Change "All Settings" to "All Settings / Dashboard"
Many directions say to "got to the Dashboard." However, there is no field / button to select that says "Dashboard." This can make things difficult for new users (like me).
Please change "All Settings" to "All Settings / Dashboard."

Request for Free IMAP/POP3 Access
I understand that IMAP/POP3 is currently gated behind paid plans. As a committed advocate for privacy, I kindly request that you unlock basic IMAP and POP3 access for all free accounts, even if subject to reasonable limits (e.g., sync frequency, folder count).
This change will:
Enable users with financial constraints to adopt Proton Mail.
Strengthen Proton’s position as the go-to privacy provider by removing a major blocker to migration.
I am eager to beta-test and provide feedback on this functionality or any of the above proposals.
Thank you for considering these suggestions. I remain a loyal Proton user and look…

Silent calendar notifications
Proton Calendar notifications are useless. No sounds. No haptics. It's way too easy to miss important events. Don't bother. Use Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, ANYTHING but Proton Calendar.

Title
Use Proton Custom Items as an encrypted bookmark managerCategory
Feature requestDescription
Proton already provides Proton Custom Items, a zero‑access‑encrypted database that lets users define arbitrary fields, filter, sort, and share rows. By creating a simple schema (Title, URL, Tags, Notes, Added Date, Last Visited) users can build a fully searchable, encrypted bookmark collection that syncs across web, iOS, Android, and desktop.
Why this works today
All data is encrypted end‑to‑end, matching Proton’s privacy guarantees.
Structured fields enable fast lookup (e.g., “show me all bookmarks tagged privacy added last month”).
Lumo can be used to add, retrieve, or query bookmarks via natural‑language prompts.

Proton Pass: Bad credentials autofill
Proton Pass often fails to present relevant login entry results when selecting credentials to populate individual login form fields.
Specifically, Proton Pass search results fails to include entries that were accessed moments ago.
For example, the current browser page should automatically trigger corresponding login entries for that domain. But they often don't. So you have to manually search for the right login entry. This happens with mobile browsers.
For example, you can select a login item for the username field. But then the login entry fails to appear in the recent list when populating the password field.
There's a very…

Add the open models by OpenAI to Lumo
OpenAI's new open models seem to be significantly better than the current models offered by Lumo. By integrating these new models I believe Lumo can become even more useful.

Add event title in the email subject or notification preview instead of generic subject
I miss the option to directly see the event topic/title in the email subject or notification preview. Today, we only see a generic text and have to open the notification email or the calendar to see what this event is related to. I do not need the detailed information. However, the event title would be extremely helpful in an overbooked calendar.

Action Needed: Strengthening Technical and Legal Resilience in Europe
Please take seriously the escalating legal and technical pressures coming from major European sports‑broadcasting interests. You may soon face domain and IP‑level blocking in Spain, and it would be wise to prepare both technically and legally to protect your mission and your users. These organizations have substantial financial resources, strong relationships with large ISPs that distribute their content, and a history of securing favorable judicial decisions. Their actions should not be underestimated.

Mail: Read status corruption
Proton Mail very often screws up the read status.
When I navigate from an email back to my inbox, then the status remains unread.
Happens worst with the Proton Mail iOS/iPadOS mobile apps.
This bug has existed for years.
The Proton platform manages to be even buggier than Google and I wouldn't recommend Proton to my friends or family.

Customizable animated avatar for Lumo
Hey Lumo team,
I love the animated Lumo avatar, but it would be awesome to let users customize it. A few ideas:
- Theme picker – dark, neon, minimalist, etc . & Upload your own short GIF/PNG (with an optional “animation off” toggle for low‑bandwidth mode).
- Live preview before saving, so we can see how it looks in‑chat.
Having a personal avatar would make the experience feel more “me” and keep the vibe fresh. Thanks for considering!

Reply window
it would help if the window that opens when one wants to reply to an email was not covering the email thread and the given email that one tries to reply to.

Proton Authenticator copy next code
Currently when pressing/clicking an account, the current totp code is being copied to the clipboard (regardless of where you click).
It would be great if it was possible to copy the next totp code to the clipboard when pressing/clicking the next code (and for the current one, click that one in stead). It'll make it easier when you have to switch between apps and the timer has almost counted down to 0.

Separate PIN for Proton Authenticator for iOS
Currently, you can only log in to Proton Authenticator with your mobile phone PIN. To increase user security, I would welcome the option of choosing a separate PIN, as is the case with Proton Pass.

Proton Authenticator Android App Lock and TOTP Visualization
1.Currently, In Android, Proton Authenticator can only be locked using Biometrics. It would be awesome if it could also be locked with PIN, like Proton Pass.
2. The option to hide TOTP codes works as intended. However, it's useful only when copying and pasting codes by tapping. If I need to read a code for a specific entry to then write on my PC, it won't be useful. Adding a way to reveal a code for a specific entry on tap, would make it better!7 votes -
Application Logging
Make application logging in all applications an option to enable or disable. Always having the application generating logs not only makes the application somewhat insecure, but it also generates a lot of application bloat and overhead. This would allow the applications to aways run a peak performance and not slow the applications down at launch or other areas of the application.
I especially see this being beneficial in the VPN app, over time the application become slow and somewhat unresponsive. Uninstalling the app, inproves the startup perfromance and over all performance of the application.
If a support case is needed,…

app lock
This is primarily focused on the desktop version of the application. On my iOS device, I can already require Face ID, but I’d love to see enhancements to the App Lock feature in Proton Mail and Authenticator. Specifically, adding the option to use biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) or a passcode would provide an extra layer of security and convenience. This would give users greater flexibility in protecting access to their 2FA codes while also aligning with best practices for securing sensitive applications.

Bad Proton Mail UX
Proton Mail has multiple glitches that significantly reduce the practical utility of this email service.
- After years, Proton refuses to persist the Unread filter across inbox refreshes, new Web browser tabs, and application relaunches. Gmail does NOT have this unnecessary UX problem. My first experience opening Proton Mail immediately upsets me, every time.
- Sending emails often takes many, many seconds to complete, compared to other email services. Sending emails with Proton Mail feels sluggish.
- After several months of using Proton Mail, I discovered that dozens of my emails hadn't actuall been sent, they had all been stuck as drafts. This…

Full API-Support
Proton is promoted as THE European, privacy-friendly alternative to the major US cloud providers. Unfortunately, many important features are missing. In addition, many desktop applications vary depending on the operating system or are not available at all (Proton Drive for Linux). Proton itself refers to the necessary support from the community.
In order for genuine community engagement to be possible at all, Proton should completely open, document, version, and maintain the compatibility of all existing APIs. Then it would finally be possible to establish open source tooling (SDKs, utilities, e.g., for migration tasks, etc.) around Proton.
This would also make…

A privacy-first fundraiser needs a privacy-proof checkout (Proton Wallet / no KYC)
I want to support Proton via the 2025 Lifetime Fundraiser raffle, but the current “crypto” checkout can require BitPay KYC (name, address, ID). That’s fundamentally incompatible with a privacy-first fundraiser: it requires supporters to hand sensitive identity documents to a third-party processor just to buy a raffle ticket.
Please add a privacy-proof crypto checkout with a direct “Pay with Proton Wallet” option: generate a unique Bitcoin address/QR per order, confirm the on-chain payment, then issue the raffle ticket automatically.
