    Proton Drive App for Apple TV. It would be very useful to see synchronized photos from my iPhone on the big TV.

  3. Share-Icons that show password protection and expiry date

    Currently, an icon only lets the user know if a file or directory is currently being shared.

    It would be awesome to enhance the icon a bit (e.g. with a little clock in the corner of the icon) if the user set an expiry date for the folder. This way I do not have to click on the icon and then on the settings icon in the dialogue to check if it is set.

    The same can be done for password protection: Adding a little padlock quickly lets the user know that a password has been set for the shared…

  4. Show backup status in Proton Drive App

    In the "My Computer" tab of proton drive, I'd like to be able to see the progress of each folder's sync. It could be a percentage or a fraction view, showing the number of gb transferred vs gb left.

    Also, having more options for syncing would be preferred as well such as the ability to pause computer sync to allow items in the sync folder to sync ("My Files") or being able to set the batch size from 4 to something larger (for example when transferring many small files)

  5. Access trash from proton drive app

    Right now, the Proton Drive app shows minimal information about the trash bin. Users have to log in to the website in order to see or delete the trash.

    This could be construed as predatory to new users since the trash both takes up space (rapidly if you have computer backups) and is never deleted without manual intervention. The app makes it look like you're running out of space even if that space might be primarily made up of trash bin items.

  6. Bringing a file as an upload link into the email we write... simply

    I would like to 'Write Email' via button on the ProtonDrive app or page. Then I may get in there with a doc or file. emailing drive docs.

    could it work in a work in new app, a Proton Drive/based app?

    why wouldn't it be a mostly decent idea for recreating the PMail app as a PDrive app; and then, to be mail under the drive. Does that fit the security parameters for protonmail.

  7. Photo viewing mode

    I have a folder of photos I've uploaded. To view them on the mobile app, I have to open one, then close it, then open another one, etc.

    It would be nice to have a photo viewing mode where I could just open them and swipe between them instead, kind of the same as the iOS photos app does.

  8. Support More Video File Formats in Proton Drive

    Currently, Proton Drive has limited support for video file playback, requiring users to download external players like VLC to view certain formats such as .MOD files. Expanding Proton Drive’s built-in video player to support a wider range of formats would improve usability and convenience, reducing the need for third-party software.

  9. Pin Documents/Files & Folders — Color Code Documents/Files & Folders — Add Folders To Lefthand Bar

    Proton Drive is already a FANTASTIC Product! But there is room for improvement in the file 'organizing department':

    — It would be extremely useful to both be able to pin important Documents/Files and Folders, so that they are always showed on top in the File List, no matter how the rest of the files are organized (by Name, Modified or Size).

    — It would also be extremely useful to be able to Color Code Documents/Files and Folders, and name the color codes, for example if you have a Project Name or Relation (Holiday, Family, Work etc.). Color Coding enables one…

  10. Pictures in Drive show on Photos

    We can upload picture files to the drive and organise them according to our needs with Folders... BUT, we cannot see those pictures in the Photos tab?!

    It would be great to see the Photo's tab include all photos whether in the 'My Files' section or uploaded onto 'Photos'. That being said, a 'Photos' folder in 'My Files' would be a better solution to letting us create Folders/Albums and also see all the pictures in the same place.

    Hiya Proton Team!
    Folders are the crux of everything we do on Drive. From organising our cherished memories, separating the important from the miscellaneous, to categorising documents. I think Folders in Drive need a facelift to help make them even more useful for users.

    1. Favourite/Star Folders - Star any folder or subfolder to add it straight to the homepage for quick access
    2. Pin to Top - Pin any subfolder to the top of its parent folder regardless of usual order, with the usual resuming when there are more than one pinned folder
    3. Colours/Icons - Allow users to choose any picture…

  13. Easy switch for iPhotos

    I'd love to see an easy switch option from Mac's iPhotos to Proton Drive, rather than transferring 100 photos at a time (cumbersome with 1000s of photos!). I'm also noticing that the dates of my photos that I transfer to Proton Drive are inaccurate--would love to improve that.

  14. Make shift-clicking selection boxes allow multiple non-continuous selections like gmail.

    Most software that has selection boxes (eg gmail) allow you to shift click one sequence of files, then shift click another sequence of files and create a non-continuous selection like this: [X][X][X][X][ ][ ][ ][X][X][X].

    It protondrive though, trying to do this causes your first sequence to be replaced by your second. This is a major quality of life issue when sorting a large volume of files

  15. Download and upload P2P torrent directly in Proton Drive ?

  18. Proton Drive Docs: collapsible headings (like Google Docs)

    Collapsible/expandable headings like Google Docs has: by clicking on a small "arrow down" icon next to a heading, all content under that heading collapses (disappears) and reappears by clicking again on the arrow (which now has become an "arrow right"). Of course, when the content disappears, the remaining (still visible) doc content below that heading section moves up (to occupy the space of the disappeared content).
    This allows to hide sections (e.g. on top) that might not be relevant (to the user) but can still occupy a lot of space and force the user to scroll down (where he/she might…

  19. Fixed-Size Progress Window in Proton Drive

    In Proton Drive when uploading a folder, the progress window jumps up and down wildly as it shows more or fewer active or completed files being transferred. Can you make the window stay one size, so it doesn't look so chaotic?

    Better yet, can Proton Drive just show a progress bar next to the folder, instead of a detailed window. Maybe the window with file-by-file info can be hidden in an info button next to the progress bar.

  20. Proton Docs - Copy/Paste text formatting

    It would be nice to be able to copy/paste formatting in Proton Docs, ex: copying the color/style/etc. of text and pasting it to other sections. In most editors this is 'ctrl + alt + c' and 'ctrl + alt + v'. It's a feature I use heavily, especially when color-coding things, and would do wonders for moving my current workflow into Proton docs.
