Compléter un dossier volumineux avec les éléments manquants uniquement, même après l’interruption d’une importation
Cette demande concerne principalement l’interface web de Proton Drive, accessible directement depuis Proton Drive ou par l’intermédiaire de Proton Mail.
Lorsqu’un dossier volumineux comportant de nombreux niveaux de sous-dossiers et de fichiers est déjà présent dans Proton Drive, il devrait être possible de le compléter ultérieurement en sélectionnant simplement de nouveau le dossier d’origine. Proton Drive devrait alors comparer les deux arborescences et importer uniquement les dossiers et fichiers manquants, sans remplacer ni importer de nouveau ceux qui sont déjà présents.
Cette fonctionnalité est également indispensable lorsqu’une importation est interrompue à la suite d’un plantage de l’ordinateur ou du navigateur,…

Shorter urls for documents in drive
I would like to have the links to some spreadsheets and docs in Proton Drive to paste to other documents, but the links copied from browser address bar are too long.
Should the URLs in address bar be redesigned to be shorter to copy and paste in documents while they still look ok instead of the length of a paragraph?
The choice to share for url isn't an option 'cause the docs are supposed to be private.

Display contributor names directly in the shared folder file list
While there are ways to check who added or modified a file in Proton Drive, this information is not directly visible in the web interface’s file list.
Please add “Added by” and “Last modified by” columns to shared folders, so we can see contributor names at a glance without opening additional menus or checking each file individually.
Having this information visible alongside files, similar to Google Drive, would make it much easier to follow changes and collaborate with friends or colleagues.

Support for GIMP (.xcf) files in Proton Drive Photos preview.
Please add preview support for GIMP's native .xcf format within Proton Drive Photos.
Many privacy-conscious creators use Proton alongside open-source creative tools like "GNU Image Manipulation Program" (GIMP) instead of Adobe Photoshop.
Currently, Proton Drive Photos does not recognize .xcf files as generic binary files. If Proton Drive Photos could recognize and generate thumbnails for .xcf files, it would be much easier for open-source photographers and digital artists to manage their active, layered project files securely.

Sidebar foto album page in browser
Please add a sidebar to the photo album so that I can easily scroll through the photos. The months and years are already displayed, but they do not make scrolling easy. Currently, I first have to select a checkbox before I can scroll up or down using the Page Up and Page Down keys.

Customize currency and date formatting
Unlink the currency and date formatting from the region you have selected. I need to work across currencies and have personal preferences on date formatting. Now every time I open a sheet the dates and currencies are wrong which makes it impossible to do financial moddelling in proton sheets

I want to type my Font Size
When using Proton Docs, I want to be able to type my own font. In my style sheets from Word or Google Docs I always use size 24 I want to able to do that and to type any font size I need; maybe 1-300 is good :)

Restore Proton Drive data from a previously synced device
When I set up Proton Drive on a new computer, I would like an option to automatically restore all files and folders that were previously synced from my old computer.
Ideally, Proton Drive should allow users to choose between restoring data from a previously synced device available in their Proton Drive account or setting up the computer as a new device.
This would make it much easier to migrate to a new PC without having to manually configure everything again.

Proton Docs editor on Android
Don't know if this is the forum for this type of issues, but the Proton Docs editor in Proton Drive for Android is more or less useless. Simple things like backspace when on the beginning of a new row, when the cursor is supposed to move to the end of the previous row, doesn't work. I always have to use the web browser version when trying to edit a document on Android.
I love everything about Proton, keep up the good work! But the docs editor on Android... decide either just remove it och make it work.

Selective Legacy
With legacy contacts enabled, let users choose per contact which files and folders they inherit, and which are excluded.
Per-item setting: mark specific files or folders to disappear at death, while remaining fully accessible while alive.
Excluded items are neither transferred nor visible to heirs.
Practical for sensitive personal documents you do not want anyone to see after you are gone, without splitting your whole Drive.
Granular controls: review and edit exclusions anytime, per contact or per folder.

Smarter Backup and Features
Charging-only backup: option to run backups only when the device is charging.
Scheduled backup windows: define specific hours for uploads, beyond Wi-Fi/data conditions.
Battery optimization: pause backup when battery drops below a chosen threshold.
Bulk actions: select all for multi-select operations.
Metadata editing: modify photo date and album.Duplicate handling: choose skip, replace, or keep both when duplicates are detected.

Shared documents where people access Suggesting only (without accessing Editing)
When sharing a document with people (through email link at least) I can make them an Editor or a Viewer. If they are an Editor they can Edit and Suggest. I'd like to give access only to Suggest, and leave me the owner as the only one who can accept the suggestions or make edits. This would make a lot of sense to me.
I would like to be able to make someone a Viewer or an Editor or a Suggester. Three separate roles that I can assign to their name/email.1 vote -
Ability to "pause" Trash loading/scrolling
Due to lack of search in Trash, today I was in the absurd position of sorting by name to find a file among 10's of thousands, scrolling to it and attempting to click it as it whizzes by because the UI is still loading the file list. I had to play several minutes of what is effectively a stupid game just to select my file.
So at least give us the option to make the list stable by adding items to the end of the list even if it sorted.

Resize image option when sharing images with a link
When images in Drive as hi-rez images, it is nice to have an option in Drive to resize images when sharing an image or folder.

Currently the iOS app allows photo's to backup photo's from the photo's app. But the feedback is so sparse I do not have the feeling it is doing anything.
Please show the real number of files that still need to be processed. It only shows numbers like "750+ items over".
And the background should be a clear progress bar. Or is that small white line on the left the progress.

Line spacing/Interlining
This is something that has been requested before (over 1k votes!) but refused because bundled with other suggestions so I'm adding it here. Please allow Proton Docs to have different interlining such as simple, 1.5, Double, personalised, and so on. Formatting is essential for us writers (whether in creative or academic fields) and we will not be able to completely shift to Proton without functionalities such as this small one.

Add condensed / narrow fonts to Proton Docs
Please consider adding at least one good condensed or narrow font to Proton Docs.
Condensed fonts are particularly useful for tables, technical documentation and other information-dense layouts where horizontal space is limited.
At the moment, when a table contains many columns, the available fonts require significantly more horizontal space than necessary. A font such as Arial Narrow, Roboto Condensed, Liberation Sans Narrow, or another metrically narrow alternative would make wide tables considerably easier to format without having to reduce the font size excessively.
