2. Set apparience on Android as well as on IOS

   I've just seeing the IOS app screenshot from https://protonapps.com/protonvpn-android

   The buttons are located at button and the android version located at top. Is any way to change this and the two version looks the same?

3. Monochromatic Sytstem Tray Icon - (Windows)

   I've been using Mullvad VPN and love the option to use a Monochromatic System Tray Icon. It makes the VPN appear as a native feature built into the OS instead of a clunky third-party application. With a Monochromatic System Tray Icon, users would psychologically think of Proton VPN as a natural part of their workflow.

4. Quick Toggle for Split Tunneling

   Introduce a dedicated button on the main interface of the application on PC, allowing users to quickly toggle the Split Tunneling feature on or off. This enhancement aims to provide convenience and efficiency for those who frequently have to switch this option, eliminating the need to navigate to settings so often. 5. Changing your username once your account is made.

   When you create an account with Proton, you'll register using your email address. This email then serves as your username. Personally, I prefer not to feel like I'm logging into my email each time I access Proton. I typically set my username as "drlaggybro," and I find it convenient to use the same username across various platforms and services.

6. Password Protect Proton VPN to lock settings & block ability to exit or disconnect

   Proton VPN could really use ability to lock the settings & block ability to exit or disconnect.

   It needs this to prevent kids from making changes or other users from making changes, exiting, or disconnecting.
   Somewhat similar to what is used with Proton Pass Security but need to also prevent the ability to exit or disconnect, or to switch servers.

7. Choose DNS through the ATV App

   I'd love to switch from NordVPN to Proton but at the moment I have no possibility to set a custom DNS within the Proton Android TV app. The only way is to use OpenVPN which is really uncomfortable. Please, add the possibility to use custom DNS on android and you'll earn another user. Thanks

9. Automatically Revert to preferred profile/fastest server after maintenance

   Scenario: A user is connected to a preferred/fastest server and eventually it goes into maintenance and moves the user to the next fastest connection. However, when the preferred/fastest server goes back up, the user has to be mindful that he/she has to manually revert back to the preferred/fastest server. 10. Remove uncaught spying vector for slimy Google

    First, how many starting users know all the settings and that they might be "effectively" thinking they're private on the VPN, while really not necessarily being protected fully from Google spying.

    This is not a knock on Proton's excellent tunnel privacy, but a sort of front and back door that may be open, like it turned out to be on my iphone ProtonVPN install.

    The biggest spyware operation that's ever existed called "Google," has a DNS operation to spy further on users activities which can happen prior to entering the VPN tunnel... IF ... you have "Allow Alternative Routing" to be turned on (which is the "tyrannical" default setting).

    With browser fingerprinting and Google spy scripts on I'd estimate 97% of all websites in the world, it can easily know you are
    a) diving into the finite number of Proton servers and
    b) know it's you by virtue of the million points of data in a file they have on you and use it and fingerprinting to know it's you on the other end.

    Privacy's number one enemy is the scumbag Google, manipulating world elections with its data and allowing for potential blackmail of anyone who opposes it, whether by its own doing or a government that has access to its servers (with/without consent).

    Solution:
    A) Turn off Alternative Routing by default;
    B) Make it a tranparent choice as to which service(s) can be picked for alternative DNS;
    C) disqualify Google from being one of those services!

    Google has so many conned into thinking it's a friend with its manipulating algorithms, easy/lazy tools for webmasters, and cheap phones, chromebooks, tablets to "own" the user like a good spyware rootkit, but one that also puts users to sleep.

    And lastly, Alphabet is already being said that for its A.I. it now wants every literal bit that flows on the entire internet to be in its servers. Sick.

11. Obfuscated servers

    Create obfuscated servers and make them available for all platforms (windows to router configuration). This to enhance more privacy, as well bypass censorship to connect to/from VPNs and other restrictions. With this, VPN traffic would look like any old regular internet traffic to ISPs, government, private companies or streaming services, hence, can’t see that connection is from a VPN service. Pros of this, navigate the internet normal and have most of the regular services available on webpages to streaming libraries.

    Despite the overall exceptional user experience, I find myself in need of a feature that currently seems to be absent in the mobile version of ProtonVPN. I am particularly interested in an "App Exclusion" or "Split Tunneling" feature that allows users to exclude certain mobile apps from routing their data through the VPN.

    The need for this feature arises from the fact that certain apps, such as my banking applications and some location-dependent services, do not function optimally when connected via VPN.
