Sorting options in upload list (by date, name, size)
When uploading files to Drive (at least in the web version), there is a panel that shows the list of current uploads. It would be really helpful if this list could be sorted — by date, name, or size. Even just sorting by date (A→Z / Z→A) would make it easier to see what was uploaded first/last and keep track of order.
In the uploads panel we currently have: All, Active, Completed, and Failed. It would be really helpful to also have a 'Queued' category. Sometimes uploads stack up, and it's hard to tell what's waiting vs what's actually transferring.…

Grid view option for share links
When opening a folder shared via a link, the files are presented in list view. There is no option for grid view. It would be nice to have the option to switch to grid view.
Users with Proton accounts can save the shared folder and view it from the "Shared with me" tab in Proton Drive. There it is possible to choose grid view. Users without Proton accounts do not have this option.

Spreadsheet with percent width for columns
I know most spreadsheet software only have the pixel to set for column width.
But the point is a spreadsheet should be presentable between different display resolutions and sizes.
Why don't we be outstanding, make this new feature:
- Column width option: percent of display width
- And spreadsheets can be shared between users, colleagues to see the same layout1 vote -
Ability to import from Apple Numbers to Sheets
I would like the ability to import an Apple Numbers spreadsheet directly into Proton Sheets, going through excel loses some formatting int he process and it is hard to determine where the structures were lost. it would also save a step in the process.

"Incomplete" Proton Sheets viewer
A complete Proton Sheets would be nice, yet a simple viewer for sheets (.ods, .xls, etc) would be enough for me 30% of the time

Column view for folders
Problem: it is currently quite slow to explore folder structures with a lot of nested folders (this typically happens in professional structures).
I would love to see a "column view" that would allow me to quickly navigate deep folder structures using my keyboard (arrows). It would be wonderful to pre-load the tree of folders / files to skip making a call to the API every time I browse a new folder

Jump to header in Docs
I think it is very good for simply writing novels, which is what I used google docs for and has everything that I would need with the cloud saving without google. Only, I would really like it if you could add a feature to navigate between headers for large novels. Jump to a header that's in a list you can activate or deactivate. Otherwise, great!

Sheet: Choose encoding when import
We cannot choose file encoding when importing CSV file.
Because of I'm Japanese user, I often use Shift JIS encoding for CSV file.
There are many services that issues CSV as Shift JIS encoding in Japan.

Video won't play at all what actually works to fix a corrupted file?
Got a video file that refuses to open. No picture, no audio, or the classic "this file is not a movie file" error. If you've hit this, you know how frustrating it is especially when it's footage you can't re-record.
Before trying anything, copy the file off the original drive. Work on the copy. A failed repair attempt on the source can make things worse, and if the storage itself is failing, you want the data out first.

Option to Completely Disable File and Folder Sharing
I would like to request an account-level setting that allows users to completely disable file and folder sharing in Proton Drive.
While users can simply choose not to share their files, an option to disable sharing entirely would prevent accidental creation of share links and reduce the risk of unintended data exposure due to human error.
This would be particularly valuable for security-conscious users who use Proton Drive exclusively for personal storage and have no need for sharing features. It would provide an additional layer of protection by ensuring that sharing cannot be enabled or used accidentally.

Specify how many rows and columns should be the maximum in Sheets, so you can control how far the scroll goes
Currently, deleting columns in Sheets to reduce the horizontal scroll bar takes a while to delete all of the A#, B#, C# columns, so if you just want 26 columns (A-Z) it's irritating to manually delete columns. Ideally I'd love a button in the View dropdown menu where you can change how many columns and/or rows that appear in your Sheet.

100 GB Proton Drive Plus, für EUR 2,49 monatlich, und ich bin dabei.
Der Titel des Vorschlags beschreibt es im Grunde schon. Ich benötige als online Drive keine 1 TB, und auch keine 200 GB. Weniger wegen der Preisgestaltung als vielmehr deshalb, weil ich auch beim aktuell kleinsten Angebot nie die zur Verfügung gestellten 200 GB nutzen würde. Warum also für etwas bezahlen was man nicht nutzen wird. selbst 100 GB sind noch immer zu viel, aber OK. Wenn ich mein Nutzungsverhalten hinterfrage, und ungefähr weiß, dass ich etwa die Hälfte von 100 sehr wahrscheinlich nutzen werde, macht der monatliche Plan für 100 GB dann irgendwo auch Sinn. Add a setting to set additional paths for automatic photo backup
Currently, the automatic photo backup feature on Android only looks for photos in the Camera and Screenshots folders. I'd like for there to be a setting to add additional folder paths that will be backed up, so that for example photos in my downloads folder will get backed up.

Sync by last modified date rather than file size
Today syncing is based on file sizes. When a file's size changes, it triggers synchronization. Conversely, if there are no size changes, synchronization won't occur. This is very unpractical when doing small edits within a file. Sync by last modified date rather than file size is much more practical.

I would really like to completely leave google and use Proton. I am stuck because there is this ability to check the cell history on google sheets, that helps track changes done by others collaborating on the sheets. This is a really integral part of our work, would love to see this feature on proton sheets. Any idea if it will be available in the near future?

You established the table of content to the web browser recently.

Allow selected files to SYNC FIRST before checking differences
Hi,
Proton drive always list all the changes before syncing files. The problem with this configuration is that if you need 2 or 3 files just right now, you won't get them. If the amount of files in the scan is important it can take a looooot of time (once i've had 35 minutes!!) before you get your files wich makes Proton Drive a pain in the a**. It would be nice to have an option in the right click menu along with "view offline", "view online", "refresh" that would be "instant download" and that would come first when relaunching…1 vote -
restore multiple deleted files and folders
I would like restore many (deleted and non deleted) files and folders spanning multiple locations, all at once.
For example, this applies in cases where multiple files and folders on a PC have been infected by, say, a virus, and the files in the cloud have also become infected following synchronisation. Entire folders must be restored to a previous version to ensure that the files can be restored to an uninfected state.
Manually restoring files one by one to a previous version isn’t really an option; you’d want to do this for a specific folder, including any subfolders within it.4 votes
