Proton Docs: Convert Case
I would like a feature to change the case of selected text. For example, change "I have a dog named Bruno" to:
- all caps ("I HAVE A DOG NAMED BRUNO")
- all lower case ("i have a dog named bruno")
- title case ("I Have a Dog Named Bruno")

iOS: Ability to Return to Previously Viewed Page in PDF Viewer
For example, if I tap on a chapter in the table of contents in a PDF and the view jumps to that chapter, I would like a “back” or “return” button allowing me to easily jump back to the table of contents.
I have a lot of books in PDF form and it would be nice to read those PDFs within the Proton Drive app instead of having to export to another app, like Adobe.

Migrate From Ente
I’m currently using Ente until the Proton photo backup feature matures a bit more (and has additional tools like being able to sync deletion of a photo from the Drive with deletion from my device). At that point, I’d like to be able to easily migrate my photos from Ente Photos to Proton Photos.

Proton Docs: use pt instead of px, or offer choice
I just tried Docs für the first time and the first thing that springs to my eye is the font size showing "px" as measurement. Being curious about this I downloaded a test doc as .docs and opened it in Word, which showed the correct size in points (e.g. 16px -> 12pt).
While I am happy that the measurement unit is no mistake and is converted correctly, I still wonder why Proton chose to go with px instead of pt while still offering the same sizes as other text editors, just using px as unit. While the average user might not care I do think this could lead to some confusion on why shared documents show unexpected font sizes in other editors if you don't know the difference.
Diverting from an accepted standard is ok, but in my opinion it should be noted somewhere or possible to change to the "standard" unit.

Proton Photos ios local download
At the moment, on iPhone or iPad with Proton Drive Photos, you can only select individual pictures and make them available to other photo apps locally on the device by using the share function and “Save Image.” However, if you currently select more than one picture, this function is no longer available. It would be very helpful to have the option in the future to save multiple pictures or entire albums locally.

Multi account on Proton Drive PC application and access history in docs by email
Multi accounts on Proton Drive PC application (like Proton Mail) would be very helpful for users who have more than 1 account to manage, we need to make loggout and login again on Drive creating every time a new folder in PC w/ different names to access the documments on the cloud. it makes everything confuse and impractical.
Additionally, I suggest to implement an access history for docs by email/PC-ID and an easy buttom to download the registers (for controllers/creators) - very useful for business access control and compliance.

Hide identity of uploader
Currently, a publicly shared folder in proton drive shows the address of whomever uploaded it, and this address cannot be changed to a different one than that originally tied to your account as far as I can tell.
This can be gotten around by uploading from a private window with no login, however it would be nice if it was simply an option to change or hide the identifier, at least for those who the folder is shared to or used a public share link.

Swipe up to see photo details
When I view a photo inside the Proton Drive gallery, I want to swipe up to see details of the photo (date, camera infos, location) and a map that shows the location of the photo. It could look similar to iCloud.

All photos available offline
I want to use Proton Drive as a replacement for my phone gallery. Therefore, I want my photos to appear in the app instantly and not only after uploading. Also, I want all photos to be available offline, because I want to view photos without a network connection.

Possibility to import existing Album structures from "Foto-App from Apple"
Please integrate a import function, to import the already existing Album structure of the Photo Library from Apple Environment. This would help to switch, because to do that manually for thousands of photos is a big hurdle.

Show/notify pics and videos taken the same day in previous years
When opening the app (or web app) it would be nice if pics and videos taken the same day in previous years are shown. Also apps could send "on this day" notifications directing to this feature.

Backup on schedule
Would be great to have an option to backup on schedule. Problem I have now is if a program does a lot of real time changes in a folder, then Proton Drive will go rampant with trying to save these changes to the cloud and often bug out because the files are in use etc.

Proton Docs Download to .epub and change page colour
There is an option to download to .pdf and .docx, having an option for e-readers would be helpdful.
Even though it's been mentioned several times already, please have dark mode option for Proton Docs OR add the setting to change the page colour to black or another colour if someone wants.

Ability to Prioritize Sync
As a user of Proton Drive, I would like to prioritize files and folders above other file syncs. There are certain files that are critical to be updated as soon as possible over other sync files. For example, you have added a bunch of photos to proton drive and they are taking hours to be added to proton Drive Cloud. Suddenly you update a critical file. It would be convenient to prioritize that file above the photos so it get updated as soon as possible instead of behind all the photos.at present there is no way to prioritize sync updates. A low, medium and high is good enough or just a high priority would work.

allow syncing local folders directly to My Files
Currently we can sync folders which get tied to specific computers. What I would like to see is the ability to set a local folder to sync directly to "My Files" instead of being bound to a specific computer.

Enable 'rclone' to give you access to the Proton Drive as part of the Mac file system, or produce a Terminal app yourselves.
I've used the command-line program 'rclone' to show my Proton Drive as part of my Mac file system, so I can backup files from a Terminal. It's dead slow, but it worked. Then, two days ago, I ran
rclone mount proton: ~/ProtonDrive \
--vfs-cache-mode writes \
--tpslimit 0.3 \
--transfers 1 \
--checkers 1 \
--low-level-retries 1 \
--timeout 10s \
--daemon --protondrive-replace-existing-draft=true
and it said
"CRITICAL: Failed to create file system for "proton:": couldn't initialize a new proton drive instance: 422 POST https://mail.proton.me/api/auth/v4: We are detecting potentially abusive traffic coming from your network and have temporarily blocked logins. I went to that URL and filled in the form. No response, and it still doesn't work, 48 hours later. There is no abusive traffic on my network. Auto trim Trash item older the XX days
Compared to other Web Drive providers, Proton Drive lacks a feature where items whose 'Deleted Time' exceeds a certain threshold (i.e. 30 days) get automatically deleted by the system.
There are a number of reasons as to why this might be so. One possible reason could be that, due to data encryption on Proton's side, they cannot view certain metadata of the file, such as its 'Deleted Time'. This would then exclude any attempts by the server to perform housekeeping duties. The solution is to move the deletion routine into the user clients instead. All the server has to do is track a new variable storing the number of days for trash retention, which the user would set to their preference. When a client app connects to the Drive, it would retrieve the stored value and then perform the deletion routine. To minimise server traffic, clients should only do the check once every 24 hours.
For browser clients, the user would have to click into the Trash folder and click on a specific button, which would manually initiate the deletion process. I'm sure some client-side JavaScript could easily do this securely.
