  2. Proton Docs Improvements

    The ability to have a non-pageless design, a ruler, line spacing so it can be used for academic papers (think double space, 1.15, 1.5, etc...), ability to open PDFs in Proton Docs, word count, and the paint format feature. Also, please add the ability for the mobile versions of Proton Drive to edit Proton Docs in the app or a separate Proton Doc app. I love Proton Docs though it's amazing and the UI is beautiful.

    Albums, photo tagging, search by location for Proton Drive Photos.

    Pretty much like Google Photos, but encrypted. Probably without the automatic classification since that would require you to see my photos :D

    Just like Google Docs supports offline mode, please make it possible for me to edit Documents in Proton Drive even when I'm offline or when I have very limited Internet connection.

  6. Proton Docs download to .odt feature

    Besides .docx, many of us who use Linux and free/open-source software like LibreOffice Writer sometimes use .odt instead. It would be wonderful to have a direct export/download to .odt within Proton Docs

    I miss the capability to connect my ProtonDrive with my Synology NAS by CloudSync or Hyper Backup. This would be one of the last disadvantages compared to conventional cloud providers

  10. Sync Photos folder with desktop app

    With the Android app we can now backup our photos to the Photos category/folder in Proton Drive and we can view these in the web app.

    Please add the option to sync these photos to a computer folder with the
    desktop app as well.

  11. Share Proton Docs link for collaboration without requiring Proton account

    The new Proton Docs Feature just came out.
    I wanted to use it, but i can't share the document so, that friends can collaborate. They don't all have a proton account.
    That's why the sharing feature with the E-Mails doesn’t help a lot.
    Normally you can just create a link to each document, so that others can edit it.
    But at the moment this isn’t possible.
    It’s a quite standard feature I personally would expect from a drive with documents.

    Unfortunately, after years of using the Unlimited account and various services to the best of my ability, I will be forced to cancel my subscription to Proton due to the lack of a drive client for Debian. I believe it is unthinkable to have such a great and cool ecosystem but not have a drive available for Linux.

  13. Proton Docs standard file format need to change

    Basically, the proton docs created on the Proton Drive Web are attached to .protondoc format. This format is exclusive and does not open with Word, Libreoffice or anyhthing else.

    I think it's urgent that we can change the standard format in a menu or even if we choose the format every time we create a new Proton Docs file.

    The protondoc file format is a problem cause if the user wants to migrate a lot of files and/or folders, he will have a huge problem with those document files that only works in Proton ecosystem, I think it doesn't aligns…

  14. To switch from Google Photos, Proton drive is not the deal. We need Proton Photos

    There is already a request like this. But - from the answer it received by administators, I have the feeling they don't have got the point. This is what I think and what I need ;)
    Google Photos offers specific tools to manage and share photos effectivelly. Unfortunatelly Proton Drive app is not up to this task (as it is not OneDrive, for instance).   15. Increasing file streaming from 100MB to 2GB

    Proton Drive has a streaming feature, but you can only stream files that are up to 100MB. They should increase it to at least 2GB if not more.

  17. Add Shared Folders to Proton Drive Sync

    My wife and I fully utilize the Proton sharing features across the platform. We share files in Proton Drive, but the biggest gap for us is not being able to sync shared folders/files (using Proton Drive Sync for MacOS). The only way we can access the files that have been shared is through the Proton Drive web application.

  19. Proton Drive Android App — sync with a local folder

    I would really like the ability to not only have the offline-available files be accessable from within the Android app, but to also be able to specify a local folder on my device where those files would be located, so I could access them from any other app. Any remote changes are synced to the local files, any local changes are synced to the remote files.
