  1. Link to Map in notification in Android Calendar App

Same as in Google Calendar - the upcoming event notification has a link to a map. Clicking on that Android gives you a choice of which mapping app to use to open it.

  2. Sharing calendar with Google Calendars without details to protect privacy

It would be great to have an option to share a calendar without the details such that it is only possible to see which time slots are busy.

I have to use Google Calendar for work. For myself and my colleagues it is important to see in my work calendar when I am available. It does not matter if certain time slots are occupied by work related or private events. Therefore my private events need to be in my work calendar. However, for privacy reasons I would prefer if I don't have to reveal the details of my private events…

  3. Show colored dots and indicators to help keep users aware of out of sight events

With a consumer desktop resolution, the maximum events I can see per box in Month view is three. Any extra items are displayed as a clickable "# more" text.

It would be useful if those, for example three, hidden events could be displayed as three colored dots, either instead of, or next to, the "3 more" text.

This would make it much more convenient to spot any events that cannot be displayed due to the limited space. For example, important events which I and many use a bright/shouty color for, such as red, would remain spottable in Month view instead…

  4. My "mobile" device is a 10" tablet - need better format options

Just installed Cal on my Android tablet. There is no option for a week view even though tablet works fine for that view. Also should allow landscape view if tablet is rotated. The month at the top takes up too much room. Provide a menu option to show month.

I am moving away from Google, but my old calendar app Calengoo is excellent in terms of view options. It has too many other options but take a look at its views.

    Thanks!

Also need search option, recurring events, ability to change reminder time. You may already have some of these.

  5. Select Calendar when accepting an invitation in ProtonMail

When I receive an external invitation in Proton Mail, it is automatically added to Proton Calendar when I accpt it.

I'm using multiple calendars (for my different clients) and I cannot choose in which calendar it should be added. I then need to open the event in the calendar and modify it.

Is it possible to add this option when accpting an invitation ?

  6. ProtonCalendar app "Go to Date" feature

A feature that many calendar apps have is a "Go to date" search feature allowing you to go to a specific date rarher than needing tl continually scroll or swipe to get to a specific month and year. This feature, I feel, is a must.

  7. Proton Calendar - edit specific event (from a repeating events)

When I have an event that is repeating itself, I want to change a specific event from the repeat.
    For example:
event named work that repeating all days of the week from 8am to 3pm.
In a specific date work is until 1pm just once, and I cant change it right now..

  8. ProtonCalendar - an opportunity to mark (done) events

today a event "grays out" when time has passed even if it is done or not.

I would like an opportunity to mark different status on a event i.e tick off when done.

And perhaps an arrow for postponed events, a exclamation mark for important and so on.

  9. AnonAddy/SimpleLogin style aliasing from PM

I have been using AnonAddy for a while and it has been amazing. I love the idea of hiding my personal email address and only giving out random aliases out. I have a custom domain on PM and I have another one for the aliases on AnonAddy, this way, even if someone tries to pry on the domain name itself, they will not have much luck.

Now, I have loads of apreciation for the amazing features Proton Industries are working on. Drive will be great if it can compare to Tresorit or other equally trustworthy companies. I use the contacts…

  11. Week Number - allow user to choose week one

I plan based on financial year, not calendar year, so an option to show week number 1 as first week in April would be beneficial. "Week one" can vary in different scenarios so rather than limit the options, leave it for the user to set their week one start date.

  12. Better support for tablets

I'm using a Galaxy Tab S7 and I love the Samsung calendar app, however would really like to switch to Proton Calendar. However it is just not made to be usable on a tablet. I would like to see:

    • Support for landscape view
    • Formatting choices to enlarge/shrink the week/month view
    • Support for S Pen, iPencil, etc
    • See notes written with S Pen on the tablet when viewing the calendar through the web

  13. Add event visibility

    Hello Protonmail team,

I suggest to implement event visibility :
    * private
    * public

It could be useful when sending ICS to external calendars.

    Regards from Paris !

  15. Android Widgeds

Widgets for the Android Calendar and Mail App would be very nice.
Widgets like the standard ones for Calendars and Mail with the ability to make the background transparent.

  18. Accept calendar invites without sending answer to sender

I redirect mail from various inboxes to my ProtonMail inbox, and some contain calendar invites. Since I would like to migrate and use ProtonCalendar as my main calendar, it would be nice to be able to accept calendar events without sending a reply to the sender so they don't see my ProtonMail address. I would think that many people are in the same situation.

  20. Highlight working hours when looking at day/week layout

Add a slight color difference to the day/week layout for configurable working hours
    Example
Setting: Highlight working hours [X] <- checkbox
    --Start work time (8am)
    --End work time (5pm)
--Workdays: M Tu W Th F Sa Su <- Highlight work days

Results: Time between these hours have lighter background color
Times outside these hours have darker background color

Events colors should NOT be affected by what time they are, only background
