Add 'search' to web app
There should be definitely, and fast, a "search" option in Proton Calendar.
One has to be able to find a word, a name, an address etc, instead of going back searching day-by-day this item.
Search is now available in the web app: https://proton.me/support/calendar-search

This would help me so much, is the only reason I haven't changed from Google Agenda

Only this feature is blocking me changing from Google Agenda to Proton Agenda

This should absolutely be an option.

Agree with Alecos; I have totally moved away from google and need the search function to ensure essential items in the future are in my proton calendar. Really like the minimalist Spartan features of existing proton calendar for laptops and beta in android phone. Keep it simple. Left Calengoo as well due to just tooooooo many features & functions that need a Road Map to find again. I'm a paid subscriber and will eventually increase my subscription plus add a VPN. Keep up the great work.

The search function for Calendar is very important for the user who paid for your product.

I've missed that feature from other calendars as well, but wouldn't that mean the entire calendar would have to be unencrypted in order for it to be searched? That might be more than Proton wants to risk, since their policy is end-to-end encryption.

There should be a searching function for calendar entries.
So for instance I can check more quickly on which days my empoyees had holidays. -

it's really not ready for prime time without a search function....

This and sharing calendars should've been a given.

I use this function a lot on Google calendar, if I switch I'll now have to maintain two calendar apps.
WORKAROUND: share your proton calendar with your Google/Outlook/Cal of your choice and use the search function on there.

I would like to see a search function in both the desktop and mobile phone calendars.

So much missing the search function. Am I really expected to click through years of appointments and look for items myself?

It's amazing how a search function isn't in the calendar yet. This really is a basic requirement

I too am frustrated at the lack of movement is implementing a search feature on the Calendar. It's not even flagged as "planned" yet.
Please make this a priority! -

This is a VERY basic necessity and an oversight from the development team. I just subscribed to a paid version for calendar features, sharing, and not having a search is a major issue.

Recent arrival from the G***** debacle with the "free forever" accounts that weren't free forever. If I'm paying for it, I may as well pick an option that attempts to preserve my privacy, which brings me here.
The android apps for calendar don't show event names in month view like the desktop app, and without a search function, it becomes really tedious to find out when you scheduled an event far in the future, say a dentist or doc appointment. You literally have to page through each day. I can see that this is currently in beta. I question if the lack of a search pushes it into alpha territory, but I sincerely hope that this is on the way and is only taking so long because the proton team is committed to doing it right.
