  1. A La Carte Bundling

The option to select which products you’d like to bundle.

Example, I’m only interested in Mail, VPN, & Pass and if this was a bundled option for unlimited I’d signup. Others might want something different.

  2. Error too many aliases created recently

    Hi,

I am a Proton Unlimited subscriber.

I am trying to go through all my Internet accounts and assign a unique email address alias to each one.

However, after creating only a handful of aliases, Proton complains of too many aliases.

As a paying customer, I find this minuscule rate limit unproductive.

  3. Separate sent folder for SMTP Mails

I'm using SMTP Tokens for my Servers and domains. When a mail was sent via the SMTP token, the mails end up in my send folder, it really is a little annoying when my personal mails and SMTP mails are mixed up in the same folder.
Is it possible to have a separate folder only for SMTP Mails?

  5. No way to reject individual events in calendar series

When I go to decline a specific meeting within a recurring series in Proton Calendar for iOS, then instead of just declining that meeting, or prompting whether I'd like to decline that meeting vs the entire series, Proton Calendar only shows a prompt to "Update" (cancel entire series) or "Cancel" the decline action.

  6. 2FA using phone number

Double authentication (2FA) using phone number. Proton pass allows you to save authentication codes, but it's risky if you get disconnected. You have to find a solution for customers who trust you and who all have their account with you... At this point, either you take the risk of being logged out and permanently losing access to your account, or you disable dual authentication, which would make your account more vulnerable, or you have to download a dual authentication app just to log in proton.... It's a bit ridiculous

  7. SPACE between Folders and Labels

    Typing from Proton plus-paid account.

PLEASE reduce the space (gap, interstice, slot, or however you name it) between the folders.

The significant amount of space between the folders is causing inconvenience. It's almost as if an entire folder could fit in this gap. This inefficiency makes it cumbersome and almost confusing to navigate through the folders, especially when one has to scroll extensively to find the right one.

It would be great to see some upgrades for this feature in a very near future.

BTW: I do not believe that actually PM support takes those suggestions serious. Any feedback from…

  9. Add UserVoice link in all GitHub repositories for easy finding

Just a minor improvement by adding the UserVoice.com URL to the description of repos in GitHub along with an appropriate message to lead users to this platform. Some users will find the Proton GitHub, but not know about the UserVoice, and end up adding email support requests instead, particularly since "Issues" GitHub page isn't public or doesn't exist. This is an easy semi-fix for support requests overload.

  10. realise Proton isn't an "island"

Right now, Proton has good-enough email and calendar tools, but assumes everyone lives in an isolated world.
How many of us have existing Exchange/O365, GSuite etc and need to be able to see things like all our calendars as a single view of the day.
Right now I can't switch to Proton Calendar because I can't see what's in my work calendar alongside my family calendar, and I need to deal with two mail clients etc.
Even having someone send me a Google or Outlook calendar invite doesn't work particularly well, - in the Android app, I can see the…

  11. Local writing assistant option to use local Ollama server, when available

The built in writing assistant (offline version) is a little … stupid … to say the least. It seems to completely disregard the input language as well, opting to rewrite the entire thing in English.

I wanted to propose that you leave the feature set as is for people who aren't setup with alternatives, but add another option so that we can use our own Ollama server within our network, if available.

I run a variety of llama models locally anyways, so might as well use that (and the http API it provides), opposed to having yet another assistant bundled…

  14. Make it cheaper to buy it for longer. 2 years is more expensive than 1 year. That should not be.

I went to sign up for Proton Mail. But I get worried. Sure, its 1.99 per month for a year, but then it goes to $4.99. How much will it be in 2026, or 2030? $800 a month? Then, I would be in a pickle. I would rather pay for a lifetime and never worry about how much it costs ever again. Too many other companies, such as Satellite TV offerred cheap deals for a year, then jacked up the prices to higher than I can afford, and Im skeptical you wont do the same.

  15. Higher contrast font *color* choices

Higher contrast font colors are needed.

The use of a pale grey on off white is not very readable. Reading is particularly difficult in the Proton Mail "app."

  16. Access to account only with hardware key

    Dear forum members / developers!

I do not speak English. I wrote with a translator. Sorry for the mistakes.
I would like to request a change to a function!

The problem is that an authentication application must be activated before I can use the hardware key for the account!

I would like to request that the account can only be accessed with a hardware key. Account recovery can only be done with a hardware key.

  17. Proton Mail: Option to auto expand entire conversation

I find it slow to navigate between individual emails within a larger conversation chain.

Please provide an option to automatically expand the full conversation, like Gmail and Outlook do. I have RSI so I don't gain anything from unnecessary clicks.

  20. Quickly add open email to an existing filter

It would be useful to add properties of an open email (such as sender, subject, etc) to an existing filter without having to go into settings. This is so that it makes it less tedious to edit filters with any forgotten criteria.
