   All the other Proton product do (https://proton.me/legal/privacy). Privacy policies are obligatory in many jurisdictions.

   Btw, in my eyes, the absence of this policy is a sign Proton is moving too fast with too little consideration given to important business decisions.

4. Add event title in the email subject or notification preview instead of generic subject

   I miss the option to directly see the event topic/title in the email subject or notification preview. Today, we only see a generic text and have to open the notification email or the calendar to see what this event is related to. I do not need the detailed information. However, the event title would be extremely helpful in an overbooked calendar.

9. Warn if outgoing message is missing an attachment

   When I click Send in a new Mail message, warn me if the body text refers to an attachment (e.g. "attached is...", "see attachment...", etc.) but there is no attachment.

   (Obviously this would require that Proton scan the body text; not sure if that's something that's prohibited by Proton privacy policies. But the scanning would be done locally, so it shouldn't be an issue.)

10. Multi-platform Contacts Manager for PC and Android

    Contacts management happens on smartphones and most people use the google standard issue app. This raises huge privacy concerns. A Proton alternative could provide similar utility without the privacy issues of Google and could be made such that it syncs with a PC version.

12. Tails OS and Proton AG

    I'll address this as a problem, not an opinion. First, the Proton Pass and Proton VPN Tor (Firefox) extensions don't work at all on Tails OS, and no Linux apps, especially Proton Mail Bridge, work properly (in .deb format). I know Tails OS is a Linux distribution focused on security and high-level privacy, but Proton and its privacy mission are excellently supported. My journalist colleagues and I have been using Proton Mail for a long time, and it's an indispensable service for us. I urge the Proton team to address this issue as soon as possible. If possible, contact Tails OS and request that a repository containing Proton products (using Tor+https) be added to the Snaptic app store. I understand this request will be difficult to accept and may be rejected, but please, please, bring joy to the thousands of Tails users who use Proton for us.

    Similar to apkmirror or aurora store, it could work cross-platform, so we don't have to use Google on Android, Microsoft on Windows, or if one simply wants to explore apps, without border restrictions, it could link the vpn to the store so it doesn't apply changes due to where your Google account is based or geolocation

14. Android Proton Apps in single, verifiable, supported Repository

    Currently Proton makes all of its APKs available via protonapps.com; however it does not make the primary pages for the APKs easy to access or obvious. Additionally, Proton has been previously committed to following a more open-source modelling, publishing to Github. However consistency across Proton Apps is quite poor, and trying to access APKs via this method easily (in essence, as per an RSS feed) is not ideal.

    I note that Proton partially supports alternative with VPN and Pass both on F-Droid. Whilst the GrapheneOS community often has issues with this, it is ultimately up to the user.

    I would recommend that Proton however commits entirely to at least 1 complete solution to allow reliable and clear alternaive access to APKs outside fo the Google Play environment for its entire app suite.

    Any of these would be fine, but it requires fully published and current APK files and the proper support to enable easy tracking and validation

    My personal preference is Accrescent as a more rigorous privacy-centric "storefront", it would seem the missions of Proton overlap with projects like Graphene and Accrescent - and the benefit of the latter is that it would not lock people into Graphene either by default.

17. Secure native integration of Proton services together and with external services (granular consent & scoped tokens)

    Many privacy‑focused users including myself run several Proton services alongside automation platforms such as Make and Home Assistant. Because Proton does not yet expose a secure, granular API, we have to resort to work‑arounds:

    Forward selected Proton Mail messages to a Gmail account.
    Let Make read that Gmail inbox, filter the messages, and then push the extracted data into Google Calendar or other third‑party services.

    As a result, Google (or any other intermediary) ends up with full visibility of the forwarded emails, and Make gains access to the entire mailbox, not just the specific messages we intended to share.
    These steps defeat the purpose of using Proton in the first place, because they expose private communications to external providers and increase the overall attack surface.
    Manually copy‑paste invoices or payment confirmations from Mail into Drive.
    Keep an old Google Mail/Calendar account just to feed third‑party tools.
    Build fragile work‑arounds (CSV exports, external webhooks, temporary storage) that increase the attack surface.

    I'm using Proton Pass for all logins. But to start using it on a new device I have to manually enter my Proton password there. It would be very nice to be able to scan a QR code by already logged in device instead.

    3) Owner should be able to limit access only to some services, like for example Drive or even certain folder of a Drive or Mail. This possibility I have not seen announced in mentioned articles.

20. Search function in Standard Notes

    Add the ability for text search within individual notes in Standard Notes. I have some loooong list style notes and it's very tedious to have to go through manually to check what's in there.
