Google Docs Alternative
Now that we have a Drive and Calendar alternative, it would be appreciated to have a Proton alternative to Google Docs that allows for the security the company provides. It doesn't have to be as good or have the exact same features, but having a reasonably comparable version would be great for further removing myself and related material from Google services, while maintaining the ability to edit and create from my phone and store on my Proton Drive. Having a similar sharing ability with public links would also be preferred, but understandable if it couldn't be included in an initial version.

Maybe there could even be a Proton alternative to GitHub. That'd be nice.

Onlyoffice, CryptPad, and Nextcloud Office are three excellent free and open source projects that would be extremely easy to fork and create a Proton productivity suite!

a good reader would be sufficient. I don't see Proton as a full replacement of all the Google Services. I also don't expect Proton to come up with an alternative for Google Maps or Google Photos

So much this. Not being able to sync what I'm editing but needing to download to edit then upload again to share it really impacts workflow across devices.
Also would be great to see Proton be offered by more devices as a syncing option, I didn't really expect Proton Drive to work with my Freewrite or Supernote enote out of the box but it was still disappointing to not have that option at all, since I can't download the Proton Drive app onto them like I can with my Boox enote, but are rather stuck with their default syncing and/or backup offerings like Google if I want or need to use online syncing instead of usb transfers.
Granted syncing stylus note-taking is probably another thing entirely from syncing typing so I'd probably still need to download things into my enotes native platforms for handwriting and editing things in but it would still be nice to have better sync options in general, and maybe consider enotes syncing options as well in the future please?

Absolutely agree. To me this would be a critical improvement. I already have an 'Unlimited' plan (which I use it mostly for email and VPN), and love the user interface of Proton Drive. It looks much cleaner and intuitive than Google Docs and One Drive. But the only reason I'm not yet using Proton Drive, despite having a lot of GB available there, is because I need the 'Docs' feature. If Proton Drive includes this, either as a built in function or as a separate 'Proton Docs' app, then I could definitely make the jump from Google Drive to Proton Drive. As leion247 said, I don't need it to have thousands of features and options, just with having the basic text options would be enough for the start.
