   Agree with everybody else here. A stand alone app is the only way forwards. An easier solution would be to acquire Ente - there app is superb!

   Isn't it fairly clear by now what the ideal solution is? Buy ente and re-brand it Proton Photos.

   I requested this 2 years ago. Good to see it is finally planned. However, like almost all other comments, we need an ETA and an idea of features to expect. Your main competitor, Skiff, are already blasting through the feature request list and a Skiff Photos app is on the agenda. I'm committed to Proton for now but also using Skiff to see how they compare. Excited to see your take on Photos support.

   Hopefully ‘Planned’ becomes ‘In Progress’ a lot quicker than the usual Proton velocity. A Photos product is critical to all of us who value our privacy
