  1. Easy switch for iPhotos

    I'd love to see an easy switch option from Mac's iPhotos to Proton Drive, rather than transferring 100 photos at a time (cumbersome with 1000s of photos!). I'm also noticing that the dates of my photos that I transfer to Proton Drive are inaccurate--would love to improve that.

  2. Ability to rename PDF files while in preview mode like Google Drive

    I would love to see the functionality of renaming PDF files directly while in preview mode, similar to what is available in Google Drive. This is the only feature keeping me from fully migrating all my files to Proton Drive.

    Personally, this helps me immensely with naming invoices. I open them in preview, check the date and the cost, and then assign the corresponding name. This would streamline file management and improve productivity for many users like me.

  3. Add a timeline for photos in proton drive

    At the moment it is super difficult to access old photos in proton drive. Sometimes you have to scroll down for several minutes. A timeline at the side where you can quickly scroll to a rough date (like in google photos) would help immensely.

  4. Download and upload P2P torrent directly in Proton Drive ?

    Pour des raisons d'efficacité de partage des fichiers et de vitesse de téléchargement, j'aimerais télécharger les torrent dans le drive et les laisser disponibles depuis le drive sans passer par le stockage de mon ordinateur.

  6. Proton Drive Docs: collapsible headings (like Google Docs)

    Collapsible/expandable headings like Google Docs has: by clicking on a small "arrow down" icon next to a heading, all content under that heading collapses (disappears) and reappears by clicking again on the arrow (which now has become an "arrow right"). Of course, when the content disappears, the remaining (still visible) doc content below that heading section moves up (to occupy the space of the disappeared content).
    This allows to hide sections (e.g. on top) that might not be relevant (to the user) but can still occupy a lot of space and force the user to scroll down (where he/she might…

  7. Fixed-Size Progress Window in Proton Drive

    In Proton Drive when uploading a folder, the progress window jumps up and down wildly as it shows more or fewer active or completed files being transferred. Can you make the window stay one size, so it doesn't look so chaotic?

    Better yet, can Proton Drive just show a progress bar next to the folder, instead of a detailed window. Maybe the window with file-by-file info can be hidden in an info button next to the progress bar.

  8. Proton Docs - Copy/Paste text formatting

    It would be nice to be able to copy/paste formatting in Proton Docs, ex: copying the color/style/etc. of text and pasting it to other sections. In most editors this is 'ctrl + alt + c' and 'ctrl + alt + v'. It's a feature I use heavily, especially when color-coding things, and would do wonders for moving my current workflow into Proton docs.

  9. Delay for photo backup

    Currently Proton Drive uploads photos/videos as soon as they are taken.

    But sometimes you want those deleted immediately. And by the time you delete them from the local gallery, Proton Drive has already started uploading them, meaning you now have to wait until it's uploaded so you can also delete them from Proton Drive.

    A delay of maybe 5 minutes before starting the upload would be incredibly helpful in this situation.

  10. Proton Mail Secure Backup to Proton Drive

    I wanted to suggest a feature that could enhance email management for those of us who value both security and flexibility in organizing important emails.

    While I know there is a folder option within ProtonMail, I believe an option to back up specific emails directly to Proton Drive would provide an extra layer of peace of mind. Having a backup on Proton Drive, a separate service within the same trusted company, would allow users to store crucial emails safely and retrieve them as needed without worry. This feature could be especially valuable to users who sometimes clear or delete everything…

  14. Option to have PC and photos folders be a tag instead of a separate directory.

    I upload photos and files from different locations/devices, and it's frustrating that when going through them, I have to check multiple locations. It would be better if proton had its own metadata that it used so that I could sort by uploader or file type, rather than having to check the photos location, files, location, PC location, and my laptop location anytime I want to find things. At the very least there should be a view all option, so that any functionality of discrete locations is not lost and files/photos could be sorted through as though they are in one…

    Again, as with Proton Calendar and Proton Drive, the more similar the Google environment is, the better the theme will be. In addition, we will gain in privacy, which is what we all want, and that is why we are committed to this project, even if it sometimes entails a sacrifice, in terms of time and fluidity of the applications. We must assume that normally many people work in a Google environment for a long time, and we want the environment to be similar or better than what we use.   16. A Folder's date should be the same as the NEWEST object it contains

    Whenever a file is uploaded to a folder (or a sub-folder created), the dates of all the folders up-stream ought to be updated, so that it's easy to find things if we're going by date.

    Let's suppose that I have the following folder structure:

    If one has say 20,000 files, in my case Master Files & Samples for my music which total 400gb. to take back onto a hard drive I would have to manually select the exact amount of files (only a GB or 2 at a time) as to not pass the zip limit which leads to the download failing.

    Plus the folder data sizes are not visible from outside the folder so one needs to go…
