2. realise Proton isn't an "island"

   Right now, Proton has good-enough email and calendar tools, but assumes everyone lives in an isolated world.
   How many of us have existing Exchange/O365, GSuite etc and need to be able to see things like all our calendars as a single view of the day.
   Right now I can't switch to Proton Calendar because I can't see what's in my work calendar alongside my family calendar, and I need to deal with two mail clients etc.
   Even having someone send me a Google or Outlook calendar invite doesn't work particularly well, - in the Android app, I can see the invite in mail, but can't accept unless I go to the calendar, search for the event, and accept it (iPad and macOS app at least give me accept option), but then I can't see it in my Android or iOS calendar widgets.
   If the original meeting is then cancelled, I just get a blank message.

   the whole point of a connected internet is stuff should work together. I'm not saying it's easy, but with a renewal coming up and lots of rough edges in mail, calendar, and pass are really making me wonder if the price tag is worth it

3. Your company needs diversity.

   I was looking through your About Me and Team pages and noticed how lacking of racial diversity Proton is. I understand this is a Switzerland-based company, but diversity is an essential factor for me as I search for a replacement to my Google products. Please hire more black and brown employees to represent the beautiful human diversity on this planet.

5. add to account page --- list of purchased Proton features and subscription date

   Request that Protn add to our personal account page - what our subscription consists of; a LIST of subscription puchased features AND the experation date of said purchase.

   Right now I know I have Proton mail (that is normally free) I'm unsure what else at what level of additional features you've provided. I know I have Proton VPN but again I'm not sure what is provided at my subscription level.

   You want patriotism to your brand then let us know what we have pruchased.

   We do not even get an email receipt of our RE-subscription [that should list out what we purchased].

6. You’ll then be signed-out of all your apps and devices that use the same Proton Account.

   Please make this more explicit and include this phrase in all the places it is applicable, e.g. prompts while changing password, and instruction pages for changing or resetting your password. The current language and instructions do not make this clear. This should be included on the instruction pages and in the prompts of each of the apps: Proton Calendar, Proton Drive, Proton Mail, Proton Pass, Proton VPN, Proton Wallet, and any future Proton apps. I should have seen this while changing my Proton Mail password but only see the phrase in this instruction page for Proton Pass (https://proton.me/support/pass-extra-password).

   Asking for improvements to the existing "Session management" under
   "Security and privacy"
   1. Capitalize the Second word: "Session management" -> "Session Management"
   2. Sort by type: rather than by date
   a. Mail, Calendar, Drive, VPN, Pass
   b. web, Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux, Android, iOS
   c. Also by date: Ascending and Descending like when sorting emails
   3. Give names to each session: Mullvad VPN does this well
   The Problem: In "Session management" each entry does not clearly
   
   correspond to a session due to only the "App" and "Date" being
   listed. This becomes a problem when there are many sessions.
   The Solution: Give names corresponding to each session so that
   users can confirm and differentiate each session.

8. Delete emails when using forwarding from Gmail

   Allow Proton mail to delete emails in Gmail in addition to just forwarding. Hopefully this isn't something google is preventing. It is available when forwarding Gmail to other providers.

9. Archive/Delete buttons active quicker on email click

   When I click on an email, I sometimes want to be able to use keyboard shortcuts for Archive/Delete immediately. I often click on the email only to realise before it's loaded that I just want to delete it.

   Keyboard shortcuts take a second or two to be usable currently so I have to wait a little before being able to use them. Or they work immediately but keep the message open, and simply say they've been Archived.

    Easier and faster login to different Proton accounts with an ONLY one click, as well as an expansion that notifies you of different Proton Mail accounts where you can see messages in a preview from each of your Proton Mail addresses with a simple click, something like what Checker Plus does for Gmail by Jason Savard

11. Separate sent folder for SMTP Mails

    I'm using SMTP Tokens for my Servers and domains. When a mail was sent via the SMTP token, the mails end up in my send folder, it really is a little annoying when my personal mails and SMTP mails are mixed up in the same folder.
    Is it possible to have a separate folder only for SMTP Mails?

12. Asking for the password one time and make it open all the proton ultimate

    I frequently encounter situations where I have to enter a password for a web application that should be open. In my experience with Mac, any application can unlock using either a password or a fingerprint/face ID for the password manager, particularly with the Chrome extension. When it becomes necessary to use Ben for security, it often makes me consider switching back to Google Passwords.

13. What is the correct sequence to log into the Proton apps?

    I use Proton Mail, Pass, Cloud and VPN. My login requriements are slightly different depending on which Proton app I chose to log in first. Is there a recomment sequence for opening your Proton account?

    What I find

    Method A
    1. Select Proton VPN from Taskbar than Quick Connect
    2. Select Proton Pass and it opens without entering a passphrase.
    3. Select Proton Mail from Proton Pass, site opens, credentials automatically loaded.
    4. Select Proton Mail from the list of available Proton apps, mail opens, and Proton clover leaf reveals all Proton apps.

    From here if I choose to open Pass, I am asked for credentials, and they are automatically entered after I confirm the email address.
    Method B
    1. Select Proton Mail from my Taskbar, it opens and the Proton clover leaf displays only the mail apps.
    On the left side of the screen, I can select other Proton apps and find the VPN app is active.
    2. At this point to get to Proton Pass, I must open a browser and enter my credential username and passphrase.
    Method C , My Practice
    1. Open Proton VPN from my task bar and Quick Connect.
    2. Open a browser and select the Proton icon, it opens Proton Pass where I select my Proton Mail App
    3. On the subsequent screen, I selected the Proton Mail app again and now my Proton clover leaf has all the Proton Apps I use.
    From here if I select Proton Pass, I am asked for my credentials – I confirm my mail address, and the passphrase is automatically authenticated.

14. Proton drive should remove "my computer" feature on PC and have a single default sync folder like MEGA.

    When I use mega, I can upload my document on my mobile phone and it immediately gets downloaded on my PC mega folder. Vise versa.

    Proton drive should do the same.

    The "My computer" folder sync feature on PC is completely useless. Your ios app don't even have the "my computer" folder. It means I cannot access information on my mobile when I upload documents on my PC. You should make a default cloud drive folder like MEGA. Let users drag their documents to that folder, auto sync, and it should be available on all platforms. More user friendly.

15. Local writing assistant option to use local Ollama server, when available

    The built in writing assistant (offline version) is a little … stupid … to say the least. It seems to completely disregard the input language as well, opting to rewrite the entire thing in English.

    I wanted to propose that you leave the feature set as is for people who aren't setup with alternatives, but add another option so that we can use our own Ollama server within our network, if available.

    I run a variety of llama models locally anyways, so might as well use that (and the http API it provides), opposed to having yet another assistant bundled within proton mail).

    It would also give me a little more trust in the privacy and control of things.

16. Unify/obfuscate account login error message.

    Upon trying to log in to a Proton account, make sure to obfuscate incorrect login information. Currently, trying a correct email address and an incorrect password outputs the following error message.
     
    "The password is not correct. Please try again with a different password."

    But instead it should be, no matter what instances:

    "The and account or password is not correct."

    Helps to obfuscate an existing Proton account holder. Showing either the account or password is not correct if login attemp fails.

17. Move recently deleted hide my email aliases to a Trash bin

    Hide my email aliases can be sent to one or more mailboxes in Proton Pass.

    When the email alias or mailbox is deleted, the hide my email alias can also be deleted. This can be immediate and permanent. No recovery.

    Please direct the deleted aliases to a Trash bin in the same way deleted emails are moved to Trash for a short time.

    This allows users to recover from accidentally deleted aliases. It also provides consistency between products.
