Support Accrescent store
I know many people here seem to want Proton to also publish on F-Droid, but F-Droid (as was also pointed out here) has some serious problems (see https://privsec.dev/posts/android/f-droid-security-issues/).
To make both the people - like me - wanting to have access to Proton Apps not just via Play Store or GitHub happy, but also to keep high security standards, Accrescent would be an awesome solution.
It is a secure and private app store that doesn't need Google Play Services and aims to be developer-friendly.

Dear Proton,
Even the Accrescent store is pretty new it would mean a lot if proton supported it by putting your apps in the store and maybe sending them some dollars. Its the first real secure alternative we have had to the play store and is promoted by graphene os which you support. You provide alternative for google but make us get them via google.....just doesn't make sense. Should also offer via github releases for all apps and support unified push for notifications as an option. That way we can actually get rid of google if we use graphene os

While I agree, I don't think Accrescent is in the position to take more apps right now, until they get more support. Many of us use Obtainium to retrieve apps. That would work under the following two conditions. First, publication were consistent. As it stands, some only appear on protonapps.com (Calendar, Drive, Wallet), some only on google play (Authenticator, Lumo), some both on protonapps and on f-droid (VPN, Pass), some on protonapps and github (Mail, VPN).
Second, Proton would either:
(1) include the version number on the protonapps page, so we can identify when the app needs to be updated. Automated or no, right now we can't tell. It would work just as well if the version number were included in the .apk URL. Note this request:

More Important: The Future of Accrescent

For that reason Accrescent does not accept new apps at the moment.

Proton should work to get their apps listed on the Accrescent app store. Accrescent is a private and secure Android app store built with modern features in mind. It aims to provide a developer-friendly platform and pleasant user experience while enforcing modern security and privacy practices and offering robust validity guarantees for installed apps.

As of now, the number of apps has increased to 29, including some notable names like Cryptomator, IVPN, and Organic Maps. So, adding your apps here could also be a great way to show that Proton is a forerunner in private and secure app distribution.

Accrecent is novel Android app store focused on security, privacy, and usability. It is a trusted and a safe source to download apps in GrapheneOS too.
Proton users on Android would have a safer way (from a security point of view) to install proton producs other than downloading them from F-Droid, apk or GitHub, as well as an alternative to the Play Store, because it is secure but it does not respect privacy.

I also think the whole Proton suite should be available on Accrescent, especially when Proton Mail stops relying on Google Play Services for push notifications.

It's also mirrored by GrapheneOS, arguably the most private and secure android/mobile OS, and was repeatedly recommended by them:

Have you considered or are you planning on adding the Proton apps to the Accrescent (app store focused on security, privacy, and usability)
Accrescent is a private and secure Android app store built with modern features in mind.
It was just endorsed by GrapheneOS (considered by many to be the most private and secure mobile operating). GrapheneOS also now has accrescent in their app store.
Right now there is only 9 apps on it. So any new apps added get great installation opportunities from the privacy and security minded community.
Anyway, I really love and use all the Proton apps, and would love to see it on Accrescent because it's so easy to install and update apps compared with f-droid, plus much more secure!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm a security and privacy conscious individual, not associated with Accrescent or GrapheneOS (though I use them both).
