Add event title in the email subject or notification preview instead of generic subject
I miss the option to directly see the event topic/title in the email subject or notification preview. Today, we only see a generic text and have to open the notification email or the calendar to see what this event is related to. I do not need the detailed information. However, the event title would be extremely helpful in an overbooked calendar.

Table colors
Table color request: (hex color #ffffa1). 🙏 I like to insert a task list at the top of draft documents using "legal pad yellow". Don't know why they always seem to use dingy color defaults in document applications. For each document I generate the lighter-brighter colors using the custom colors feature. Ditto for my "happy green" hex color #d3ffd3 .

Move away from Electron apps
Many apps that Proton uses are built with Electron, which are much less secure and much more bloated than native apps

User Voice duplicate ideas causing split of votes
Using this forum, proton's uservoice you can find multiple post requesting the exact same missing feature which makes it difficult to vote. Having eventually the votes for a similar feature request split into many posts and never get enough votes.

"UNREAD" button in mail views for web version
I really like the one push button to view "unread" mails only in the "all mail" view on android. Would be nice if you could also implement that in the web version - in stead of the current drop down menu for that.

Feature Request: iOS Shortcuts & x-callback-url Integration for Proton Apps
I would love to see an integration of iOS Shortcuts and x-callback-url in Proton apps to automate certain tasks and streamline workflows. While I’m not familiar with the technical aspects of implementing these features in a privacy-respecting manner, I believe they could provide significant benefits for power users.
Potential Use Cases:
1. Proton Pass:
• Open a specific entry in Proton Pass via a URL scheme.
• Retrieve login credentials for a specific app or website and auto-fill them via Shortcuts.
2. Proton Mail
• Open a specific email thread by its ID.

As you know by now, LinkedIn is facing a class-action lawsuit in the US related to Unauthorized Data Sharing; Premium subscribers allege that LinkedIn secretly shared their private messages with third parties to train artificial intelligence (AI) models. This represents a clear violation of the Stored Communications Act (SCA), California's Unfair Competition Law (UCL), and is a significant breach of contract.
While LinkedIn has acknowledged this, and in response updated their privacy policy to give users more control over how their data are used for AI training, its an illegal breach of trust and may potentially expose users to privacy…

Android Auto support for Proton Mail
As of today, Proton Mail does not show as an Android Auto app, making it impossible to receive emails notifications in a car.

Icon Indicator for new Mails like Outlook
An indicator on the icon in the taskbar that there are new emails. Just like in Outlook, an envelope appears on the icon in the taskbar to indicate that there are new emails.

Add UserVoice link in all GitHub repositories for easy finding
Just a minor improvement by adding the UserVoice.com URL to the description of repos in GitHub along with an appropriate message to lead users to this platform. Some users will find the Proton GitHub, but not know about the UserVoice, and end up adding email support requests instead, particularly since "Issues" GitHub page isn't public or doesn't exist. This is an easy semi-fix for support requests overload.

Local writing assistant option to use local Ollama server, when available
The built in writing assistant (offline version) is a little … stupid … to say the least. It seems to completely disregard the input language as well, opting to rewrite the entire thing in English.
I wanted to propose that you leave the feature set as is for people who aren't setup with alternatives, but add another option so that we can use our own Ollama server within our network, if available.
I run a variety of llama models locally anyways, so might as well use that (and the http API it provides), opposed to having yet another assistant bundled…

Integrate a Notes app into the Photon Email client
I've been using a notes app for a very long time. Its one of the primary functions of all of my devices.
I started using Keep back before Google bought them. It was a great little app with the potential to be so much more....but Google lost interest in developing it.
A couple years ago, I decided I rely too heavily on Google products and that I would try to de-google. Replacing Google Keep was a primary concern.
I tried a few different apps that were in various states of development. What surprised me was that the interfaces looked ALOT…
