Enable a way to identify a calendar containing events
I want to reassign and update/edit all the events that I brought over from my old Yahoo calendar. I THINK I have updated them all, but I am not 100% sure. How can I tell if that calendar is now empty (before I delete it)?

Add sub-calendars or Create a tagging for events
Take a look at TeamUp (www.teamup.com) for how they have calendars with sub-calendars.
Would be nice to have a tagging or sub-calendars function in the calendar for superior, fine tuned organization.
For instance, I can create a single/master calendar "Family" and then tags/sub-calendars "kid 1", "kid 2", "kid 3", "wife", etc.
Then events will be "family:kid 1", etc. and can be search isolated by tag/sub-calendar
When sharing the master calendar, it would include all events of its related tags or sub-calendars. This will simplify calendar sharing (instead of sharing 5 separate calendars, only have to share 1). But…

Import Google Meet details from Google Calendar
Google Calendar events may have (proprietary?) meeting details, in my case specifically about Google Meet, that currently seem not get imported.

Bulk editing of events to new/existing calendars
Select any number(shift click, shift drag) of events and move them to a custom calendar.
Another usefull bulk operation is moving the selected events by an amount of hours/days/weeks.
Bulk deletion is also usefull but with a context window warning, which might save people some headaches.13 votes -

Modify single event in recurring series *when there are other participants*
Currently, in Calendar Beta, I have a recurring series that includes 1 other confirmed participant. If I want to modify one event in this series, the change has to be applied to all events in the series. I am aware that this problem has been resolved for recurring events that do not have other participants. Please make it so that the modification of a series is always the same, whether or not there are participants.

Show more events per day in month view on iOS
Month view on iOS on smaller phones (iPhone 8) now only allows to display two events for each day.
Google Calendar, in comparison, shows up to four, which is much more practical.The month view should be optimized for practicality:
- the day numbers and its margins are unnecessarily large. They should be reduced to a minimum.
- the space at the top of the screen can be optimized as well. There's quite a large gap between the name of the month and the actual calendar grid. This blank space should be minimized so that the space for events is…3 votes -
Ability to select multiple days "all day" - eg vacation
I would like to be able to select multiple "all days" to indicate a vacation, conference etc. At present (I may be wrong) I need to do this manually for each day.

Suggestions based on previous events
When creating a new event, I would like to have suggestions based on previous created events. That should include Title, Colour, Notifications and all the other things you can add to the event.
I currently use the Samsung Calendar application (where this feature already exists) and maybe I will move to the Proton one if they implement this. It's such convenient.

Clone event between calendars
When I set private event (i.e. doctors appointment) in private calendar A, I would find very helpful an optional checkbox that copies just the time frame of that event to calendar B, public or private.

Give me the option of turning OFF Todoist tasks shown at the top of the calendar
I love that I can now integrate my Todoist app with the Proton Calendar. However, the calendar gets very busy with date-specific tasks shown at the top along with the all-day listings. I would like the option of seeing only tasks that have both time and date elements. Time and date tasks should appear only in the appropriate time in the calendar day and week views.

Pleaae provide option for custom color for weekend days (like Saturday and Sunday), so that it became more convenient/eye-catchy for distinguish working days and weekends. It will be more office and business friendly calendar then.

Private invites
I couldn't find this in the list of existing posts. When we send out a meeting invite, we'd like to be able to manage it as a group of recipients but those recipients should only see their individual invites. We don't want recipients to see the entire email list.
We could hide it behind a mailing list but then we can't see who has accepted the invite and who rejected it.

Allow line breaks in the Description field of a calendar entry in the iOS app
On both mobile and desktop the web interface of Proton Calendar allows the Description field of a calendar entry to have multiple lines. In the iOS version of the Proton Calendar app the Return button does not appear on the on-screen keyboard when editing the Description, preventing the user from entering line breaks. The iOS app does allow a user to view multi-line text that has been entered using the web interface. Hide weekends
It would be great to hide Saturdays and Sundays so you can only see the 5 business days; this will remove a (maybe) unused space and bring more space for mobile apps.
(I think this is good for work calendars.)
