  2. Checklists in Proton Docs - allow to bulk check or bulk uncheck items

    Sometimes a long checklist is meant to be reused regularly.

    You go through the checklist the first time, marking items one by one until all are checked.

    Then next time, it's time to go through the checklist again. You have to refresh the checklist to make them all unchecked by clicking the box next to each item one at a time. In long checklists, this can be very tedious and time wasting.

    There should be a way to bulk select a number of checklist items, and then bulk check / uncheck them in a single click.

  3. Do not modify video files when uploading to/from Proton Drive from iPhone

    Situation:
    1. Open Proton Drive on my iPhone 15 and let it upload my camera album (both photo's and videos).
    2. Open drive.proton.me in a browser and download all uploaded photo's and video's to my Windows pc.
    3. Extract the archive.
    4. Some of the videos have "_modified" added to the file name. This means that Proton Drive had modified them somewhere in the process, what I don't like. I want the original files for the best possible quality.

    There seem to be different scenarios:
    1. Slowmotion video's are downloaded twice: once in the original version (eg. IMG1234.MOV) and…

  4. Android Proton Drive "Save As"

    I save invoices and statements emailed to me (via Proton Mail, of course!) to Proton Drive, in a folder with the creditor's name. I usually want to change the document name to the date I received it, so that I can easily sort in date order. Currently, I cannot save with a different name, and I have to save it wit the original name, then open Proton Drive again, navigate to the document, and change the name.   5. Android Proton Drive "Open With"

    If I am navigating my documents on the Proton Drive Android app, I can open text and pdf documents, but word documents and spreadsheets just return an icon. I would like an "Open With" dialogue to select an application on my phone to open the document with (this is similar to Google Drive and Filen).

    In my Proton mailbox, have an icon that takes me directly to Proton Drive. Can be below Calendar icon. So that I can just click it once and it will take me to Drive.

  7. Mac OS: Password protection on desktop app

    For the Mac OS app: This idea has been mentioned before, but I'd like to reiterate it with an addition. It would be really useful to have the ability to protect the drive as available on iPadOS and Android. I don't understand why this option wouldn't be equally important on computers. In fact, it's essential for me when working in public places with my laptop. I'd like to see the same feature on Macs, plus the added option of using Touch ID (available on most modern Mac models).

  8. Customizable Storage Quota Thresholds

    It'd really cool to be able to set your own storage quota capacity used thresholds at an account level to dictate what is "warning" or critical" so everyone could decide the color coding of storage usage based on their own workflows. Currently, everything except the windows protondrive app show 3TB of 6TB (50% usage) as orange. A couple slide bars for warning/critical levels would be much more helpful.

  9. Direct Upload links to various Apps like Zangi, Instagram, Telegram, Discord

    Create a drop-down list of various apps that can be directly uploaded to various platforms like Zangi, Telegram, instagram, Dicord etc.
    At the moment there is no way ,to share files directly to any other place,apart,from a PC.
    For people using the Phones and iPads this is not possible

    Again, as with Proton Calendar and Proton Drive, the more similar the Google environment is, the better the theme will be. In addition, we will gain in privacy, which is what we all want, and that is why we are committed to this project, even if it sometimes entails a sacrifice, in terms of time and fluidity of the applications.     Ability to add emojis to any document edited by Proton Docs. Maybe by from the toolbar or by writing a colon meaning the emoji name follows like :simle:

  12. Accessing ProtonDrive through DuckDuckGo (bugfix)

    [suspected bug] Downloads from PD through DuckDuckGo could not be located anywhere on my Galaxy device. Reported to support, who recommended I try another browser. Indeed: no such problem with Chrome. But may still be worth looking into.

  19. Improvements for Proton Docs

    Improvements to Proton Docs would allow me to be able to switch to Proton almost exclusively, which would be amazing! Here's some things I'd love to see in Docs:

    • See the borders of my documents (maybe an on-off toggle switch)
    • Ability to adjust margins and print settings before writing
    • Improved tables/grids/graphs
    • Custom line spacing
    • More font options or the ability to import fonts
    • Export Proton Docs to .docx or .pdf, and the ability to convert these file types into Proton and edit them as Proton Docs (like Google Docs does).
    • Offline use

  20. Improvements in documents (save order lists, summary index)

    Using proton docs as default, I have noticed that these problems are being a pain:

    1. Alphabetical or numbered lists lost the order if you add a table, code block or quote in the middle. Too would be great if these blocks will adapt to the line indent, to keep design and structure of the document.

    2. It is not possible to add manually or automatically a summary index to move faster in long documents. At the moment I am using comments, which appear in a sidebar and allow me to move faster.
