Add indicator to monthly calendar view
Currently the mobile version of Calendar shows an indicator in the monthly view of all days having activities scheduled. This doesn't exist in the web view which requires viewing each day to see if you'll have a conflict scheduling a new one. It can be very time consuming and raises a strong possibility of conflicting appointments.

Please provide some more colours for calendar categories. Specifically an ochre/mustard yellow and some shades of grey.

Editing a recurring event in a series should only update the touched fields on other events
Steps that cause my problem
1. Creating a series of recurring events
2. Change the time of one, apply only to this event
3. Change the description of one, apply to allStep 3 will override changes made in step 2, which is unexpected behavior. I only touched the description, so why are the time and date of all the other events also touched? As someone who edits a lot of recurring events this is a must have before I can switch from gmail.

Make timezone dropdown configurable/removable. The space would be better used for day/week/month buttons instead of a clumsy dropdown.
I don't have use for a timezone changer at all.
It just takes up space, which I'd rather use for the choices I use the most: switching between day and month views. Now I have to do it via dropdown, which is clumsier and more time-consuming than it should be.
Also, there are still no hotkeys to anything in Proton Calendar? Why not?

Fully share all subbed calendars in Duo
Just upgraded to Duo, dedicated Calendar user for 2 years, have feature request: make "sharing calendars" work for all subbed calendars (external ones e.g. from dentist, physio URLs that I subbed to...Previously we shared login and saw everything each other is doing, now with Duo I had to manually copy all those 9 URLs to Standard Notes app (also with shared login), and thereby add them to partner's account. Would be convenient for others if this just happened with "Share calendar"

Swipe to change views on mobile app
Problem:
Currently you need to go to the menu to change from monthly/weekly/daily view, which is not very fluid if you want to change views back and forth quickly.Solution:
As the up/down swipe is not being used this could be used to change between those views. For navigating quickly you could then swipe up to zoom out to month or year view and then swipe down to zoom in to the week or day you want.1 vote -
Option to hide all-day events in widget
It would be great if you could hide all-day events in the calendar widget. If I have my vacation blocked out in my work calendar, I don't need to see that at the top of the widget every day.

Reminder matrix
This idea is kind of already been suggested, but not quite. I have a small company and wish to use the calendar functions to help myself, new employees/subcontractors incorporate or build habbits with reminders. And I just need some added feilds to do so. For instance some clients wish billable activities to be recorded every so often by specific apps or methods. This could even be expanded for school schedules etc
-Minute Frequency
-Start/stop for specific time frames and dates. Examples: Not on weekend or holidays, add custom
- open app promptIts possible these already exist in outher ways…

Can the calendar email reminder of an event describe the actual calendar item, not just be a generic reminder. Thank you
When a calendar event issues an email reminder, the email does not descibe what the reminder is actually for, so you have to then take extra steps to open the calendar and see. If the email notification could contain the details of the calendar item itself, then the extra steps would not be required.

Improve workflow with context menu
Using Proton Calendar can be made faster and more intuitive by allowing as many basic actions as possible to be completed without context menus and confirmation prompts. See below for the full explanation.
Allow event duration to be modified by dragging event extremities.
Allow more granular control over event duration, in 15/10/5 minute increments.
Allow an option to disable confirmation prompts when making changes by dragging/extending events.
The Proton Calendar can be very slow and old-fashioned. Making changes requires opening a menu and confirming changes. Even after the context menu, saving the changes takes a few moments. This makes planning…

Calender colours should be more (red-green) color blind friendly
The current colors for the different calenders are very hard to differentiate for reg-green color blind persons. It would be nice if you could also support brighter colors or the possibility to add custom colors.
I currently have the possibility between blueish colors and greenish colors that are all quite hard to differentiate.1 vote -
Disable notifications for hidden calendar
Look at "Other calendars" in the Calendar app. If I have not checked the checkbox on a "other calendar", then its events are not visible in my Calendar screen. Yet I still get notifications for the events in the hidden calendar.
I've turned off notifications for my Calendar app to avoid this problem. Using Android.

Larger WeekDay Letter IDs Android
Make the Day-of-the-week letter abbreviations for the column headers slightly bigger and bolder as compared to calendar date #s.
Right now the letters SMTWTFS are a sort of a light grey & they get lost.
Maybe the number size is reduced slightly and letters increase slightly.

Collapse Left Sidebar/Nav
The right menu/sidebar can be hidden or collapsed. However, the left one stays permanently. On smaller screens, this takes up valuable real estate that could display the main calendar instead.
When collapsed, the new event button could move over to the top of the screen in the main calendar area (or just move it there permanently).

Events in iOS Proton Calendar app going until midnight show up as half hour event
Hi,
So I've been using the Proton suite for a few months now, but I've come into an issue. When I add any event (doesn't matter if created on desktop, web or iOS), then in my iOS Calendar app it show the event as only a half hour event, rather than the full block until midnight.
Is this something that could be fixed? I regularly work shifts until midnight and I already forgot to go to work once, because I didn't see a big block in my agenda like I'm used too. Thanks

Calendar Notification for Sharing Feature
I made separate calendars, one for myself and another for my family.
When I turn on notification by email, the notification is only sent to the calendar owner's email, no message notification is sent to the email of other members in the calendar.
Let's say I have three members in the shared calendar, I will receive four email notifications (one for me and three for my friends all sent to my email).
The notification emails should have been sent to each of the registered emails.this is quite strange!
Please consider this improvement.7 votes -
Add support for addy.io (and other email forwarding services)
I use addy.io for email forwarding for privacy reason. Used it before switching to proton so I still don't use simplelogin.
When I get a calender invite, if I click "Show in Proton Calender" on my email, I get a popup that says "You email is not on the participant list" because it is not my protonmail address. I am forced to download the ics file and then import it. It would be nice if there was an option to bypass this warning and import the event in one click2 votes -
Double-click to Edit Event
Like Google Calendar, et. al., it would be nice if double-clicking an event would open its details for editing.

Toggle "helping" make schedules
Currently, it tries to force a task into 30 minutes, 1 hour blocks, and starting at 12:00, 12:30 etc. But I want the option for it to not override the values I put in because I have to fight with it to do what I want it to do. So basically, I want there to be a switch in the settings that stops it from trying to help me make the schedule, because I know what I want, and it's not what it think I want.

Delete calendar event in IOS from an invitation
Delete calendar event in IOS from an invitation
I can delete a calendar event from my laptop but not on my iPhone. This situation is when someone has sent me a calendar invite.
When I have created my own event, I can easily delete this in IOS or on my laptop.
