Israel Holidays?
Add Israeli Holidays. I live in the US but we keep the major feast days. I was surprised Israel was not in the list.

Ability to Delete Calendar Entries Locally from Subscribed External Calendars
I would love the ability to delete calendar entries locally from my subscribed external calendars.
For example, if I have subscribed to a calendar via a URL, but one of the entries is not interesting to me, I want the ability to delete this entry from my calendar view so that it doesn't clutter my calendar space.

Get Text rather than email notifications of items on calendar.
I am getting email notifications of events on my calendar, and text would be more helpful as a second option.

add more calendar views; workweek, next 4 days
I would love to be able to see only my workweek (hide the weekend) so I can see more detail on the calendar. The weekend should be customizeable.

Moving event on timeline / change time by draging.
Moving an event on the calendar. If you want to change only the time range of an event, a confirmation window appears. This is unnecessary and annoying.
It should be possible to manually move the event, including changing the event duration.4 votes -
Remove an imported .ics file from calendar again
It should be possible to remove an imported .ics file from calendar again. This is not possible today!
I have by fault importes a .ics file into my calendar. Now it is not possible for me to remove it again. This is a mess. The only think i can do is to delete my complete calendar and start al over again.1 vote -
visual layering of concurrent events in calendar (similar to Google Calendar)
One feature for viewing in proton Calendar that would be helpful is to allow events that occur simultaneously to display on top of one another, vs simply side by side. Such a feature would allow concurrent events to remain readable in week view.
An example of the type of layering referred to can be seen below:

Suggestion for Calendar Email Notifications: Include the specific title of the event
The subject line of calendar email notifications should include the specific title of the event, rather than using a generic phrase like “Reminder: event starting...”. This makes it immediately clear what the reminder is about.
When I receive 5–10 reminders per day via email, all of these emails look exactly the same in my inbox. I have no overview of which reminder refers to which event. It’s extremely confusing. Even when I open the email, I have to search for the event title first. That doesn’t make much sense.

Eable easy downloads
Downloading to my Windows or Android is almost impossible. Specially after the first time doing it. Was never able to do it on Android and it is next to impossible to do it (say weekly) to Windows
In addition it should be possible to use it offline.3 votes -
Preserve All properties when Importing Calendars
I feature I love about Proton Contacts is that any properties that Proton doesn't support still get preserved e.g. Apple-specific stuff (
X-APPLE-...:
) for contact posters. This makes it very useful for backups and reducing lock-in as I don't have to worry about losing any data. The same does not occur with Calendars, e.g. if I set any
CATEGORIES:
on an event, import, then export, the export does not contain it in the VEVENT entry anymore so presumably it's not been imported in the first place.5 votes -
The month is static when scrolling between months
When on the Proton Calendar on Android, when on the month view and scrolling left/right (so scrolling to the months before when travelling left or the months after when travelling right), the month name at the top stays the same. This doesn't change with the month represented below when scrolling and is confusing, as I'm on "April" right now but have scrolled months into the future (or the past).

Fewer steps to edit notifications
To edit the (badly chosen and not configurable) default notification times, too many steps are needed. First you have to delete the defaulted values, then on a separate page select time and method. If you want more than one notification you have to search for the notification field and repeat the task. It's too much jumping back and forth for simple situations. I suggest: 1) Make it possible to register your own most common notifications and 2) Make it possible to select them directly without leaving the notification settings field, using a drop down. Each pre-set should allow more than…

Shared calendar as default
My spouse and I use one shared calendar (currently on iCloud). It is a shared family calendar that we both have set as the default calendar for new appointments.
In Proton Calendar you can share a calendar and edit the shared calendar, but you can't set that shared calendar as your default. Big miss for us and a reason not to switch to Proton Calendar yet.

Split the « Agenda » view into two consecutive separate views: Month view followed by the daily view in list form
I still can't use Proton Calendar as my default
calendar because of one particular irritant: the Month view.First of all, I would have liked to have the option in the settings to remove the grid that surrounds each day of the month, which I don't find very aesthetically pleasing.
Furthermore, the week numbers should be displayed smaller, for example, in the top left corner of the first day of each week. Otherwise, the week numbers are too large and compress the text written in each day.
Finally, I find that when clicking on a date from the "Month" view,…

Ask before importing duplicate events
When importing an .ics file it automatically creates all events. It would be useful to skip events that already exist or to update them. This way we don't have unnecessary duplicate events.
