Foto Face recognition
I moved all my fotos from Google Fotos to to Proton Drive Foto. One
Google feature I am missing ..... the face recognition which enabled me to find
in short time several fotos from specific persons (or also animals)
Wouldn't it be great to have this with Proton Drive Foto ??8 votes -
Proton Drive to prevent sleep while syncing
My recommendation is that Proton Drive keeps Windows - or any OS for that matter - alive while synching and ignore power settings.
I find it quire irritating to come back and find my PC sleeping because that's it's standard behaviour. But when I am having my drive synced I don't want that.

Add possibility to import photos to be backed up on desktop Drive app to make it work better than in mobile.

Be able to set automatic text format in Proton Doc
It would be nice to have a section to set automatic text formats such as paragraph indenture, english or french quotation marks, use of non-breaking space and narrow non-breaking space, and so on. It could take the form of a dropdown menu such as the word count for example.

Drive for android: cannot edit and return if scan goes ahead too far
If I try to scan or capture a document, I cannot return if I go too far. It should be possible to add a document to a selection (plus symbol top-right) after pushing the ahead button, but then remember that another needs to be added. This is possible with CamScanner but isn't with Proton Drive Scanner.

Sheets - search cell notes
I would like to be able to search cell notes.
The "Find in sheet" search box currently searches cells' formulas and even their displayed values—e.g., a
$in a cell that has theAccountingformat.Combining them into a unified search would be okay. An option to limit the search range to formula, displayed value, and/or note would also be nice.

Paste values only
Please include an option to paste values only in sheets, like Excel or Google Sheets allows to. If I paste some cell content, the fill colour disappears and the alignment is wrong.

Sort by deletion date
The mobile app does not allow you to sort files in the bin by deletion date. However, this can be done in the web version

Proton Drive for omarchy
There is the cli option but we need seamless drive syncs for omarchy with a gui - with official support. This year is the year of omarchy and adoption is on!

Link to other parts of a doc. I want to make a table of contents that links to the parts of the doc that is being referenced.

Photos: Offer backup delay, dont backup new photos rightaway so i can sort them first
It would be nice if i could turn on like 1 week delay so i have couple days to delete bad photos and some "temp" files before they get automatically included in backup
In term of logic it would just compare file creation date with current date to include/exclude file..

Photos: offer automatic video downscale from 4k to 1080p when backing up
Native photo gallery usually does not offer this so it would be handy to have such option here

Photos preview grid, add toggle to show extra information to each photo in the grid
add to the top toolbar where "All, favourites, videos.." filters sit some individually controllable on/off toggles to show with each photo in the grid stuff like album it belongs to so i can quickly identify photos that i missed and forgot to put in album
Another toggle could show the photo/video size

Photos Preview thumbnail Local cacheing
It takes too long for previews to appear when scrolling trough photos.. allow me to set some number of photos or date rage like ”last 2 years" that persists cached previews to make scrolling more quick and smooth

Photos viewing grid zoom in/out
Allow me to pinch to zoom in and out to change number of cols being showed when scrolling trough the photos.. just like any other photo gallery..

Photos backup progress bar needs to show more information and allow me to pause/restart backup process
It would be benefitial for troubleshooting and reassuring user how things got to make that backup progress bar show more information such as what file is being processed currently and what is being done (currently it just shows dummy labels like backing up and encrypting..) as it sometimes gets stuck and i dont even know what file caused it..
Ultimate upgrade would make that progress bar clickable and display full queee of the photos/videos that are being processed with their status also the upload progress in term of megabites uploaded for larger files..1 vote -
Android Photos settings: list of folders needs to show more information about folders
Im struggling to find specific folders on my phone as app curently shows just that specific folder name and i often need information such as if the folder is on internal memory or SD card as well as seeing at least parent folder of the suggested folder in the list.. as folders sometimes can have quite generic nemes and two folders can have same name and without seeing their parent directory I'm kind of lost..
