Integration with Scheduling and Task Manager applications (Reclaim, Motion, Morgen.so)
Scheduling and Task Management applications like Reclaim, Motion and Morgen.so are cool tools to increase productivity and get your tasks automatically assigned in your calender.
An integration with proton calender for such tools would be great. However, due to the encryption standards from proton I assume it could be a bit complicated to let third party apps access data from proton apps.
Even better then would be a own integrated solution in proton calender for this. I know this is not a common and normal calender feature and there might be other, more important, priorities to focus on, but a…

Categories / Colors for visual organization of events (and ez color prioritization)
Allowing for customizable color tags to Calendar events enables users to easily (and privately) prioritize their events by name and color.
This enhances Calendar use & importance recognition of events.

Security new feature: RFC 8461 - SMTP MTA Strict Transport Security (MTA-STS)
RFC 8461 - SMTP MTA Strict Transport Security (MTA-STS) is a mechanism enabling mail service providers (SPs) to declare their ability to receive Transport Layer Security (TLS) secure SMTP connections and to specify whether sending SMTP servers should refuse to deliver to MX hosts that do not offer TLS with a trusted server certificate.
This is obviously to secure messages between mail providers, so users benefit from the additional security on transit. This is backed by: Google, Oath ("yahoo"), Comcast, Microsoft... the big company's in the area... so it should be adopted by them.

Custom Calendar and Email Notification Sounds
We really need to have the ability to customize the sound of the notifications in both Proton Calendar and Proton Mail. There’s currently no options at all in the apps for iOS/iPadOS so we’re left with just a ‘ding’ that very easily gets missed. For these apps to be useful we need to be able to tailor notification sounds (customize the default sounds for each app, set custom sounds for specific contacts, set custom sounds per event and/or calendar, etc.). Thanks!

Ability to Import Calendar With Recurring Events
Ability to Import Calendar With Recurring Events - When importing calendars (from kids' schools, etc) the ICS fails due to Proton not supporting recurring event import. Incredibly inconvenient.

Force sync button
A button to force sync in the Android app, as all my events are not synced on Android, even after waiting for a while. Only app reinstall allows a full sync.

Remember last snooze
Add the previous used snooze date to the drop down.
Ex. If I snooze one email on Friday the 13th september at 09:00, show this again if I want to snooze another email-
Saves clicks.

Check/to-do list, routine feature and urgency/importance level + emojis (on desktop/web)
I think a checklist and sub-task feature to add the ability to mark off calendar items that are finished and repeat common tasks easier would be beneficial. The current set-up makes it difficult to keep records of what was done and can get overwhelming to look at. The user needs to laboriously go back and change titles or descriptions to know what was successfully completed.
The checklist could be similar to height.app where there are just boxes to check each thing or crossing off the task. Checking something off just needs to be easy and simple with as minimal steps…

specific email notifications
Emulate the VIP concept in Apple mail to be able to be notified by messages that fall into that category only. So to have the ability to selectively be notified triggered by specific senders only. Notifications for every email is not helpful.

Setting event time with keyboard
I'm trying to use the keyboard more and the mouse less. When I create a new event that is not an all-day event l always stumble when setting the time. Let's say I want the start time to be 08:00. I start typing "08". The time picker pops up, and the time "08:00" is highlighted. So far so good. But now I expect to be able to select the highlighted time by tapping the enter key, the space key or the tab key. None of them work. I either have to click in the time picker with the mouse or…

ProtonCalendar: Delete Event Without Notifying Organizer
I like deleting old events for privacy (even if the calendar is secure). For events created from email invites, deleting the event currently sends a response to the organizer. Can you please incorporate an option to delete the event without letting the event organizer know?

My "mobile" device is a 10" tablet - need better format options
Just installed Cal on my Android tablet. There is no option for a week view even though tablet works fine for that view. Also should allow landscape view if tablet is rotated. The month at the top takes up too much room. Provide a menu option to show month.
I am moving away from Google, but my old calendar app Calengoo is excellent in terms of view options. It has too many other options but take a look at its views.
Thanks!
Also need search option, recurring events, ability to change reminder time. You may already have some of these.

Persistent sidebar for iPad/tablet in landscape mode
Hi, I'd like to see a settings toggle to allow the sidebar to be permanently visible on my iPad (and other tablets) in landscape mode. For me this would allow quicker navigation around the app and my folders, currently there's an awful lot of tapping and swiping that could be cut down on.

Android App parity with web app - Especially for Email formatting (Bold, Colours, Underline etc)
I use the Android app for emails on both my Android phone and tablet. But I can't even put text in bold or use basic email formatting functionality. I have to log into the web browser to do that.
I also can't view emails or calendar horizontally. And have to log into the apps vertically too.
These are basic UI and functionality issues that need to be resolved before further enhancements.
Email templates would be ideal too.

Docker Version of Bridge (linux)
Provide an official repository for Proton-Bridge as a Docker Container. Currently its only possible to connect Protonmail via IMAP to other docker services (Ollama-AI, Paperless-ngx) using one of many community made and managed docker images. Since many people are doing it, surely its better to provide a secure and trusted option.

Ai filtering for emails
We already have an option for filtering, but I feel its too complex and underused. Having the option to have Ai filter emails based on your preferences (spam, school emails, promotional, and more...) to certain folders would be much better. All the while leaving the current system for people that prefer it. I see this as an absolute MUST HAVE for the future. Also this can be very key for quick summaries of each email on the notification. That way we have the jist of what we are going to open and read.
You could run the Ai on Graphics…

Local Scribe support in Firefox
Considering Proton's push for privacy, Scribe should support Firefox, not just Chromium. Only supporting Google-driven browsers seems somewhat counter to Proton's goal.
