an official repository for Proton-Bridge as a Docker Container. Currently its only possible to connect Protonmail via IMAP to other docker services (Ollama-AI, Paperless-ngx) using one of many community made and managed docker images. Since many people are doing it, surely its better to provide a secure and trusted option.

Date-Based Filtering in Proton Mail
I would like to suggest an improvement to the filtering system in Proton Mail.
Currently, filters allow conditions based on sender, subject, keywords, etc., but it would be extremely useful to have the ability to create filters based on the age of an email (relative to the current date).
For example, I would like to create rules such as:
Automatically move all unread emails that are older than 10 days (based on today’s date) to a specific folder or highlight them.
Automatically move emails that are older than 10 days and already read to the Trash or to another designated…

Away message
There doesn’t appear to be a way to set an ‘away message’ in the Mail app. Many of the features available on the lap top (change signature line, etc.) also don’t appear as options in the app.
Need to add the same options in the app as on a lap top/browser. Especially the ability to add/remove away messages.

conversation grouping / threading in search results
Not only is conversation grouping, a major problem already (i.e. it just finds emails by subject, not by actual email header). Tuta manages to do this, even though they encrypt the header. The excuse that we can't read your email is wrong, because the client must decrypt the message so we can read it, so surely the client can thread the emails correctly.
But even worse, if you search for anything, you get pages and pages of un-threaded emails. Every incoming email, and response, in chronological order, so if you find one email that's related to the person/thread you need,…

Improvement idea for label handling via IMAP
Labels are a brilliant idea to organize mails very efficiently.
I use labels and benefit from the possibility to use them via an IMAP client (in my case Thunderbird) as virtual folders.My ask for improvement is:
When I am deleting an email in this virtual folder I expect that only the label got removed from this mail, but in contrast to my expectation the labels-over-IMAP implementation of Proton is deleting this mail than completely.1 vote -
A "Deliveries" smart filter or label that groups shipping and courier tracking emails
I order a lot of parcels online, and my inbox fills up with shipping confirmations, tracking numbers and delivery updates from many different couriers. A built-in "Deliveries" smart filter or label could automatically group these emails and surface the tracking number and expected delivery date in one place. That would save a lot of time compared with searching through the inbox every time a package goes missing. I explained why simple tracking tools matter in this lbc tracking post https://lbctrackingonline.org/ and I think Proton Mail could make following every delivery just as easy.

Custom message for appointment notifications in calender
Would be nice to be able to write your own custom message to appointment notification(s) in calendar.
E.g.,
Notification 1 (90 before appointment) > Custom message = "Get ready".
Notification 2 (30 before appointment) > Custom message "Get in car" or "Get on bike".or
Notification 1 (45 before appointment) > Custom message = "Grab materials" or "Review notes"

"Reply all" should put ALL recipients as "To" adresses
It is driving me nuts that if I am part of a group of recipients of an email, and I hit "Reply all" then only the one who sent the email I am replying ALL to is put as "To" recipient - the rest are added as CC recipients, even if all were "To" recipients on the email I reply to.
Please either change this - I've never seen another client handle "Reply all" in this way - or at the very least make it a setting on my account (not per client) if I want the current behaviour or…6 votes -
move/resize page while editing calendar event
The page doesn't let you move/resize (to look for information, copy/paste outside the screen, etc.) when creating a calendar event. This is necessary, at least for me, as I can't see the whole screen and add an event at the same time... you should be able to minimize and resize the page and keep the added/edited event open to ensure all the required information is added initially.

can't see the calendar events on iphone screen
The calendar on the iphone isn't really useful because you can't see enough of the information in the top calendar view or the bottom week view to be useful. You have to click through every event just to see what's on that week/day because everything is so small/compacted in the week view. There also needs to be more information in the view (like location, travel time, etc.).

User groups should be associated with users, not their email addresses
Currently, group membership is associated with a user's email addresses rather than the user themselves, which doesn't make sense.
If a user has three email addresses, each one must be individually assigned to the desired group. Furthermore, users without an email address cannot belong to any group.
Expected behaviour: Group membership should be associated directly with the user, regardless of how many email addresses they have, if any.

filter class
Regarding ProtonMail’s filter creation feature, it would be helpful if these filters were sorted alphabetically, or if users could sort them that way, and if they could also search for filters by name. This would make it much easier to check whether a filter already exists and to modify an existing one if necessary.

Calendar app icon to display the current {day of week} and {day of month}
Background
The Proton Calendar app on iOS (and presumably Android )currently appears like a blueish/purple square with a small "31" in the bottom right corner. The "31" is static and doesn't change.
The official Apple Calendar app icon has the name of the day (e.g. "SAT") and the day of the month (e.g. "13") on the icon itself, making the app icon useful at a glance without even requiring the user to open the app.
Proposal:
It would be very cool and very useful if the "31" on the Proton Calendar app icon actually changed to represent the current day…
