Add details to Email event reminders
Please add the actual name of the event and its details to the email notification.
I was excited to have the email notification option added, which was the last thing keeping me from switching completely from Google. However, the email notifications themselves are disappointing, as they don't even say what the event is, so I have to open my calendar separately to see. I keep the notifications in my email as a reminder and delete them when I'm done, and I need to know what the actual reminder is for without having to open the calendar.

Work on this feature request is underway, starting with iOS.
🗓️ A new calendar invite widget shows the main event info in all emails that contain event invites. Tapping on it takes you to the #ProtonCalendar app directly from your inbox.

The emails just mention that there's an event coming up and the body of the email has a link to the event. Reminders like these are useless.
I know that proton is all about secrecy and privacy, but for those of us who aren't spies or political dissidents it would be great to at least have the option of having actually useful information included in the emails.

Email notifications for calendar events were the feature I was always hoping for, but the text of the notification doesn't seem to mention what the event is about. If it could have that text near the beginning it would be much more helpful I think, without having to open the notification to read the whole thing. Thanks!

Yes, please!

The current email notifications are very annoying without the title of the event. The whole point of email reminder is to remind me, not to leave me guessing.

event title does not show up anywhere in Proton Mail iOS app or in Mac Mail. That would be a super great addition.

I actually submitted a new suggestion for probably the same thing:
Though I precised it is the title of the email that lack information. The content of the email is, as of today, quite complete.
Like Stephen Brown mentioned, "The Calendar Email Notification Subject Line should reflect the Calendar Event Title line".

I suggest using the event names as notification emails title, for instance:
- "Event: Picnic in the park".
- "Reminder: Picnic in the park".And maybe with appended time information, for instance:
- "Event: Picnic in the park (in 1h 20m)".
- "Reminder: Picnic in the park (in 1h)".
- "Reminder: Picnic in the park, at 11:30 (GMT+2) on Thursday, April 7"Currently, the title force users to open each email individually until they find the event they are looking for to read the event details for insance. This is how current email titles look like:
"Reminder: event starting at 11:30 (GMT+2) on Thursday, April 7"

Another upvote from me, too. A simple functionality that would make PM Calendar so much better.

I agree with Nate 100%.
Referencing the example on your website at: https://protonmail.com/support/knowledge-base/calendar-email-notifications/.
The Email Reminder Subject Line in your example:
"Reminder: event starting at 11:00 (GMT+0) on Thursday, November 25"
Would instead read
"Reminder: THE BIG PARTY! starting at 11:00 (GMT+0) on Thursday, November 25"
In other words: The Calendar Email Notification Subject Line should reflect the Calendar Event Title line.
Also when the Reminder Email is opened it should then show the details of the Calendar Event from the event Description Section of the calendar event or meeting. -

I'm delighted Proton Calendar now sends email notifications. I'd be more delighted if I could see the event title in the Proton Mail Android app. The event title shows up in the desktop email but the mobile app only tells me I have an event and provides a link to view it in the calendar.
