Filter to hide Archived emails when viewing Labels
Even tho I have archived an email, it shows up when it has a Label and I select to display all emails with that Label.
I would love a new Filter option so I can display or hide Archived emails when viewing emails linked to a Label.2 votes -
Offline email access
Proton email is great but without offline access to all my emails, I find it too restrictive. Is there any timeline to develop capacity to work offline and sync once connected?

Mail fails to persist read status
Proton Mail sometimes fails to mark emails as read.
Tried opening and closing the email. No change in behavior.
Tried scrolling from top to bottom of the email. No change in behavior.

Addition of "Copy" feature to filter definitions
Currently, filter definitions only facilitate moving an email to another folder. An addition of the possibility to COPY an email to a folder (mutually exclusive of MOVE) would be most welcome. Quite often I wish to retain the original email in the inbox, but additionally auto-copy said email to a specific folder. Perhaps this feature exists already and I have missed it?

Proton Toolbox/Application Hub/Tray
I would like to suggest the introduction of a Toolbox or Application Hub, akin to the Jetbrains Tools.
This Toolbox or Hub would be the central place to manage all Proton applications and guarantee that applications are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Right now I have to open each application separately, am not able to open all applications at launch, cannot revert to different versions, etc. A Jetbrains Toolbox style application could facilitate all these application management features and reduce friction for users.
I've voted for a similar issue before but that issue has since been deleted. Hence I'm creating a…

Improve Proton's Open source development
Proton has two great assets, the privacy respecting side and its Open source orientation.
However, some apps/services still aren't published openly (Calendar app for Android/iOS, amongst others).
So :
1. Make all apps and services open source
2. Activate issues on repositories
3. Invite community to actively participate in the development of the ecosystem
=> Proton apps become more reliable, with faster feature development and availability and it allows for greater transparency and sense of trust from the customers and community.78 votes -
Proton, Startpage-like browser extension and anonymous searching
I would like to see Proton building up on Startpage's idea (https://support.startpage.com/hc/de/articles/4521527855636-Impressum?t=light) and creating Proton infrastructure and browser extension that would allow for anonymous searching/browsing/surfing.

More Proton themes and custom themes!
I feel the Proton services' look and feel quite limiting: only a few themes are available.
It would be great to either have a lot more themes to choose from, they could come directly from Proton as "official themes" or even from users, empowering end users to choose from a very rich set of themes!

Proposal for Hands-Free AI Accessibility for Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing Users
Dear Proton Team,
As you may recall, I previously highlighted the cost barrier for deaf or hard-of-hearing users; this proposal builds on that by focusing on functional, hands-free AI accessibility.
I would like to propose a solution that allows users like myself to interact with AI-driven features entirely through conversation or text commands, without needing to manually adjust settings, navigate menus, or configure workflows. Specifically, I would like the AI to:
…• Automatically create, organize, and manage tasks or outputs based on instructions. • Handle repetitive or complex actions efficiently. • Deliver notifications, summaries, or insights without requiring direct interaction3 votes -
GPG Key Application
Create a new modern PGP Key Management Application. Windows doesn't have very good moderm options. App should be pretty standard compared to most and include right-click context menu options in Windows and/or other OS's. KGPG does this pretty well. https://apps.kde.org/kgpg/
App should integrate with Proton Contacts for central key management.3 votes -
Image Upload for Support Tickets (proton.me/support/contact)
Per information here: https://proton.me/support/zendesk...
My understanding is there is an explicit preference from the Proton support team to use the contact form (proton.me/support/contact) for technical issues.
However, the form does not support any file (e.g. screenshot) upload. In 90+% of cases, this seems to pretty much guarantee additional lag-time and back & forth to address any ticket.
Feature Request: support file (at least image) upload in the contact form.

Accomodation
Dear Proton Team,
I am a deaf user who relies heavily on visual communication tools and AI assistance to read, understand, and compose written content. Lumo’s AI capabilities are essential for me to interact with digital information independently.
However, the current pricing model makes these indispensable features effectively unavailable to many deaf users who cannot afford the additional cost. This creates a disparity in accessibility: a tool designed to aid communication becomes a financial obstacle for the very community that needs it most.
I respectfully request that Proton consider one (or more) of the following accommodations:

Add IPv6 support and AAAA DNS records
By all means continue supporting the legacy standard (IPv4) but please also support the current standard! This seems to be missing from every Proton service?

Allow Lumo to connect to other AI's
With all the AI's coming onboard adding features. Some will specialize in their area. If Lumo is able to connect and utilize those unique areas or features. Why not? allow them to connect?

SaaS version of the CAPTCHA
it would be really nice to have a SaaS version of the CAPTCHA where we could use it in our own websites, like google's reCAPTCHA.

OAutth and other standards service, like Auth0
Proton could create a new product, standalone OAuth + other Authentication and Authorization standards, pretty much like Auth0. This will be a new revenue stream for Proton and I'd argue that a big chunk of it is already in place (or so I hope). This will enable using "Login with Proton" and provide web and app developers with a trustworthy partner to manage Accounting Authentication and Authorization for their apps.
To simplify launch of the service, first version could be for existing paying users to use.6 votes -
