  2. Notes, To-do lists, Task's

    Notes, Task, to-do list, is essential in any calendar.
    Mandatory in Proton Business.
    This is the only way to make Proton Calendar a real alternative to Outlook.
    They can and must improve.
    Much appreciated.

  4. Shared calendar as default

    My spouse and I use one shared calendar (currently on iCloud). It is a shared family calendar that we both have set as the default calendar for new appointments.

    In Proton Calendar you can share a calendar and edit the shared calendar, but you can't set that shared calendar as your default. Big miss for us and a reason not to switch to Proton Calendar yet.

  5. Color labels/categories in calendar

    We just started using the ProtonMail calendar, but notice there is no way to color code events/categories such as we had in Outlook/Google calendars. It would be helpful to have this feature included to easily identify the type of event at a glance.

  6. Import ics on mobile

    Having the Proton Calendar Android app register as a handler for .ics-files and importing them would be a huge productivity boost.

    Right now, I can either import them via the web interface or create them manually, none of which suffice of the go.

    I know you can add multiple reminders to calendar events, but it would be nice to be able to "snooze" a reminder for various lengths of time.

  8. Configurable range of viewable hours/configurable time scale

    Currently, I have to scroll in order to reliably see all my daily events (viewing using a 13" screen). Having the ability to view all hours from 1:00 A.M to 11:00 P.M is redundant (many people aren't going to be scheduling events within that entire range) and adds extra noise to the UI. It would be considerably more useful to have the ability to set the range of viewable hours (eg 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM) instead. Would also be useful if the entire calendar could be scaled to the available viewing area instead of having the user scroll to…

  9. Biometrics lock for Calendar iOS and Android mobile apps

    All Proton services are intended and optimized for privacy, why not have the apps locked with fingerprint lock/Face ID..... to avoid others from opening our apps (e.g seeing private sensitive events).

  10. video call integrations should hold up to privacy standards of proton

    "Zoom has been criticized for its privacy and corporate data sharing policies, as well as for enabling video hosts to potentially violate the privacy of those participating in their calls." From Wikipedia.

    There are plenty open source and privacy conscience alternatives!

  11. National holiday support for more countries

    There are so many countries that doesn't have national holidays support including MAJOR COUNTRIES (ex. Japan, South Korea, Singapore...)

    Also we want national holiday in local languages names not only in English.

  12. Dark icon for iOS 18

    The icon of Proton Calendar does not yet have a dark version, as introduced in iOS 18. Proton Mail, VPN and Pass do have dark mode icons at the moment of writing this feature request.

    Proton Calendar has been out since December 2019. When will an IOS version be available so as to sync both. That is the only thing prevent me from using Proton Calendar.

  17. Add field to mark appointments as free, busy or tentative.

    Calendar events/appointments need a field to mark the appointment as free, busy, or tentative. This is needed to support scheduling as free and tentative appointments will not block out availability times.

  18. Option to show calendar title event in email notification

    Proton Calendar email notifications currently do not show the title of the calendar event (e.g. Reminder: event starting on Friday, March 4 (all day)). When emailing to the companion Proton Mail account, the email notification should include the calendar subject (e.g. Reminder: Jimmy's Birthday, Friday, March 4 (all day)).

  19. Reorder calendars (manual/custom and sortings)

    An ability to rearrange/reorder the calendars.

    It could be a small [A–Z] button with options like Alphabetical, Event count, Recently used, and Custom (which stores the manual sort order). Beside the button, an arrow button to inverse the sort ordering.

  20. Sync Calender & Contacts beween Protonmail and Nextcloud

    I am a dedicated Nexcloud user (encrypted, 2FA secured & setup on my own private VPS) and I am using Nextcloud to sync contacts and calender between different devices and clients: Android, Linux, MacOs, Thunderbird. It would be very nice if there was a way to setup sync between my Nextcloud and my Protonmail account as well. Until this can happen I will not use the Protonmail calender (too much effort).

    Only because it is necessary I manually update my contacts between my Protonmail account and my Nextcloud. This is a bit of a hassle though...
