Please allow users to reorder photos manually
I would like to be able to manually reorder photos that have incorrect time stamps. The photo storage is useless to me without this feature, and storing photos was the main reason that I signed up for proton drive.

Sync Symlinks in Proton Drive on Unix/MacOS
Currently it seems that if a symlink is created in the Local Proton Drive Folder, it is ignored. It would be useful if the symlinks were followed and synced. This would allow to sync files anywhere on the filesystem to Proton Drive by symlinking from the file to the local Proton Drive Folder.
Use cases include syncing files that need to be in a certain locations, like local configurations (bashrc and similar) without having to copy them each time they change.

Make Photos in "My Files" visible in the Photos section and vice versa.
Managing Photos as a subset of Files is a fairly standard use case if you want to Synch with Desktop (which is critical to me).13 votes -
A Shared drive for company use
We have started to use Proton in our company next to Google. As long as it is still not fully functional in the same way we will keep things next to eachother. At least supporting the product development of Proton by having a paid subscription!
A small step in the right direction would be to have proper Shared Drives that are 'company owned' instead of user owned. And where you can jointly keep data stored.

Format currency cells according to the currency symbol entered
If I enter "£3.00" in a cell, Proton Sheets will turn it into $3. It changes the currency but also removes the decimal places I entered. This feels kind of broken. I don't see how or why this would be expected or acceptable behaviour.

Open and edit files directly in the mobile app (Android)
Unfortunately, the Proton Drive Android app is pretty useless.
It's essential that you can also edit files with it.
When a file is opened (e.g., DOCX, XLSX, ODT, ODS, etc.), a suitable installed app should open to view and edit the file. When a change is saved, it should then be synchronized with Drive.This is how Google Drive and Nextcloud do it. I'm actually shocked that this doesn't work with ProtonDrive.

Shooting for the moon here, but if Proton Drive could include some sort of electronic signature feature to send documents to folks by email (within or outside Proton) to request a legally valid signature (think DocuSign), that would take care of a big need for professionals using Proton for their practice.

Utilize Proton AI integration to allow photo sorting by face, location, text, or content of a photo.
Allow for Proton Drive photos to be as similar to iPhone Gallery and Google Photos as possible as far as sorting goes. Many of the quality of life features found in these apps would be very useful for making Proton Drive photos feel less cumbersome.

Docs page color
I know similar things have been suggested before, but if a dark mode is ever added I'd much rather it affect the UI and not the page itself; I'd like to be able to choose the page color and font color myself.
This is, assuming of course, a non-pageless format is added.

Add to iOS share via menu
I use a scan to PDF app daily. After I scan a document, I want to upload to Proton Drive but the option to select Proton Drive is not available. I have to go through the Files app, which has Proton Drive setup within. I’d like to add directly to Proton Drive!

Arranging photo-albums in Protondrive per year
I would like that it is possible to arrange photo-albums i have imported in Protondrive in sequence of the year they are from, for example at the top the album of 2012 then 2013 etc.

bookmarks on documents
how about adding bookmarks on word documents? I would like to go back and forth in the document, writing stuff and everytime I have to scroll through all of it which is kinda inconvenient as soon as the document is long more than 2/3 pages

Implement a RECENT button that shows all recent activity in Drive (added, changed, recently accessed, etc.) Similar to how Google Drive does it (sorry).

Add photos to an album by going to a different album and adding it from there
When I go to add photos to an album, it brings be to all of my photos. It would be helpful if I had the option to navigate to existing albums to add photos from there. Or, if in the album options, to be able to select and "move to" or "copy to" a different album.

Ability to permanently delete one or more files without going to the Recycle Bin
In the various right-click menus, add "Delete Permanently" ...it simply prevents some files from having to be deleted twice.

Allow to Only Sync Selected Folders
Similar to Dropbox, it would be great if I could keep only a few folders in sync locally. In other words, if I have 20 folders in Proton Drive, I only want to have 5 of those folders on my Mac; the others can be online-only.

Document formatting: Add support for superscript and subscript
It doesn’t seem possible to format superscript (e.g., “x²”) and subscript (e.g., “O₂”), which is made easy in e.g. Google Docs. Please add for easier and more complete formatting options.

Allow Proton Photos to index photos stored in Drive folders
Problem: I currently manage my large photo archive in folders, grouped per year, so I am not depending on one photo library (like Apple Photo's).
Wish: Let Proton Dive index photo's from such folders, so users can use both the folder structure as well as the Photo gallery. Allow users to mark one or more Drive folders as "Photo folders". Proton Photos should automatically index the supported media files inside those folders while preserving the original folder structure.
Currently, it looks like photo's uploaded in folders to Drive, are considered as 'files' and not indexed as 'photo's'.
Result: More flexibility…

Correctly display Japanese characters in sheets
Currently there is no option to correctly display Japanese characters in sheets. It defaults to Chinese characters and there is no option to change the typeface into a Japanese one.
