1. Allow customization of search result display. Example: [title] ([vault_name])

   Current search results shows on each line:

   [categoryicon] [vaulticon] [title]

   It would be lovely if there were a feature that would allow users to customize the search result display using a simple bracket syntax using pre-defined allowable variables. For example, I would like my search results to display as:

   [vaultname]: [categoryicon] [title]
   or:
   [categoryicon] [title][NEWLINE][vaulticon] [vaultname] ([lastedited])
   or:
   [categoryicon] [title,50] ([vaultname])... where ",50" indicates truncate to 50 characters.

   I could explain my use case... but invariably users will want customization options. Using bracket syntax, or a drag and drop interface to select available variables, would add a lot of flexibility and works very well in my experience. It would be important for customizations to be platform specific as mobile UI is more constrained than desktop UI.

   A simple implementation would look something like:
   1) Identify which existing variables Proton would like to allow in search results.
   2) Identify which formatting mechanisms Proton would like to allow. Ex. newline, truncate, etc...
   3) Publish syntax and list of variables+formatting options to a website. This could be an advanced feature
   4) Add "Advanced > Customize Search Result Display Format"
   4.1) Show a text input (or text area) with a "Verify Syntax" button
   4.2) Clicking "Verify Syntax" would use regex to locate all suspected-variables found between brackets, loop through the list, and ensure validity. For example, [title] would pass whereas [thisisnotavalidpredefinedvariable] would fail.
   5) When search results are displayed use the user-defined format instead of the default one. Simple regex + replace.

   Implementing this way is much more flexible than the existing hardcoded way. It should allow users to customize to fit their specific device (phone, tablet, desktop). If you add new features in the future, for example a tagging mechanism, it is easy to add a new allowable variable [tags]. Note that documentation would need to be version specific as [tags] might be an allowable variable in v2.3.0 but not v2.2.0.

   Implementing this would close a number of exiting open feature requests and likely reduce the number of future search result feature requests to a minimum.

2. Organization for Pass Contents

   Organization is rather important, especially with the sheer amount that one can often have.
   Being able to organize at will would likely be a worthwhile feature.

   For example, if you want to put "x" above "y" vault, you simply cannot. The order is defined by when it was created, not by the user.
   This would tie in nicely to the possible feature of sub-folders & the like, currently listed as "under review".
   A sub-folder system, if implemented, would drastically benefit as well from this ability to re-ordered at will.

   Which, the "alphabetical" sorting within Vaults does respect numerical assignments, but placing a number followed by a parathesis with every single named item is time consuming, bulky, and not easily fixable if you decide to move something above to below or above a respective piece of content within the Pass.

   I believe the ability to reorder existing and future organization features with a smooth and easily changeable design, (like drag/drop) would greatly benefit those of us who are a bit crazy for organizing, or those who wish to re-order vaults, to those who want to make an ordered list from most-to-least important within vaults, and slot nicely with future or already being-considered updates.

3. Enable Full-Screen Email Display in Landscape Mode (mobile app)

   When viewing an item in Proton Pass, rotating the phone to landscape mode should allow the account’s email address (or alias) to expand to full screen. This would make it much easier to show the email physically in stores or services that need to read it from the device.
   Right now the email remains truncated or limited by the standard layout, which makes it inconvenient to display clearly. A dedicated full-width view in landscape would solve this and improve usability in real-world situations.

4. Vault security

   Why can't I set a pin on certain vaults as an extra layer of security? I keep all my financial apps in Samsung's secure folder behind a 10 digit pin. I was hoping to only have one instance of Proton Pass on the phone and keep it in the secure folder too, but it won't autofill outside the secure folder. I've dumped all my thousands of passwords from Google into PP and am slowly working my way through deleting them and ensuring the rest are correct. However, because PP syncs across all instances all my vaults show up outside the secured folder. I wanted to use a fingerprint for the general passwords but keep the important stuff behind a stronger pin so I don't have to enter it for the hundreds of jobs sites I go to daily. Fingerprint is fine for that stuff.

   Please add a way to bifurcate password priority and assign different levels of access control by vault. Unless I'm missing something.

5. More Details and Reasons for Weak or Vulnerable Password

   In Proton Pass, clicking on any of the Login Items, it shows the security level of the password. Very often it mark my existing passwords as "Weak" or "Vulnerable". ***But, it is IMPORTANT to let users know the REASON for that!!!

   Like Apple iCloud Passwords, it tells you why that specific password is graded as weak. Maybe because it is reused too frequently? Leaked in other databases? Or simply the combination of letters and numbers is not secure? Too short? Too simple? But Proton Pass DOES NOT tells you why!

   What I mean is, there are a lot of reasons for the password to be classed as weak or vulnerable, and sometimes it just feel strange to me why that password is weak. For example, a password generated by Apple iCloud Password like Detdip-baqnyh-tedpa3 is graded as weak (It is considered safe in Apple).

   Current Feature Affected:
   - In Valuts > Login Item - Currently it only shows the security level label (WITHOUT any explanation)
   - In Pass Monitor - Currently it only classify into weak or reused passwords, and the explanation in each item is simply saying it is weak (so this is actually not a valid explanation or elaboration of the reason why it is weak)

   Suggestions:
   - In Vaults > Login Item - May add a paragraph to tell the reason for password grades, e.g., safe - not leaked or detected from databases; weak - less than 15 characters too short, weak - combination is too simple; vulnerable - leaked in *** incident in 20XX.
   - In Pass monitor - Add classifications and modify the explanations to provide more context of why it is being labeled as vulnerable or weak.

   Please seriously consider about this! Proton Pass, you could lag behind the competition if you miss this feature while others are having such basic stuff.

6. Concealable fields on credit card entries

   Ability to add in custom concealable fields for entries, particularly credit cards for things like app pin numbers and other security codes. This could be implemented in a similar way to how card numbers are displayed usually where they are partially obfuscated.

7. Password generator options

   I’ve been using your app for a while now and I used to be a Bitwarden user. The password generator doesn’t offer enough different options. For example, when I need to create a password consisting only of numbers, I can’t do it and have to use another password generator. This creates difficulties in terms of usability. I hope you update the password generator to support more variations.

8. More options for "Auto-lock after" and allow "Auto-lock after LAST USED"

   1) More timing options:
   Today the "Auto-lock after" has just a few options, I'd like to see a couple more other than
   - 1min
   - 2min
   - 5min
   - 10min
   - 1hr

   Maybe add a couple more and allow a bigger upper limit:

   • 30 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes. I've seen some pass managers to allow up to 4 hours.

   Or, just set an bigger upper limit and let the user give their own number between 1min and X hours (new upper limit)

   2) Add option to "Auto-lock after LAST USED"
   Example (using 1hr to Auto-lock):

   • Unlocked at 10am (set to lock at 11am)
   • Used pass manager again at 10:15am (sets to lock at 11:15am since I just used and i'd like to lock after one hour of my last use)

9. Many missing features when coming from Dashlane

   Please consider this as an all-in-one feature request about what the competition has to offer and you don't.

   I am a long-time user of Dashlane and right now I'm evaluating ProtonPass.

   ProtonPass Pros:
   Integration with SimpleLogin/Mail aliases and Proton as a parent company. Stylish UI.

   ProtonPass Cons:
   macOS AutoFill and Safari Passkeys work well in Dashlane but are absent in ProtonPass.

   TOTP auto fill works well in Dashlane, but in ProtonPass it's a buggy feature attempt. Many times it fails to show up, and when it does it's just a popup and requires you to paste (and guess that it's on the clipboard). Sometimes it puts an old number on the clipboard that doesn't work.

   Dashlane automatically includes alternative domains for known websites so you can just chill and expect it to work. For example: adding a password with microsoft.com will automatically include microsoftonline.com and live.com. ProtonPass doesn't have this feature, and often websites forward to a different but trusted login domain and you don't see auto completion.

   Dashlane integrates well with iOS keyboard suggestions. ProtonPass is still messy, and I can't understand why I enable it and it doesn't do anything (maybe it's the previous item, mismatching alternative domains).

   Biometric unlock on Chrome desktop is possible with Dashlane, so I don't need to type my password manager password to unlock it, it can be a fingerprint or Yubikey, FaceID, etc. ProtonPass doesn't support it, and it's so painful to type a password/PIN or leave it unprotected once you are not used to it anymore.
   Even when using ProtonPass with the PIN mode, and clicking the lock icon on a field, you need to click ANOTHER TIME to focus on the pin fields and then type the PIN. Seems to be a neglected area.

   The tabs on top of Dashlane UI are more useful than the multi-taps filter that ProtonPass came up with. No need for so many taps to filter categories.

   I would like to keep ProtonPass but only when it's more mature. I like their intention but the product is significantly behind.

   I would like to hear people's thoughts on how they can manage having ProtonPass as main manager. Do you really type your long and complicated password all the time or leave it unprotected?

   Please consider this as an all-in-one feature request about what the competition has to offer and you don't.

11. Please Improve Custom Forms + Password Generation

    1. Create Custom Forms.
    2. Manage Forms (add ability to add/delete forms from the list of suggested forms)
    3. give me the option when creating a form to add a password section, it seams silly that I have to generate a password separately then input it into the hidden form section in whatever custom form I'm filling. There's a lot of elements of the app that don't feel integrated, like you're trying to give a fool proof experience for noobs whilst offering a more complex set of menu's/settings for more experienced users. But you need to integrate them better, it can be done without complicating things, in fact I think it would simplify things, opening inexperienced users up to the advanced features, because at the moment it feels like 2 apps in one which is just frustrating.
    4. Password Generator needs more customisation, I should be able to create whatever password I want in whatever form I want at whatever length I want. Complete control, just numbers, just letters, just special characters, any length, from 3 digits to 128. This seems like an obvious feature and is something I'm finding I need more and more.

12. Disable hard to distinguish characters from passwords

    Currently one has the option to enable/disable the following in the password generator:
    - special characters
    - large cap letters
    - numbers

    I think it should be possible to also disable the following:
    - hard to distinguish characters such as i, l, 1, L, o, 0, O
