  1. Don't alter email content or autosend to trash

    Um. Protonmail is now altering the content of my emails by, apparently, allowing only two consecutive spaces? Example, 6 spaces in a row gets reduced to 2. You had one job ... to not alter content ... geez.

    And Drafts are now being autosent to Trash? Huh?

    Gonna have to go back to gmail I guess. What is wrong with you people? 🤷‍♂️ 🤔

  7. Extra password \ PIN requirement when editing anything in the "Recovery" and "Security and Privacy" tabs.

    I'm just in general paranoid about security after my previous gmail account was compromised.
    I feel like the recovery and security tabs are most vulnerable. If users could make a custom pin or password that is different from the standard email password or mailbox password. I would feel more comfortable, I wouldn't want someone to somehow gain access to my inbox then change the recovery or password \ phone number etc or delete \ remove the recovery keys.

    I also feel a bit at unease with the app, because the app does not give an option to change a password,…

  8. E-mail Conversations Borked

    E-mail threads, or conversations, aren't quite working across the board. For instance, when I used Fastmail, the system recognized correctly the e-mails coming from the same "source" and group them together.

    This is not happening correctly in Proton. For instance, some e-mails from LinkedIn are grouped when they arrive on different dates. A similar situation happens for GitHub: when the messages for a given pull request arrive, they aren't grouped together, as if they were from different topics.

  10. Implement Proton's new CAPTCHA on the forums.

    Because the post and reply functions only need a generic login with a term agreement checkbox to login, the Proton feedback spaces are filled with spa. This is a little ironic given the new CAPTCHA you've just pioneered.

  12. Enable contributing to appications' frontend sourcecode in a simple, straight-forward and transparent way.

    As a long-time user of Protons services, Despite these services being great on its own, what I noticed throughout the general opinion, when comparing these to Gmail or Apple is the concession that is given to Proton in terms of features to the great idea of the privacy. I do not buy it, I want it all, and I want it now.

    What do I pay for? I am not an evangelist of privacy if for that privacy I have to sacrifice for my comfort, not because I am superficial, but because I know that both are possible.

    je trouve que vous me manquez de respect en ne vous adressant pas à moi dans ma langue. quand je vais en Allemagne, par respect je parle allemand, quand je vais en Espagne, par respect je parle espagnol et quand je vais dans un pays anglophone, par respect je parle anglais (couramment d'ailleurs !) mon problème c'est que vous participez à imposer une culture qui est celle qui détruit la biodiversité : le capitalisme !

    I would like to have an option for Proton Semi-Premium packet, a low cost version, an economic plan, with a lower price, affordable for everyone.
    Please take in consideration this suggestion and create a plan with a cost of 2-3-4 euro per month.
    I am sure that tens of thousands will choose this kind of paid version

  18. Disable certain e-mail addresses for writing new e-mails

    I use some e-mail addresses just for incoming mails or replying and not for writing new e-mails. So whenever I write a new e-mail I need to select 1–3 out of 15.

    It would be great so you can hide them from the drop-down menu so that it is less cluttered.
