Show full folder path in “Move message to…” search results
Problem:
When I move an email and type into Move message to…, results only show the leaf folder name. I have parallel structures for different children, e.g.Children/KidOne/SchoolOne
Children/KidTwo/SchoolOne
Both show up as “SchoolOne”, so I can’t tell which is which.Request:
Display the full folder path (or at least parent folders) in the move dialog’s search results—for example:Children / KidOne / SchoolOne
Children / KidTwo / SchoolOne
Nice-to-haves:
Show the full path as a secondary line or breadcrumb.
Tooltip with the complete path on hover.
Keyboard navigation should read the full path for accessibility.
Option to toggle “Show…

Customize Proton web mail client toolbar
Currently in the toolbar you can; mark unread, trash, move, label, and filter.
With an additional click you can; archive, move to spam, print, etc.
It would be nice to be able to customize that toolbar and maybe even add more icons, there is plenty of blank space in the bar to add several more icons.

All Settings
Please allow clicking on the upper right hand “cog icon” to send you to the full “All Settings” page. A recent update made it so that it is a two step process to land on this page.
Currently, when you click on the cog icon in the upper right corner, the blue “All Settings” button appears. I perceived it not as a link, but as a title (or subject heading). I had to contact customer support to find my way to the complete All Settings page. It wasn't intuitive for me. A one step process would be simpler and more…

Proton Calendar: add Repeat Event and All Day fields to default calendar settings
When we create a new calendar, the Repeat Event field in it is set to Does not Repeat by default and there's not way to change this default while editing the calendar.
It is very inconvenient in some cases, for example for birthdays. For every birthday we enter into the Birthdays calendar, we have to change the Repeat Event field value to Every year manually, and if we forget to do it, the calendar won't remind us of the birthday the next year.
It would be great if while creating a calendar or editing it we could set its default…

SimpleLogin Alias Export CSV Should Include Display Names
The "Display Name" field for aliases should be backed up into the CSV file that gets produced when going to Alias import/export -> Export Aliases under Settings.
At present, notes entered under "Alias Description" are included, but Display Names are absent.
The Display Name field allows for custom per-alias user entered names that should certainly be preserved in backups, and restored in the event that the CSV file gets used "for a future batch import" -- which is one of its explicitly stated purposes.
At present, my manual workaround is to ensure that custom Display Names are also copied and…

most recent label
I would like the most recently used labels to populate the label list when I go to select a label as it is nice a quick for multiple received e-mails on the same topic. One click and its right there.

Highlight unread count on folders as well
The Unread cont is such a small number on folders, it's easy to overlook. It should be clear to see in order to notice new emails that are sorted into a folder by an automatic filter. If folders could have colors and the highlight would use that color, that would be even better.
I've made a Greasmonkeyscript on Greasey Fork called "Highlight folder unread count" to showcase this.

Nicknames
Please add a nicknames field for protonmail contacts. It would be helpful if this worked with the iOS dictation feature for voice input for to, cc and bcc fields.

Use the user portion of a random-generated alias for mail origin authenticatin
When users sign up for services (e.g. Facebook) they might use a random generated email alias like facebook.com.spar731@passinbox.com, note that the domain of the website who this alias was intended for (facebook.com), is in the user portion of the alias and can be used as a form of data origin authentication like so:
Whenever a user receives an email, the proton mail client checks whether the domain of the sender is present in either the user portion of the beneficiary of that mail (FACEBOOK.COM.spar731@passinbox.com) OR that the domain of the sender is in some sort of whitelist…

expand day+week view
When in week view, we should be able to view all the items (that have no time) we have. Now we see only 3 or 4 no matter how big the screen is. On the left where we see "GMT+1' there should be a drop down arrow to expand the top part of the screen and see all items on all 7 days. Now the focus is too much on the hours view of the days.
Now I have to click all the days where I see: '3 items more' and cant have oversight.

Birthday Entry is Very Difficult
Presently, entering a birthday requires that I use the calendar pop-up to choose the birthday and it must require a year. My friends ar 70 years old. Scrolling the calendar back on moth at a time for something like 840 months is torture. Can you make it I can just type in the birthdate so I can get on with my life?

Allow sending calendar invitations to your own Proton addresses/aliases
Proton Calendar prevents users from inviting their own Proton addresses or aliases to events, even when those addresses belong to different calendars.
If I try to invite one of my own Proton aliases (e.g., personal@example.com) to an event created in a different calendar that I also own (e.g., a shared team calendar), Proton blocks the invitation. Inviting my own addresses should be allowed when the invited address is not the owner of the originating calendar.
Why this matters?
Users with multiple Proton calendars cannot keep their schedules in sync, reducing the convenience of shared calendars.
For example, I have:…

Delete all past events button
When I use calendar, I delete past events. This is a nightmare. You have to open, click delete button and confirm. 3 steps for each event.
Can you offer delteing by keyboard "delete" button without confirmation window to speed up deleting or offer bulk delete or even better would be button to "Delete all past events"?8 votes -
Show Display Name in the "From" field when drafting an e-mail
When sending an e-mail, the "From" field only shows the sender e-mail address, but not the display name. It is surprising to me that the receiver sees my display name (which is hidden in a separate settings menu) when there is no indication it is included in the mail when sending it. The UI of "New message" should show the sender display name as well.

Show matching filters when viewing an email
When viewing an email that has had a sieve/filter applied it would be helpful to show & link to that filter. This would make it considerably easier to update a filter that is not behaving as expected.

ability to run a filter on one message
Especially for testing - running a sieve script on 5000 messages in the inbox is PAINFULLY SLOW. If it wasn't this would be less of an issue, but my scripts aren't working, and I'm trying to figure out why, and it's taking like 15-30 minutes to run the sieve script. If I could run it on one message, I could instantly (more or less) see if it's moved to another folder.
