  1. Standard Notes should confirm email change

    The standard practice for changing emails is to send a confirmation link before changing to ensure access and ownership of the new email. Currently, it let's you change it and sends out a notification email to your current (prior to changing) email address that it has already been changed with the new email address in the body.

    The process should be:
    1. Change email in account settings
    2. System sends emails – 1: confirmation link to new address, 2?: current email notifying of change request
    3. Click verification link in email sent to the new email address
    4. System changes…

  2. Support HTTP/3 QUIC on Proton web servers

    Actually Proton supports HTTP/2 but not yet HTTP/3. This technology improves mobile performance without reducing the security.

  3. add proton scribe writing assistant to proton unlimited

    being single its only me i have no need for proton duo , however id like the proton scribe writing assistant as i do a fair bit of writing, is there a way to offer it as a add on to the single user proton unlimited plan

  6. Ability to choose which services have Beta enabled

    Currently joining the beta program is a single toggle. You enter beta for all services: Email, Calendar, Wallet...

    I would absolutely love to contribute and join the Beta for most services. However, for the Proton Wallet I absolutely do not want to use beta version.

    I feel like it would be better if I could select which services may use the Beta version, instead of enabling it to every single service.

    Pouvoir séparer, en la faisant glisser, la fenêtre de rédaction du reste de l'application Proton sur un ordinateur de bureau, afin de pouvoir facilement consulter d'autres messages indépendamment du message en train d'être rédigé (cf.   10. Extra domains for Duo and Family accounts

    I would like to see more domains for Duo and Family accounts. I have a domain for both my real and internet alias as does my spouse. This creates a total of 4. The limit of 3 domains for Duo and Family we would not be able to bring all of our existing email addresses to Proton without getting a business account or an awkward simple logon setup.

  11. STOP prompting to enable photo backup

    I find it infuriating that Proton Drive insists on resetting the view to essentially an advertisement to soak up drive space and have to pay for a higher data tier, at every single app launch.

    Instead of that, you could be more helpful and default to the normal Files view.

  12. Proton educational

    Currently some governments are using services provided by Google for education. As an examples,Catalonia, public universities or most of primary / secondary schools are using google as mail, drive, etc.

    With current Proton infrastructure, would be great, to provide to those governaments some special price / conditions to use proton infrastructure as default, so introducing the cybersecurity concepts for our kids and students since the begging, preventing that first they get familiar with platforms like Google, instead having proper mindset from the scratch.

  14. Asking for the password one time and make it open all the proton ultimate

    I frequently encounter situations where I have to enter a password for a web application that should be open. In my experience with Mac, any application can unlock using either a password or a fingerprint/face ID for the password manager, particularly with the Chrome extension. When it becomes necessary to use Ben for security, it often makes me consider switching back to Google Passwords.

  15. Search operators/dorks in Mailbox

    I did check and see if this was suggested prior, but it does not seem so. People suggest more filters, but not specifically dorks or search operators like you would use on a normal search engine.

    For example, say you would want to search for emails from GOG, and you want to delete them, but you want to keep the newsletters. You might want to search "GOG -news" and this would remove all results that have "news", ideally removing all of the newsletters from the results.

  16. Proton drive should remove "my computer" feature on PC and have a single default sync folder like MEGA.

    When I use mega, I can upload my document on my mobile phone and it immediately gets downloaded on my PC mega folder. Vise versa.

    Proton drive should do the same.

    The "My computer" folder sync feature on PC is completely useless. Your ios app don't even have the "my computer" folder. It means I cannot access information on my mobile when I upload documents on my PC. You should make a default cloud drive folder like MEGA. Let users drag their documents to that folder, auto sync, and it should be available on all platforms. More user friendly.

  17. Don't forward Gmail spam to Proton Inbox

    When Proton Mail connects with Gmail, it sends Gmail spam to the Proton Inbox. This carries phishing security risks.

    Junk mail should route to the Proton spam folder. Or just skip importing it at all.

    There are many suggestions on a topic. Each suggestion has its own votes.
    In such cases, can you combine the suggestions and votes?

    This way, the votes are combined in one suggestion and thus gain more importance.

  20. Make the reply window movable.

    When I reply to an email, the compose window is stuck to the bottom. I can either maximize it to full window, or minimize it. But it is still stuck. I would like to be able to move it to my other monitor, or even just move it out of the way to re-read the email I am responding to while I am typing my response. It is always in the way, and I have to keep minimizing it to read the email, then enlarging it to type more response. I want to be able to move it around with…
