Currently the only cloud storage provider I can find who has FOSS client apps for all [major] operating systems (Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, OS X) is Mega.

Would also love for Cryptomator to work well with it, because who doesn't love copious amounts of encryption?

I have dumped One Drive and committed to Proton, it would be nice if Proton could commit to myself and other Linux users in return

I cancelled my subscription. If Linux isn't even on the roadmap, this isn't the home for me.

Utterly crazy (and very disappointing) that Proton Drive is missing a Linux client when Tresorit has had a great Linux client for years. Even more disappointing that Linux wasn't even mentioned on the new roadmap.

This is a critical issue for me, especially as I plan to migrate to Ubuntu from Windows 10 when support ends.

Don't leave linux users out in the cold!

I thought I could finally cancel my Dropbox but not being able to do this in Ubuntu is making me rethink transferring. Anybody who considers digital privacy as important will move to Linux at some point, if they haven't already.

And/or explicitly publish a Proton Drive API repo. This would allow third party developers to support Proton Drive. The rclone linux application is a great exemple, as they state that their Proton Drive support is limited due to this missing API. If Drive's app is open source, this API should be publicly maintained as well.

I really hope you will release the Linux client soon. You are privacy focused company, it doesn't look good if you don't support privacy focused and open source operating systems.

Official rclone support or a proper Linux application (preferably with a scriptable CLI) would make this so much more useful and would allow me to upgrade to a paid plan.

I'm on an old Mac that is going to be phases out of security updates in a year. Transitioning to linux after this. Last month I got proton for email and drive. If there's no drive app on linux by then I guess I'll cancel.

I now have to run a dedicated Windows file server just to be able to access Proton Drive (via network sharing) from my main PC (which is Linux Mint). That actually works, but it is getting ridiculous. Come on, people. :)

Please make this happen! Now Proton is even blocking accounts using rclone, why? That's really bad user experience.

This is the only thing refraining me from switching to Proton definitively. I'm still paying another non-European provider

We are a lot of linux systems administrators in my circle, who all use protonmail since its superior in terms of privacy and security.

The only reason each and every single one of us do not have full payed accounts is the blatant lack of linux syncing support.

It would be a match made in heaven should you implement this feature.

Please consider implementing this.
