Add a button over attachments to easily add a watermark
Many documents need to be protected to prevent identity theft, adding a button above each attachment to date and name the context will make these documents unusable later, this could considerably reduce the risk of scams after a proton account hack

Add export option - single codes
For work reasons we sometimes need to share single codes to our partner companies.
Since Proton Authenticator only provides the export of all codes it would be nice to have an option where you are able to share only one entry for a better work together.
I appreciate the effort and the proton functions!

Display From address in summary list
In the folder view it only shows the display name on the email address, but this makes it harder to fully identify the source without the domain. For spam safety it helps you spot bogus domain names so you can reject it without looking. For regular emails it helps when someone's display name is just their name; I have to open the email to know if it's from a company I want to communicate with. For source verification it would be even better for it to be the envelop FROM address instead of the From header, but I know that's…

Host Proton Membership Giveaways Events on the Proton Discord Server
Instead of just random giveaways where people click a button and wait, Proton could host fun events on their Discord like message battles, trivia games, or mini competitions. For example, whoever sends the most messages in a set time wins a free Proton membership. These kinds of events boost real engagement & get people talking. It’s more fun, more active, and way better than just relying on luck.
They already have a Discord server & just adding a bot and a channel for events could make a big difference.

Create an option to have a startup options on windows. Make it an option, not default. It would greatly improve program experience.

loyalty card manager
We need a loyalty card manager that can display barcodes and QR codes.
It is not reasonable to provide all our consumption information to third-party applications every time we make a purchase in a store.
This application could be linked to Proton Pass or standalone with a smartphone widget.
It would then replace apps like FidMe or Google Wallet.13 votes -

Anonymous Blog Hosting
Staying anonymous online is the reason that I use Proton products. For people that would like to create a blog for whistle-blowing purposes or for reporting things happening in the workplace is very difficult with existing blog hosting services. Most of the so-called "free" blog sites are either in countries with poor privacy policies or limit the features for a free account. For those of us that do not use crypto, this is a problem. If Proton was to offer a true way for journalists or private citizens a secure way to expose criminality or express opinions without fearing reprisal…

Utilize the Privacy Pass protocol
https://blog.kagi.com/kagi-privacy-pass
https://www.privacyguides.org/articles/2025/04/21/privacy-pass/
Privacy Pass is a protocol that allows people to cryptographically prove they have access to a service without revealing who they are. I think Proton could be able to use this in really cool ways, for example to prevent Proton from correlating Proton VPN activity to users, or to use SimpleLogin aliases without Proton being able to correlate the alias from the original email.11 votes -
Synthetic Card creation (Privacy.com)
Integrating protected cards with Privacy.com or equivalent service would be great to see :).

Apple Intelligence can ask questions to Lumo
Similar to how Apple Intelligence currently has an extension for ChatGPT, there would exist an extension for Apple Intelligence to instead ask the question to Lumo.
This may be more of an ask on the Apple side, but since it would most likely involve both parties, the idea should be broached in both places.

Label selection pop-up in PM app should be sorted
Label order displayed in pop-up when tagging an open mail with a label should be exactly the same as in 'Settings for folders and labels', otherwise you have to read thru many many labels to find the wanted label to tag a mail.
Consequence: If you sort (alphabetically) labels in Settings, labels in pop-up should appear sorted as well.2 votes -

Create Virtual Hosting Services
Would it be in the pipe line to create and offer basic Virtualization service or go into partnership with someone like Digital ocean where we could spin up simple Linux boxes to act as a jump box. (For those with Proton subscriptions)

Adding Arc Browser to Proton’s Privacy-Focused Portfolio
The Arc Browser represents an ideal complement to the Proton ecosystem due to its strong commitment to privacy, security, and innovative user experience design. Built on a Chromium foundation yet differentiated by its privacy-first approach, Arc disables intrusive telemetry and fingerprinting by default, ensuring that user data remains protected and browsing habits uncompromised. The browser incorporates built-in ad and tracker blocking functionality without requiring complex configurations, further reinforcing its dedication to safeguarding user privacy.
Arc’s unique features, such as its vertical sidebar and workspace management system called "Spaces," enhance productivity and efficiency by providing superior tab organization and intuitive navigation.…
