Proton Drive upload babysitting
Uploading files to Proton Drive on iOS/iPadOS is a chore. Unlike other file management applications, Proton Drive fails to support background transfers.
Worse, Proton Drive requires the user to manually keep the screen awake during the entire transfer. Until you add support for proper background transfers, at least keep the screen awake on behalf of the user. I left a 4 GB upload running overnight and woke up to the progress stuck at the same place I had left it.

Proton Drive iOS / iPadOS integration breakage
When I try to use my Proton Drive to supply files to Google Chrome, then the Proton Drive integration with iOS / iPadOS breaks down.
I'm signed into Proton Drive in Files.
Specifically, it repeatedly reports content unavailable try again.

iPadOS App
As we continue to evolve with the iPad and other tables becoming more and more daily workhorses we are still lagging with the same expanded iOS app for the iPad. We need an option within the app or a new app that allows the side bar to stay on and a better UI for the iPad App. A replication of the webUI would be totally fine (or the same as the Mac App). Hide username and email
I want Proton to remove the username and the email that's on the right side of the "Settings" gear in the mail website so passersby can't see your credentials that easily

Proton Mail: Persist Unread filter
Please stop resetting the preference to view only Unread messages. This happens with all apps, including Web and mobile. The extra taps wear on my hand.

Digital Legacy mechanics
Create a Legacy contact with secure mechanics. The Use Case is that any user can designate another as his/her Digital Legacy, so they can take over and manage one's account in the event of passing away.
A possible approach would be to provide a link for the Legacy user to request access to the account - on such event, the owner would have an x amount of days to respond with a "no need - I'm alive and well". If no response was received within the timeframe, the Legacy user would be granted access to the accounts.1 vote -

Recovery Grid
More of a resource, but I couldn't find a way to request it. If there is a more appropriate place, please let me know.
Considering Proton offers multiple types of recovery (currently Account versus Data), I think it would be a good idea to have some sort of breakdown of what is recoverable between these types of recovery. Understand this may require some conversations and am hoping a few questions below, might help illustrate where I am going.

Access the main Proton page while signed in
I just want to be able to access the main Proton site page while logged in. It is frustrating having to choose a Proton service to go to when I just want to access my account info and explore what is going on with Proton. I always have to have 2 tabs open to do everything I am wanting to do with Proton.

Proton Drive deleted all my Calibre books
Unlike Dropbox, Proton Drive interacts poorly with Calibre.
Initially, I thought I had successfully migrated my Calibre Library from Dropbox to Proton Drive. Thinking everything was okay, I even deleted my Dropbox account. But just a few days later, disaster. 100% of my books are gone. Ten gigabytes of thousands of carefully curated ePUB files. All that was left were empty, useless author folders.
Although Proton Drive claims to support recovering old files within 180 days by default, the option to restore my Calibre Library folder from a previous version failed to appear in the menu.

Duplicate keypasses
Most of the time, when I use Proton Pass keypass 2FA on iOS, then the list shows two copies of the same keypass.
The vault only shows one keypass per login account. I'm not sure why the keypass list shows two so often on use.
