Show folder size.
It is basically useless when you are informed that your drive is reaching its limit and you can not ascertain which folder/s are using the most 'space'.
The only way to find out what's "hogging up" drive space is to have to individually drill down into each folder and see what size the files are.
Extremely and utterly frustrating, especially when you have tens/hundreds of folders, and in this day and age of 'internet functionality' it's like stepping back into the 80's as the only way to find out what's using up space is to check each file.
Frustrated.

Slideshow Screensaver Android
I want to use my photos backed up on Proton Drive as a screensaver on an Android tablet. Google Photos has the option to be used directly as a screensaver, which shuffles through all backed up photos.

Direct and bulk download of Proton Docs/Sheets files from Proton Drive application
Right now when this is being attempted, the following error message is given:
Your download includes Proton Docs or Proton Sheets files
Proton Docs and Proton Sheets files cannot be downloaded directly and will not be included in this download. You can download the other files by clicking 'Continue downloading'.
To download these files, open them in Proton Docs or Proton Sheets and export them.

Make Proton Drive folder a 'proper' folder on Mac
I was trying to work out whether the files in my Proton Drive folder were being backed up to my cloud-based Backblaze backup. Trying to find out where Proton Drive files are actually stored on Mac was a bit of a nightmare. I was unable to clearly see whether these files were included in my backup because they're effectively hidden deep within the user Library. This obfuscation means that I don't trust Proton Drive to hold my files because I can't easily locate and access them, which can be a critical task when setting up things like a cloud backup…

Proton Doc links should continue to work, even when moved out of Proton Drive's folder
I moved a Proton Doc 'file' (link) out of the Proton Drive folder on my Mac, which seems to have the same effect as deleting the document.
Trying to open the link from outside the Proton Drive folder gives an error: "This file type can only be opened from within Proton Drive." The link still won't work even if I put it back inside the Proton Drive folder. After doing this, trying to open the file throws up the same error but also creates a "Revision is currently not enabled" sync error in the menu bar icon.
This is jarring…

Ability to opt out of certificate pinning
I want to use Proton Drive on my work computer but I can't because my work computer is secured with deep packet inspection, i.e. they have set it up to be a "man-in-the-middle" and can inspect all my encrypted traffic. Proton Drive protects against this (presumably via certificate pinning) and will not sync files up or down if the certificate is not correctly coming from Proton. This is a great security feature and I'm glad it is implemented, but it means I cannot use Proton Drive here at work. It would be nice if I could go into the settings…

Add Password when exporting a ProtonSheet into xlsx
ProtonSheet is crypted, that's great. but what happens when we export the sheet?
For security reason, it could be nice to be able to add a password when exporting the sheet into xlsx (or other format if compatible)

Quick navigation to main page on mobile app
If you are inside a directory and click on “Files” in the navigation bar on the left bottom corner, it should take you back to the main Files page. Currently, nothing happens when you tap on it.

Add a button to download all photos from the photos section of Proton Drive
In the photos section of the web interface, I see no option to download all the photos. When I select photos, I can download the selection and I can even select by months, but not by years and there is no select all button. Selecting many years of photos by months to download all of them is very tedious. It would be helpful to add a select all button or a download all button. Also, it would be great if photos could somehow be synced into the Proton Drive folder via the PC app.

Sheets should display the Sheets logo as the webpage favicon
https://sheets.proton.me redirects to https://docs.proton.me/recents?type=spreadsheet. That page displays the Docs logo as the webpage favicon instead of the Sheets logo. The Sheets logo should be used instead so it's clear what webpage/webapp is displayed. If I bookmark this page or add it to my homescreen or desktop, it appears to be Proton Docs instead of Proton Sheets.

Add CTRL + SHIFT + Z for redo
In docs the default keyboard shortcut for redo is CTRL + Y. Which is fine but most software also support the CTRL + SHIFT + Z keyboard shortcut.
I would like to be able to configure this or that both keyboard shortcuts are supported for the redo action.

Immich like Photo features
Hello Proton,
Many users are missing decent Photo capabilites in Proton Drive. Lack of albums, shared albums, features like memories, places, face recognition, basic photo management like offloading images etc. All of these features are provided by the best tool released so far - Immich.Can Proton team consider deep diving into Immich and it's features to further enhance the Photo offerings?

Love the iOS photo backup on my iOS device! But It would be absolutely fantastic if iOS iCloud files backup were also available in Drive.

[Proton Drive – Photos Web] Do not redirect user to album after adding photo(s)
Current Behavior:
When adding one or more photos to an album via the Proton Drive Photos web interface, the user is automatically redirected to the destination album.Expected Behavior:
The user should remain in the Photos view after adding photo(s) to an album, consistent with the behavior already implemented in the mobile apps (at least iOS, I didn't check the Android on).Problem Statement:
This redirect creates significant friction when organizing photos spread across a long time period. For each add action, the user is forced to:
- Get redirected to the album
- Click "Back"

Email-2-drive for automatic attachment file storing
It would be very (!) handy to use a email address as a file collector for Drive. So "all white listed senders are allowed to send messages with attachments to a unique email address (linked to Drive) and Drive automatically saves the attachment to a specific folder.
Even better: Lumo intellegence applied to give the file a content based file name such as "yyyymmdd Tax application 2026 Company".
That email address can be also used by a scanner for an fast document process from hard copy letter to pdf file in Drive. Also SaaS as Atlassian Jira use these email-2-issue…

Using Drive for Photos albums in efficient way - smart and fast uploads
Using Drive for albums efficiently means, in my opinion, this: I go to the Photos section, then to Albums in P.Drive, click on upload folder, and select one folder on my PC, for example, "July 2025 trip to London", and Drive loads all the whole album at once, including all photos and videos, to the Albums section without any problems, with the same file name I've already given it. But today it's not able to do this. What's the point of having a photo slideshow app if I can't upload them easily and efficiently?

Block-level sync capability (Delta-sync)
AS a designer with many local large files
I WANT only the changes made to each file to sync (not the whole file every time)
SO I CAN save time, bandwidth, processor cycles, and my sanity.GIVEN I use large binary files
WHEN I edit a file locally

Sortable Albums in Proton Photos
Proton Photos needs the ability to sort albums. As the number of albums grows, the current fixed order becomes confusing and hard to navigate.
Requested features
- Alphabetical sorting
- Sorting by creation or modification date
