Attach files to calendar event
Attaching files from proton drive to the calendar event.
Robust options in calendar event that integrate any calendar event with proton ecosystem services.
The calendar should work as a calendar based planner with options to:
- Create tasks, assign tasks
- Group tasks to projects
- Attach files to tasks, events, projects

I really need the function. It would be great to open the calendar and have for example important documents already in the appointment (maybe linked to the drive document)

yes, for documents to review for a meeting, a map with directions or instructions!

Would suggest having any file attachment and not just from proton drive. and preferably with offline caching

Be able to attach a document not necessarily from Proton Drive to a calendar entry. E.g., attach a pdf of travel details to a calendar entry where travel is involved.

This definitely needs more support. This is the only thing keeping me from using Proton Calendar (or Proton Drive for lots of things).

The feature is available in GoogleCalendar and its excellent.
For example when I go on holiday I save all my docs (tickets etc) in GoogleDrive. Then I make an event in GoogleCalendar and attach all my relevant docs from the Drive.
When I need anything I just open up the Calendar event and click on the document and it opens up! So useful.

Currently in Beta calendar does not receive and attachments that may have been included when a meeting invite was accepted. This causes one to first keep all the meeting invites, but also go back from the calendar to the email to get the documents for a scheduled activity. It would be far better for attachments to follow the invite into the calendar.

We’re running Proton Calendar parallel to our current iCloud based scheduling solution. A native IOS application would be awesome, notifications are important and attachments within the event are key for our application. Keep up the great work!

When sending an invite from the calendar it's often useful to be able to add attachments (eg an agenda, tickets, venue info etc).
Currently this isn't possible

I use ProtonCalendar to remind me to pays some annual invoices (insurance, registration, etc). Adding the ability to attach files to calendar entries will make it easy to find invoices that need to be paid.

Enable creation of proton calendar event from a picture or website and allow adding / uploading a picture or attachment to a calendar event.
