Selective photo backup
Currently all photos are automatically backed up when using the feature. I would like the option to select which photos I think should be backed up when I've made some photos during the day.

Fix the import of conditional formatting from Excel files
When I imported an Excel sheet to Proton, some of the existing formatting rules had ranges that exceed the 1000-row limit on Proton. This made all of them break, and I had to edit them one by one in order to fix them. Additionally, I am unable to delete the broken formatting rules unless I fix them.
Please increase the row-count limit AND when importing formatting that is not compliant with your limits, automatically adjust it and display a warning that you need to do that.

Disable autoformat
I see that Proton Docs' autoformat feature could very well be useful for most people. However, for me, it is being actively detrimental to my usage of Proton Docs (e.g. the multiplication symbol * formatting to italics). I would like it if there was a way to turn autoformat off in Proton.

Add Atkinson Hyperlegible fonts to Proton Drive apps for better accessibility
While the font selections are currently lacking, the need for accessible fonts such as the Atkinson Hyperlegible collection or fonts designed for dyslexics is critical. Those with accessibility needs are particularly vulnerable in the current political climate in North America, and accessibility to privacy tools is thus critical.

Proton Drive’s zero-access encryption and privacy architecture are outstanding, but the overall user experience around file creation and management needs refinement to match modern cloud workflow standards:
Streamlined File Creation & Standalone Access: Currently, creating or opening a Proton Doc forces the user through the full Proton Docs interface and document listing inside Drive rather than opening a focused, standalone document view directly. Be more specific about the files/folders that are syncing
Currently, on the Proton Drive app for Windows (and maybe for macOS too, I don't know how is it on that side), when using the file sync feature all the app tells you is "synchronizing". it's very vague, and there's not even an option to pause the sync. having it, plus maybe seeing which file is being uploaded and at what speed (just like Drive's web app), would improve the experience by a lot.

cli - support r/w access to data via shareable links
fully support share links as an additional / alternative option to full account login for r/w access to files/folders.
Instead of requiring a full proton account login it should be possible to use as share link (password protected or otherwise) to access nodes via the cli.
This would greatly simplify using the CLI or SDK in headless setups and other tools like rclone and also vastly reduce the threat model in case of compromised keyring, fault in credential handling in the CLI etc.

Printing and Downloading Docs
Printing and Downloading Docs from Android is a nightmare and still can figure out how to do it. This is a non starter for doc creation on storeage.

Individual Finder Icon
Currently the PD icon in the Finder Favorites looks the same as every other folder. Please make the icon stand out (like Dropbox, iCloud Drive, OneDrive).

Proton Drive - merge/sync the Photos and Drive content
Right now, files uploaded through the Photos interface don't automatically appear in a dedicated folder within my main Drive structure. Similarly, photos I store manually in specific Drive directories aren't fully recognized by the Photos tab. This forces users to choose between two parallel workflows instead of having one unified experience.

Exclude folders from indexing
Be able to exclude selected folders from indexing, just a custom flag to false to those folders selected by the user to be excluded from be indexed by the search engine.

Auto‑create albums in Proton Drive Android backup
When the Android Gallery backs up photos to Proton Drive, the app currently uploads all images into a flat folder structure. It would be very helpful to have an option that automatically creates albums in Proton Drive that mirror the albums (folders) already defined in the device’s Gallery.
• Detect each existing Gallery album at backup time.
• Create a matching album (folder) in Proton Drive.
• Place the corresponding photos inside that album, preserving the original organization.This would make it easier for users to locate and share grouped photos without having to manually recreate the album hierarchy after the backup.

Dynamic Data Reference in Proton Sheets
Someone commented on the named range post - the data references need to be dynamic.
I use named ranges and cell references as I am building out sheets from scratch and later rearrange the layout to make it easier for others to use. However, every time I insert a row or column or move the data, the named ranges and/or cell references don't shift with the data.
Please fix this as the data loses its integrity the more the sheet evolves.

Web Client: Upload files alphabetically and by folder
If you try to upload lots of files and folders in one go using the manual upload feature (My FIles), you might find that your uploads stop or need to be stopped, for any of a million possible reasons.
If a upload of numerous files needs to be "continued", for any reason, it would be helpful if the files were uploaded "in order" so there is a sane way to identify where to pick up from.

Slow load time, Checkboxes, iPad functionality
Several changes to Docs.
- Too slow to load
- Checkboxes should be checkable when in view mode
- One tap to position cursor on iPad, currently requires 2 and often loses focus
- Unable to tap on buttons on iPad in Voice of the Community

Add a 100 GB Proton Drive plan
Proton Drive Plus currently starts at 200 GB, but I think a 100 GB option would be a useful middle ground for users who need more than the free plan but don't need 200 GB.
A lower-priced 100 GB tier would make upgrading more accessible and give users more flexibility in choosing a plan that fits their storage needs.

Prevent corruption when cutting and pasting proton sheets and docs using windows explorer
If you cut and paste a proton sheet or proton doc using windows explorer, there is a significant risk the file will be corrupted and not open, and that you will lose the version history. Current guidance is to ONLY use the 'Move to folder' button on the web interface. We need to correct this so that Windows Explorer can be used to move proton sheets and proton docs using the cut and paste functions.
