1. Open up Lumo

   I am not a hater of AI, but the handling of Lumos launch is disastrous to say the least.

   Never ever release a product, call it open and then have no code and no information available about it. Basing something upon something open doesn't make it open itself. Saying so is literally lying and is eroding trust.

   Neither do we know, what models Lumo uses, nor do we have access to any part of its code right now. It's a giant blackbox.

   Please open up the code and training weights, adhering to the OSI definition of open AI.
   Ideally make it available for running locally.

   I'm in favor of the vision you outlined in your launch blog post, but your actions seem to speak another language.

9. Proton Sheets - Bringing in data from another sheet

   For some complex spreadsheet projects, it's not uncommon for sheets to pull data in from either another worksheet in the same workbook or another worksheet from another workbook. In Google Sheets, this would be accomplished with the IMPORTRANGE() formula. This would be helpful for things like reducing workbook complexity, isolating concerns, gating collaborator access, and abstracting sensitive information.

   So basically, an IMPORTRANGE() equivalent for Proton Sheets. Thanks for your time!

11. Enable Yubikey as a passwordless PassKey for logins

    I've been asking to turn on Security Key Passkeys for a few years now, I've got no idea what this sentinel stuff is about but its totally uneccessary. Passkeys using my Yubikey makes session cookies redundant let alone passwords. More platforms are moving over to it where I login using my Yubikey. Ironically this feedback form required a random password created when it didnt popup to save it in the browser. the point of Passkeys it makes passwords redundant.

    I CAN'T move my domain email from Google until I get Passkey with Yubikey support. Therefore stuck on free email. It's not worth me paying for it yet until I get that feature like I've had with my Google accounts for years.

12. Integration with writing tablets

    Privacy concerned users, such as journalists, would benefit from Proton Drive integration in emerging writing tablet devices.

    Would love Proton to collaborate note and book annotation sync features with Amazon, Boox, Kobo, reMarkable, and other prominent writing tablet manufacturers. Too many of these devices vendor lock notes inside proprietary, non-endtoend encrypted services, with only manual export options.

14. Feature Suggestion: Automated Personal Data Removal

    I greatly value Proton’s commitment to protecting user privacy through your suite of encrypted services. However, I see an opportunity to enhance the user experience and strengthen Proton’s value proposition even further.

    Currently, users who want to remove their personal information from the internet must manually contact data brokers, websites, and search engines ... a time-consuming and ongoing task. I suggest Proton develop a Personal Information Removal System that would:

    1. Scan and Identify: Automatically detect where a user’s personal data is publicly available or held by data brokers.
    2. Automate Removal Requests: Send verified opt-outs or deletion requests on behalf of users.
    3. Monitor Continuously: Notify users if data reappears and manage ongoing suppression.
    4. Integrate with Proton Services: Seamlessly complement existing Proton tools like VPN, Mail, and Drive.

    This feature would transform Proton from a data protector into an active defender of online identity, giving users a complete privacy solution while differentiating Proton from competitors. It would also increase trust, user engagement, and potential premium subscriptions.

    Alphabet (Google) has abandonned their CO2e-neutrality pledge and schedule, because of the energy cost of AI.

    Now is the time to shine for Proton, by taking the vacant place that is offered!!

    It would be extremely popular, especially in Europe, and would push a lot of climate-conscious people from other service providers towards Proton.

    Making Proton's apps available on the app stores that Linux users use will make it easier and safer for users to find and download Proton apps and eliminate the risk of visiting sketchy websites to download the official Proton apps.     It would be super helpful if proton pass (through anywhere where you can autofill with proton pass) could autofill email 2FA codes sent to your associated proton mail inbox, and then delete or archive the email after you’ve autofilled the code. Maybe it could autofill only the most recent email 2FA code, and only for 10 minutes after it has arrived, and then it only prompts you to autofill that code one time. It would identify and differentiate the code box the same way as it identifies and differentiates a password box from a username box from a email address box (etc).

19. Provide a roadmap and show status of popular suggestions

    Is there a roadmap for what's on the horizon for Proton product offerings and features to existing products? My general impression is (and it may be wrong) that Proton is not responsive to user suggestions in a timely fashion and hence the same suggestions get suggested for years with no insight provided as to the status of those. E.g., if a To Do app is known to not be offered by Proton in the next year, just say so and then users can stop wishing for that and move on.

20. Ability to share files/folders with non-proton users by sharing a link and password instead of having to create an account

    Absolutely need the ability to share a link to a file or folder on Proton Drive with a non-proton user without them having to create an account at all, e.g. proton user could simply share a password with the recipient and they could then access the file or folder via a link with that password.

    The fact recipients have to create an account makes them opt out and request the use of unsecured channels for file sharing. This is NOT the way. Please add this ability to remove this important element of friction that’s preventing users from using proton services with non-users who aren’t ready yet to move away from less secure services. Thank you
