1. Filter to hide Archived emails when viewing Labels

   Even tho I have archived an email, it shows up when it has a Label and I select to display all emails with that Label.
   I would love a new Filter option so I can display or hide Archived emails when viewing emails linked to a Label.

4. Storage one time purchase

   It would be wonderful to have an option to buy storage in proton. So that someone could offload their files from other services like google to totally degoogle their lives. A one time purchase that was separate from your monthly subscription would be great!

5. Stop deleting right away messages without sending a copy to the user with the deletion notification

   I just had two messages deleted by Proton Administrator.
   I get notified by email with this short message : 

   "Hi, please report this through the "Report a problem" option on the app."

   And so... since you deleted my contributions, if I had not by chance corrected their text in my AI chatbot, I would be left without any copy of it and would be forced to re-write them from scratch.

   So a copy of the deleted contribution should be included in the deletion contribution.

6. Presets for docs in drive

   On the app or computer application or as an edit to current online drive.proton.me

   I'd like to see: as i do enjoy using the drive possiblities.
   that i can create a preset for the settings inc. font sizes and font preferences and margin and such. maybe like the dropdown menu on droid where i can edit the options.

9. Proton Mail - Option to permanently collapse mail folders

   I would love to be able to tick a box in the settings to permanently collapse all of my mail folders on login.

   Currently, upon logging in, all folders are fully expanded, but I find it easier to use them collapsed. This is because I have many different folders, and finding the exact one is easier based on the root folder rather than having to look through all the subfolders within the different categories of root folders.

11. Feature Request: Unified Sync & Health Audit Tool for Proton Apps

    First, thank you for your continued work on security, privacy, and open-source transparency. Proton has built incredible trust by consistently investing in external audits and making code available for inspection.

    I’d like to propose a Unified Sync & Health Audit Tool to strengthen reliability across Proton services (Mail, Drive, Pass, Calendar, Authenticator, VPN and etc). While current audits cover security and privacy, there is no integrated way for users to verify that all Proton apps are syncing correctly, consistently, and without errors across devices.

    Problem
    • Users sometimes experience sync delays, failed uploads, or conflicts (especially with Drive and multi-device use).
    • Currently, there’s no central dashboard or diagnostic tool to identify or resolve these issues.
    • Errors may remain hidden until critical data is missing, undermining trust in reliability.

    Proposed Solution: Sync Audit & Health Dashboard

    A cross-service tool that provides:
    1. Sync Status Dashboard – Show real-time sync state for each app, last sync time, and any pending/failed items.
    2. Cross-Device Consistency Checks – Verify that data matches across all devices using integrity checks (hashes/checksums).
    3. Error Logs & Diagnostics – User-friendly reporting of sync errors (e.g., network issues, quota exceeded, conflicts).
    4. Performance Metrics – Provide basic insights on sync speeds and recovery from interruptions.
    5. Optional Notifications – Alert users when sync fails or is significantly delayed.

    Benefits
    • Strengthens Proton’s core value of trust through transparency.
    • Reduces support burden by giving users tools to self-diagnose issues.
    • Improves user confidence in storing and syncing sensitive information with Proton.
    • Differentiates Proton by coupling security audits with functional reliability audits.

    This would not need to expose private content ... only metadata such as sync state, timestamps, and integrity checks ... preserving Proton’s privacy commitments.

    Thank you for considering this feature. A unified sync health tool would greatly enhance the reliability and peace of mind for Proton’s global user base.

    Due to my vision I need to set all my editors to Darl Background & Clear fonts WITH Zoom. Only set as this can I read text,
    This is what I can do for all desktop App, Office, Terminal and Code editor but not Proton Client for desktop,

    I use your web version confired as needed - the only draw back is that CONTACT Search is not as practical as on the Desktop version - which is too bright and hard to very very read for me.

    please, allow some feature on the Body content such as "Display in Text Mode" instead of only HTML/CSS mode as it is by now if I'm not wrong,

14. Opaque distribution of email addresses in Proton Duo plans

    Thank you for this incredible work and these amazing products! I would just suggest to allow an opaque distribution of email addresses in Proton Duo. Actually, new email addresses have to be added through the administrator panel, he's the only one to be able to add email addresses. It could be useful to allow N addresses to an user of the plan, like for the storage and the VPN connections, with no possibility for the administrator to know what are the addresses used by each user.

    Here is an idea,. Remove the CrossApp tracker from proton drive i found today! (BugSnag) pinging from inside proton drive?? A cross app tracker inside a supposed to be encrypted private drive. Its 3rd party data mining, wtf

17. Proton Mobiler Messenger

    Ein mobiler Proton Messenger wäre m. E. eine gute Alternative zu anderen mobilen Messengern wie WhatsApp, Signal oder Signal, die offensichtlich mehr oder weniger Daten sammeln und so auch an Daten von Kontakten gelangen können. In welchem Umfang ist nicht wirklich klar.
    Dabei sollte ein Proton Messenger auch mit anderen Messengern kommunizieren können, wo der Proton Messenger bei der Nutzung automatisch Proton VPN aktiviert. Ich selbst vergesse schon mal das Proton VPN einzuschalten, womit diese Automatik sehr nützlich wäre.

18. Make the slider bar wider and with more contrast

    The slider bar on for example the Proton Pass web app/extension is so narrow and the contrast is terrible. It's like black on almost black. I've noticed this throughout the Proton ecosystem. Seems an easy fix. Double the width and change the colors to contrasting colors. Home run with nearly zero effort. I'm aware this sounds like your grandpa complaining. Now you kids get off my lawn.

    Hi,

    I really appreciate the ability to mute or block individual senders for a given alias in SimpleLogin, it's incredibly useful. I’d love to see a complementary feature: the ability to whitelist specific senders instead.

    Specifically, it would be great to have a "whitelist mode" toggle for aliases, where all incoming messages are muted or blocked by default, and only explicitly whitelisted addresses are allowed through, mirroring the current muting functionality, but in reverse.

    By the way, I think SimpleLogin is absolutely fantastic. It has completely transformed how I manage my digital life across email, newsletters, apps, and beyond. Huge thanks to the team!
