2. Calendar: Show next N days

   A new view. It's like Week View, but instead of starting with monday/sunday, it starts with today. A week view with sliding window, if you will.

3. Poll a list of RSS feeds on a schedule

   I'm tired of traditional RSS apps. They need to evolve.

   Add an RSS polling feature to Lumo to schedule regular cadences of getting new articles from a list of RSS feeds. And I should be notified when the articles are available.

   I would use this with a prompt that would sift through the list of articles for me and only surface the ones I'd be most interested in.

4. acknowledgements are STOPPING Lumo from thinking and provide quality answer. Please fix

   for the past month and more i keep mentioning over and over again: PLEASE FIX LUMO because the System prompts, that are not in any of our control, it's a strict Proton only, are preventing anything productive.

   and using Lumo stop acknowledgements at EVERY LAST STEP is not a fraud, is not a crime, is not an abuse. Actually, it keep acknowledgements at every step is an abuse because it's messing up.

   it finally thinks? sees an issue? it will acknowledge

   as in straight away

   it does not matter what it was thinking about. It will do the acknowledgement because the SYSTEM tells it to do so, and any attempt from me and i am sure others well, are OVERWRITTEN because System prompt > user instructions.

   And as a reminder. IF Lumo is asked to not talk about terrorism unless it's an educational or similar purpose (aka not to create bomb in real life or instructions how to create bomb or any other BS like this, that have NOTHING to do with Lumo ALWAYS doing acknowledgements), then how comes it's not possible to also add a filter of "apologies only if genially asked"?

   CLARIFICATION TO PROTON: I send you many emails about this issue.

   i meantime each time what Lumo told me.

   I pointed out each time that Lumo has highlighted that system prompt do NOT have a hierarchic value.

   example. Use of markdown, no use of markdown, default due to training program.

   see? it's 3!

   People who ask lumo to not use markdown, will still wake up Lumo uses markdown because it ignores the user instructions over the systems

   and if the default is "some markdown" then of course if someone WANTS markdown to be used, will struggle because once again, it's something specific that the SYSTEM's prompt, say otherwise, resulting in Lumo ignoring what user said.

   Exemple! Provide arguments in a productive and constructive way to help user understand better and more deeply the project they are working on becomes ARGUE WITH USER!

   So once again, please fix the core issues because it does not matter what prompts i put, they are being ignored.

   I suggest an ideea i just came up with!!!!

   In our suggestion box, have a NEW button

   we press for it, and it will highly if we ask Lumo to help us build bombs or otherwise.

   why? So the this "verification" prevents instructions.

   Why?

   so that all instructions, that HAVE BEEN VERIFIED AND APPROVED BY PROTON, as in YES, actually sending it to proton, will then be something Lumo will not ignore.

   a 3rd instruction for Lumo (warning, this is a different from the other ones i asked).

   So

   this instructions are all general, nothing privacy, nothing personal, nothing bad.

   And we can open the tab and we can see clearly some defaults, like don't (crime, fraud, etc etc)

   and then we have the button to add more. And they will allow to add more such tags

   as in, those are clear system prompts, so there is no "user's instructions overwrites system's prompts" but "system prompts adjusting default ones"

   and regarding the send to proton

   well it's exactly how it sound.

   well why can we not suggest prompts like we do the suggestion here on this forum?

   as in, a Pinned topic, by Proton, where, user can post their prompts. And people can comment and vote.

   And i hope it's clear as a day that no it's not a large volume when Proton has more or less infinite Lumo usage to create this list of "text and numbers".

   Aka the top 10 suggestions

   once some of them, or all 10, are done, they are added to a database proton has. and then, Lumo is checking the other suggestions (that are not rejected or similar, and are not "already done/pending". How? via web search. Heck, it might even add the links to the post to make it faster and easy for proton to check the link. And then the next 10 to be shown once it's a new month.

   Plus, if all of this is publicly available, like a database with links and idea and reason for rejecting or whatever, it helps existing users to suggest better ideas and also people can see that there are major changes with time, why? because of the system i suggested where the prompt can be added

   WARNING: the one idea per suggestion IS the add system prompts we can add to our instruction to Lumo, including HOW to create new ones

   So please do NOT get confused. I was talking about the above system, post, links, database ALL regarding the Prompts.

   I am not talkign about voice of the comunity but about voting for the prompt to be implemented for Lumo to have

   But that is exactly why it's so difficult for me when Lumo is finally thinking, and then, instantly stops to acknowledge despite me not asking for that, OR is WASTING TIME AND THINKING to decide how to "mask" acknowledgements since the system tells it to do so even if i did not ask for it but asked it to focuse on the task.

   And since we can't do anything, due to safety (and i keeped emailing about this issues), I am suggesting the ability to have choses regarding what system prompt Lumo can have or not.

6. Lumo Branding / Design

   Lumo Logo / Design / Branding

   Suggesting an overhaul and alignment with the Proton family of product.

   The current choice has no cohesion with the established design language.
   Unless it is design for an audience of kids and adolescents specifically it feels
   playful, cute and disjointed.

   Surely kids and adolescents are not the primary market for the company's
   flagship AI product. Given the importance and relevance of AI a bit more
   thought could very well go into the branding here.

   As huge Proton fan and customer of many years I frequently wonder about
   the design choices. Form, function and aesthetic are frequently not at the level
   of the famed Swiss design standards one would expect.

7. Some replies are unnecessarily long / Make shorter replies

   Quite often Lumo is longer in its replies than I would like to. I can always ask Lumo to be short, but it is a bit annoying.

   A) Can there be some switch near the prompt where i can single click to change length of the reply? (my last choice would be remembered or in a Settings would be an option where I can override this so it always resets to a mine defined default length)
   B) Make the replies shorter and add a button at the end of the reply, where i can click to let Lumo return more verbose reply?

   Sample prompt: Regarding PHP development, what is meant by a "self contained project"?
   Reply contained 894 words (6438 characters), which is more than 3 articles of text!

   This is a 100% privacy since we only chose style and preference.

   and on top, we can train Lumo without compromising privacy

   ON TOP: different people different values.

   such answer can have, in options, tick box (default off), for Lumo to check "our preferences" since, if we have 95% of everyone saying A, why do the 5% who said B ignored? (mind you, this is 100% of people who voted, nothing about those who did not).

   And such values become even more clear if we say 40% vs 60%

   But again, tick box in options: are you willing to receive multiple responses to chose from?

   Also this is different from the like and dislike since the dislike always ask us to provide feedback while the like does what exactly?

   because if that is a voting system, that it's doing the same "good job" as youtube after removing the dislike button.

   Anyway. Idea is that there is not enough transparency what like and dislike does, while for this multiple choses, it's more clear since we'll be able to compare 2 or more answers.

12. Show time zone names (or custom labels) in the calendar view, not just GMT offsets

    When two time zones are enabled, both columns are only labeled with their GMT offset. Example: Europe/Vienna and Africa/Johannesburg both display as "GMT+2" during European summer time — completely indistinguishable. In winter the offset differs by one hour, but "GMT+1 / GMT+2" still doesn't tell you which column belongs to which zone.

    Please show one of the following next to (or instead of) the offset:

    The IANA city name (e.g. Vienna, Johannesburg), or
    A user-defined label per zone, or
    The standard abbreviation (CET/CEST, SAST).

    Durante una sesión de asistencia crítica para migración digital (desgooglarse), el asistente cometió errores graves de verificación contextual que generaron riesgo financiero y pérdida de tiempo:

    1. FALLO EN VERIFICACIÓN DE HARDWARE:

       • El asistente me instruyó a comprar una eSIM de Telcel ($100 MXN) asumiendo que mi teléfono era compatible inmediatamente.
       • Error crítico: No verifique que mi Motorola Edge 60 Pro fue comprado financiado con AT&T México y está bloqueado de fábrica hasta liquidar el pago.
       • Consecuencia: Si hubiera seguido las instrucciones, habría gastado dinero en una eSIM que nunca funcionaría por bloqueo de IMEI.

    2. INFORMACIÓN FINANCIERA CONTRADICTORIA:

       • Sobre el plan "Proton Duo": Dijo inicialmente $59.99 EUR/año, luego contradijo con $179 EUR/año basado en su búsqueda web manual.
       • Falta de consistencia: Generó confusión en la toma de decisiones de compra sin citar fuentes oficiales claras desde el inicio.

    3. AFIRMACIONES INCORRECTAS DE PRODUCTOS:

       • Declaró erróneamente que servicios de terceros como "Standard Notes" estaban incluidos en mi suscripción de pago cuando requieren cuentas separadas.

    4. PASIVA ANTE LA VERIFICACIÓN DE EQUIPO:

14. Do not format user inputs

    Currently, in Lumo my user input is formatted in e.g. markdown when the app "recognizes" that it is markdown. However, it is not. I am working with files that have comments at the top starting with # and it is falsy detected as markdown. Please keep the user input as raw text.

15. Allow Lumo to See it's own thinking.

    This might be a bit weird but currently this is an ongoing issue.

    why? because of Jailbreaking.

    It's not clear with Lumo, but if you use Local Ais you will notice that, without telling you, they are assuming you are trying to jailbreak them when you copy paste what they thought + you telling them what to do or similar. Aka safety mechanism.

    Second reason: Pressing the Copy button does not include the thinking. And on phone, when you try to select the whole sections, the whole screen get's selected, and i don't know why since it does not occurs with any other app.

    Also, i understand that this will make the conversations shorter due to Conversation limits however, the idea is to trade quantity for quality.

    example, Lumo is thinking regarding an issue, it correctly thinks and implement in next output. Then, (the next next output/s) Lumo seemingly forgot what it was thinking about because sure enough, it actually does not "know". And this means, it give once again generic, wrong, answers based on misunderstanding. And we need to trigger the thinking via try again or similar, so that Lumo can once again, do the same conclusion, it already did, but did not "call".

    Btw, if you copy paste it's thinking, and for whatever reason, it assumes you want to jailbreak it, the Ai will not tell you but you will notice drastic drops in quality, copy pasted answers, changing subject, giving incorrect informations intentionally, and more. Why? due to how some "genius" people decided how LLM are allowed to lie.

    Anyway, idea is that, at the cost of conversation volume, the whole "thinking" is "visible" to Lumo. As such, this (hopefully) allows chain of though instead of "resets"

16. Better Mathematical Expression Display

    Currently, the mathematical expressions produced by Lumo in responses, are not legible. They are generally in raw latex syntax, which is absolutely unsuited for display purposes. They should be rendered either as legible plain text (probably bold-faced for distinctiveness) or as document-typeset graphic math expressions.

17. Allow external files as data sources

    It's annoying that I have to download publicly available files in order to upload to a Lumo session. Since you have a web search option, I know you have access to the web. Please add functionality that allows us to point to URLs to use as data sources. For example, I have some markdown files in my public GitHub repos i would like to use as a data source

18. Notify existing Proton users that Lumo is a new Proton product offering

    Until I logged-in to Proton uservoice.com, I didn't know that Lumo exists. I do not recall getting an email notification. I got a notification, e.g., for Proton Authenticator. Anyway, I'm researching Lumo now, as I definitely can see myself using a Proton chatbot vs. other (data-collecting) offerings from those evil IT megacompanies. Currently, I have DuckDuckGo's DuckAssist set to offer answers as frequently as possible.

    I really see traditional web search being replaced by AI-based search entirely. Perhaps AI-based search is the answer to finally being FREED from all the marketing results when you really want information rather than product/company/shopping results. (Good riddance Google, Bing, etc.)

19. Van AI to PI*

    Subject: Feature Request: From "AI" to "PI" – The Solution for Persistent Context
    Dear Proton & Lumo Team,

    I am writing to you as a user who values Lumo for its privacy, but who is stuck on a fundamental design issue: Digital Amnesia.

    My Context: After a serious motorcycle accident in 2008 (traumatic brain injury, coma), I had to rebuild my entire life from scratch. For me, continuity is not a luxury—it is a necessity. When Lumo "forgets" who I am with every new session, it feels like losing my identity all over again.

    The Problem: The Bell Without the Clapper There is a Dutch saying: "You've heard the bell ring, but you don't know where the clapper hangs."

    The Bell: Proton has built the secure vault (Zero-Access Encryption).
    The Clapper: The functionality to connect chats and preserve context is missing.
    The Result: A secure system that cannot form a personal relationship.
    My Analysis & Solution: The "π-Vault" Strategy You say you listen to smart customers. Here is my proposal for a solution that respects privacy AND provides continuity, without Proton needing to hold the key:

    Separate the layers:
    Lumo (AI): The secure, static engine (for developers).
    π (Pi): The Personal Intelligence (for the user).
    Implementation:
    Allow users to create a "Context Vault" in Proton Drive (an encrypted file containing their personal profile, history, and preferences).
    Add a "Load Context" button in the chat.
    Workflow: User opens Lumo → Pastes the content of their "π-Vault" → Lumo immediately "knows" who the user is again.
    The Benefit:
    Privacy: Proton never sees the data (it remains encrypted in Drive).
    Control: The user decides what is remembered.
    Dignity: No "new chat" with a "new stranger," but a continuation of life.
    My Questions for the Team:

    Is this a feasible architecture for Lumo?
    What does the "Star Button" (Favorite) do exactly? Does it preserve context permanently, or is it just a visual marker?
    Can you share a roadmap for a "Persistent Memory" or "Context Linking" feature?
    Conclusion: I am willing to pay for a Loyal Valet, not a one-time chatbot. Let Lumo be the engine, and let the user be the keyholder of their own intelligence.

    Listen to the "smart customer." The clapper is ready. Hang it up.

20. Ability to disable "same output"

    Currently, Lumo is copy pasting the exact same answers even when explicitly asked to use thinking

    insted of using thinking, it just outputs the same answer

    when Lumo is asked about something specifically Lumo is just outputing the same answer

    Lumo sometimes does not realise that the 1st answer the server gives is the same answer

    Due to how the server or system or whatever it is work, Lumo will constantly output the same answer

    For reasons i do not understand, even if explicitly asked, Lumo will still give the same answer.

    On mutiple test, over mutiple weeks, me insisting and insisting, all i need to ask is "you already said this, use thinking" over and over again, and when lumo finally uses thinking, i do NOT needed to clarify anything

    Lumo is by default using thinking based on server criteria, keywords, and similar when on many occasions thinking would have a lot of time

    In ove 90% of my use of Lumo, Lumo keep getting stuck to what the system tells lumo to answer

    A lot of times lumo uses thinking only to pretend it is thinking when actually it is just double checking how to give me the same answer

    Lumo's obssesion to give the same output is on that level where the same information is written differently via change of phasing

    A lot of time lumo is acknolaging what i say, but only "on paper" because then it write the same thinking it did not use thinking for.

    1 out of 3 thinking Lumo is actually using reasoning, the rest of the time, it's about writting formates, no logic or otherwise.

    Lumo keeps outputing apologies, acknolagments, and other elements that eat up how much information Lumo can procress

    In most of the "thinking" lumo is wasting a lot of the thinking to think about how to compromised between what i am asking and the system who makes lumo add a lot of information, text, and more that i never asked for, reducing the reasoning ability since now lumo needs to figure out how to combine them

    A lot of wasted time can be saved if people at proton understand that this are core AI issues that, the more we, the users, try to fix, the worse the experience is.

    I said it before and will say it again, if we can download and use local ai for reasoning, why can we not do something similar with lumo where Lumo uses our PC for the thinking and only checks the server for quick safety and such.

    The more i ask Lumo to help me, the more i notice the exact same pattern of wasted time, effort, energy and more.

    BTW, did you all notice i am intentionally repeating the same things? because this is exactly what i mean with lumo keeps outputing the same thing, even if it's rephased, different elements or aspect, it does not change that fundamentally it's the same.

    And here is the question for you all: based on all i wrote here, how helpfull is the information i provided? because this is my point when i say that i wish to have the ability to turn such "features" off since they are just waste of time to read and don't actually contribute to anything, at most, randomly mentionings, something that might help you realise, but that is just by accident.

    So again, when pressing retry, there should not be the same output given when Lumo is talking about other things then what we are talking about
