Option to disable spam filter
Spam filtering options need to include the ability to whitelist entire domains, such as @example.com. Additionally a disable spam filter option would be excellent. A work around for adding a dedicated button might be a double wildcard whitelist: *@. Thank you.

Choose in "SETTINGS" to enable the SPAM folder or disable the folder. I don't want anything to go anywhere else than the INBOX.

Wow I never thought that I would leave ProtonMail just because of their spam filters, I wish they give the option to disable this all-together for the people still using ProtonMail, but as for me I could not handle having so many important mails.

Any update on whitelisting? This is a major downside to your service

I want to disable the spam filter completely. It never gets any real spam, only puts legitimate emails in there.

Fully agreed. I was hoping not to see this 'big brother knows better what you need' attitude here.

Fully agreed. People who use address hygiene don't need spam filters, let alone mandatory ones. For them they are only of harm. This is very disappointig that we are not allowed free managing of our mails.

I am constantly missing legitimate emails because they go into the spam folder. I receive very little actual spam, so would be good to just disable the spam protection as I'd rather not miss an email!
Thanks

Switching from Gmail and could really use this to ensure business-critical emails are not junked.

I would very much appreciate if there was the simple option to manually deactivate the spam filter entirely. Since I do not get spam at all so far, I only get false positives which is very annoying since I miss important mails.

I received the following from support. Put it into a sieve filter (make sure to erase the prefilled one it gives you):
require ["include", "environment", "variables", "relational", "comparator-i;ascii-numeric", "spamtest", "extlists", "fileinto"];
if header :list "to" ":addrbook:myself"
{
fileinto "Inbox";

Too many things are ending up in the spam folder. It needs to be easier to indicate that stye are not spam.

Planning to stop paying for Plus subscription starting Aug 2020 onwards if this feature is not implemented. It will be a pain but better services out there.

Yes!! I agree. I need to be able to whitelist a whole domain. I keep getting important client emails to my spam folder because it's a new person at a company I've worked with before. It looks so unprofessional to have to keep saying "sorry I didn't see this until a week late... it went to my spam folder". I try to remember to check it regularly but that's such a pain.

Also would like to be able to blacklist entire domains. Sometimes, spammers register a new domain, then send spam with email addresses using that domain where the first part of the email addresses change to get around blacklists that only support entire email addresses.

The spam filter is absolutely worthless. I had multiple important documents, including financial stuff, go in there just in the few days I had this service.

+3 for white-list entire domain. I communicate with someone who has a system that automatically creates a new email alias for each conversation. That is causing important emails from him to go into my spam folder. Currently no way to just add his domain to the whitelist which would solve the problem. As a work-around I added a custom filter that will star the email and move to my inbox.
