  2. Fantastical input method

    Give us the capability to input data like in the fantastical Calendar app: haircut, 16 december at 16:25 it creates an event on 16 december 2023 at the correct time( with a custom duration) . Just try Fantastical once. Like we are talking with an assistant.

    A biometric or pin lock to keep events in the iOS calendar private is critical, without a lock the app is completely unusable

  4. Enhanced import and export

    Add Calendar support to:
    1. import events and whole calendar using ics and cvs as two examples either in clear text or encrypted.
    2. export events/calendars in clear text and/or encrypted (password / OpenPGP public key(s))

  5. Different notification tone for calendar

    I'm not sure if this is just an Android thing, but I can't change the notification tone for the Calendar. It's the same as my text message alert.

    Is there something that can be done to add an option to change the notification tone?

    Even better would be to have a different tone for each calendar, so I knew which calendar was pinging me. Because when they're all the same tone I just tune them out. Stuff that's critically important could have a very distinctive tone, that way I make sure I always check them straight away.

  6. Custom color for weekend days (like Saturday and Sunday)

    Pleaae provide option for custom color for weekend days (like Saturday and Sunday), so that it became more convenient/eye-catchy for distinguish working days and weekends. It will be more office and business friendly calendar then.

    Please make available an embedded link so that I can put my Online and In-person Class Schedule on my website. At the moment I'm using Google for this and would like to use Proton.

  8. Have the icon in iOS for iPhone show the current day and date of the month.

    One thing that is nice about Apple's Calendar app for iPhone is that it displays the current DAY and DATE of the month. This is a nice feature as you can simply glance at the icon, without opening the app to know what the date is.

  10. Option for contacts to have birthdays and anniversaries added to calendar

    I would like to just check a box near the birthday or anniversary box in a person's contact info to have that event pop up in my calendar as a recurring "all day" annual event. And if I uncheck the box, the calendar deletes the entry.

    Google Calendar events may have (proprietary?) meeting details, in my case specifically about Google Meet, that currently seem not get imported.

  12. In Your Face Reminder Option

    I am terrible at setting reminders on my phone calendar and then just not noticing when the notification arrives until it is too late. How about a notification that won't stop until you do something? More like an alarm. There is an app that does this for Mac (no phone versions), but I have never seen that as an option in an actual calendar app.

  13. Create a set of configured alerts

    I would like to create a set of pre-configured alerts. For example:

    • Quick Reminder alert: 15 minutes before the event, push notification only.
    • Breakfast Reminder alert: 9am on the day of the event, push notification only.
    • Super important alert: 9am on the day before the event, both push and email notifications.

    In this way, I can select an alert from my favourite set instead of manually inserting information every time.

    Plus, I can modify an alert configuration, and it will relay changes to all the corresponding event.

  15. import events repeating in time

    In order to be able to switch to Proton Calendar, I should be able to import events repeating in time, which I have already entered in Apple Calendar. Currently, these are ignored when importing.

  16. Modify single event in recurring series *when there are other participants*

    Currently, in Calendar Beta, I have a recurring series that includes 1 other confirmed participant. If I want to modify one event in this series, the change has to be applied to all events in the series. I am aware that this problem has been resolved for recurring events that do not have other participants. Please make it so that the modification of a series is always the same, whether or not there are participants.

  17. Overwrite single event notifications by calendar default

    If a calendar's default notification options are changed, an option shall exist to apply the new notification setting to the already created future events, being them one-off events or recurring events (aka series).

  18. Agenda view for widget

    The calendar widget shows the current day only. I'm not such a busy person that I have multiple private appointments per day. What I would need is an agenda view, a list of either the next X events, or a list of all events in the next X days.

  19. Add details to Email event reminders

    Please add the actual name of the event and its details to the email notification.

    I was excited to have the email notification option added, which was the last thing keeping me from switching completely from Google. However, the email notifications themselves are disappointing, as they don't even say what the event is, so I have to open my calendar separately to see. I keep the notifications in my email as a reminder and delete them when I'm done, and I need to know what the actual reminder is for without having to open the calendar.

    Work on this feature request is underway, starting with iOS.


    🗓️ A new calendar invite widget shows the main event info in all emails that contain event invites. Tapping on it takes you to the  #ProtonCalendar app directly from your inbox.

  20. Public holidays – Kazakhstan

    The new feature public holidays feature was fascinating! However, I couldn't find my country on the list and I wish to help resolve this matter.
