Please add sync integration for Linux. With Windows, you're able to sync the hard drive with Proton Drive. Can't do that for Linux.
This lack of support increases my frustration, the workload, and my complications to iron out. I might need to create my own server just because of this. That's a lot of work.

Proton is a great service, and I've also noticed that it can tend to put more focus on making new products rather than fully fleshing out and maturing what it already has created. This is not a good idea, because your existing user base might get fed up. Aside from that, good work everyone.

This has to be a priority given the shenanigans with Microsoft -- Proton would benefit greatly by have a native and complete Linux suite of their products.

We have been requesting and waiting for Proton Drive for Linux for years, yet you keep chasing tech bro BS like crypto wallets and AI. Can you please work on some core functionality already? Who actually wants Lumo anyway? These AI chatbots are not actually useful or helpful. Stop jumping on the hype train and do some actual work that your users actually want.

I would love to push for a Linux client. you already have it on macOS. the same for VPN. It would be great to have a consistent suite. Escpecially at this time when more and more users want to get independet of Us

Linux should get more focus on that topic, especially as other users mention that privacy-aware users are more likely to be there anyway

And, when they finally get there, it needs to work better than the one(s) that we alrady have. I've mentioned this several times in responses to the "Linux Client" issue. I used the MacOS client. It's somewhat temperamental. I got so tired of waiting on the linux client that I sought other solutions. I tried a number of them. Some were garbage. The only one I found that "just works" is Filen (Filen.io). My description would be that it works like the exiting Proton clients should work. The upload/download speeds are amazing compared to the Proton client. For 200 GB, it's about $2.34 per month USD. It's based in Germany so it's covered by GDPR (good enough).

i really wanna ditch my dropbox and I am working on migrating to Linux very soon so if this could be delivered within 6-12 months i'll be a happy camper =)

Nothing fancy needed. just so i can sync my directories on the home directory and sharable files would be enough for me.

I'm a heartbeat away from leaving MS bc of privacy... which is why i starting moving everything to proton. So I'm sorta shocked and definitely bummed to see linux integration seems to have stalled.

Rclone allowed me to pretty easily mount onedrive to linux. I don't even care about a gui but something cli for linux would be great. Maybe if you were able to provide an api for rclone to develop something it could be fantastic. from what i understand there's been no rclone dev for the past year bc it seems they have no dependable api to work with.

i'm hoping this can be worked out in weeks rather than months bc as of right now i'm all of a sudden wonding if proton drive is feasible. and i'm already paid for 2 years.

Agreed, Proton is forcing users to remain with Google for Drive or Dropbox. That is not adequate for paying customers who want to leave those surveillance and advertising giants completely.
