Lumo needs to be a new journal app
I'd love to see Lumo evolve into a dedicated personal journal mode.
I've tried a lot of journaling apps over the years, and surprisingly, the way Lumo already works feels more natural than any of them. The conversational style, thoughtful responses, and ability to reflect on ideas make it a much better experience than traditional journal apps that simply store entries.
What I'd love is an optional Journal Mode that presents conversations as a personal journal rather than a chat. For example:
- Entries organized by date in a journal timeline or calendar.
- A cleaner journal-style layout instead of a messaging…

Proton should purchase “Magic Earth” and convert it into Proton Maps, an open source high-quality maps app
Magic Earth seems to be the best alternative available right now to Apple and Google Maps. The problem? It’s not open source and its privacy claims are not independently verified. Proton should consider offering to buy out the small company behind it, convert the app to Proton Maps, make it open source, and run an independent security audit on it.
The UI design in Magic Earth is already pretty similar to Proton branding anyways. Easy win if Proton can afford it.

Proton Blog for individual users
Yes, there are alternatives: Wordpress, substack, etc... but I want a safe, GDPR ready and European alternative @ Proton to start a blog, just like substack.

add free api to all of your services

Add a Unified Security Center for All Proton Services
It would be great to have a single Security Center where users can monitor all Proton services from one place. The dashboard could display login activity, connected devices, recovery options, security alerts, and personalized recommendations across Mail, Drive, Pass, VPN, and other Proton products.
Having everything organized in one location would make account management simpler and help users react more quickly to any unusual activity. Users looking for information about secure streaming services can also visit https://atlasprofficiel.com/ for additional resources.
This feature would improve convenience while supporting Proton's strong focus on privacy and security.

Privacy-First Accounting/Bookkeeping Module for Proton Workspace
Subject: Feature Request – Privacy-First Accounting/Bookkeeping Module for Proton Workspace
To Proton Product Team,
I am a long-time Proton user and supporter of your mission to build privacy-respecting alternatives to Big Tech. I'm writing to propose a significant expansion of the Proton Workspace ecosystem.
Current Gap:
Proton Workspace currently offers excellent encrypted communication and file storage, but lacks native financial/accounting capabilities. Businesses must use third-party US-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho), creating data leakage points where sensitive financial information is exposed to entities that monetize user data through advertising and third-party sharing.Proposal:
Develop an end-to-end encrypted accounting/bookkeeping module integrated…2 votes -
Address Aliases
First of all, I love the email aliases future, because I'd rather not put my email on every single site I have to sign up for, and it's always as easy as removing the email if I don't want to receive emails from them anymore.
However, a very big issue I have all the time is certain sites that want you to enter your street address. This is especially annoying for sites you don't trust but that you have to sign up for and create an account if you want to make any digital purchase.
This idea came to my…2 votes -
Allow us to pin Files and Folders in Proton Drive
I love Proton Drive, however once you begin to upload more and more files, it becomes more and more unorganized. Folders are helpful, but even they can be hard to find, especially if you use them often. You should allow us to pin both files and folders to the top of our Proton Drive for ease-of-access and better organization, as we might want to keep important documents/photos, or documents/photos that we use all the time, at the very top of our Proton Drive.

Photos: Batch upload .zip files with directory structure used as albums
Currently getting i.e. google takeout downloads to Drive is, uh, sorry, ...not very good. Photos should allow folders upload, not just image file uploads. Please :)

Feature Request: Ability to Rearrange or Drag Custom Fields in Proton Pass Items
Dear Proton Pass Support Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I am requesting the addition of a feature to rearrange custom fields within items in Proton Pass. Currently, there is no option to drag and drop or reorder custom fields (such as Text, Hidden, Date, or 2FA secret fields) after they have been added to an item. New fields are appended at the bottom, and the only workaround is to delete and re-add them in the desired order, which is time-consuming and inefficient, especially for items with multiple custom fields.
This limitation affects the usability of custom items and…

Migrating UserVoice to Quackback
I love that Proton get the community involved for new feature requests but everytime I come here it feels cluttered and filled with duplicates.
New platforms handle duplicates better and Quackback even has a migration tool!2 votes -
Allow keyboard shortcuts to function when the arrow is over the message in the list
Hovering the cursor over a message in the list and pressing the desired shortcut greatly speeds up message management. It's much better than having to select every message before taking action.
If possible, please implement this feature.

Implement Lumo Sidebar in Docs/Sheets (On-Demand Local Decryption) & Launch Proton Slides
Feature Request:
Integrate Proton Lumo as an active sidebar inside Proton Docs and Sheets using the same secure architecture already utilized for Lumo document uploads. Additionally, expand the workspace ecosystem by launching "Proton Slides" with the same integrated AI capabilities. How the Lumo Integration Should Work (Maintaining E2EE):
Zero-Knowledge Architecture: The AI does not read the document in real-time. Instead, the document remains locally decrypted inside the user's browser/app session.
On-Demand Processing: Only when the user explicitly triggers an action in the Lumo sidebar (e.g., clicking "Analyze this document" or "Generate summary"), the locally decrypted text is sent via the…

An immersive simulator game to test our passwords, recovery phrases, 2FA, and other account recovery methods.
It's very common to forget our passwords, with a high chance of never recovering our accounts. I've never lost mine yet, but to help us memorize them, I propose:
In this immersive game, you are locked in a room. Throughout the game, you use your passwords and recovery phrases to escape the room, and of course, everything would be encrypted to use your passwords and phrases.

Isolated Password for Authenticator Sync
Isolated Password for Authenticator Sync
As a security-conscious Proton user who uses the Proton Authenticator App,
I want to establish a dedicated, separate password exclusively for the account sync feature on the Proton Authenticator App,
So that a compromise of my primary Proton account credentials does not automatically grant a bad actor the ability to sync my TOTP seeds to a Proton Authenticator App they control (this assumes the bad actor has also disabled 2FA for the Proton account).Acceptance Criteria (AC)
AC 1: Separate Credentialing
The user can configure an independent "Authenticator App Sync Password" inside the Proton Account…

Gmail connection — option to disable forwarding while keeping send-as, or exclude messages forwarded from Proton
The new Easy Switch Gmail connection (May 2026) bundles two features together: forwarding all incoming Gmail into Proton, and the ability to send/reply from the Gmail address inside Proton Mail. Please make these independently toggleable, or let the forwarding skip certain messages.
My use case: Proton is my primary mailbox, and I keep a Gmail account as a searchable backup archive. A Proton filter forwards everything I recieve that's not from my own gmail to my Gmail. I like the new feature to be able to reply from the Gmail address without leaving Proton.
The problem: the Gmail connection's forwarding…

How do I convert archived MSG emails into PDF for legal documentation?
I have a folder of old Outlook MSG files from a completed client project. Some emails are part of legal communication and need to be saved in PDF format for long-term records. The files include sender details, dates, message body, and attachments. I do not want to open every MSG file one by one and print it manually. What is the safest way to convert MSG files into PDF while keeping the email details readable?
