The lock timer with biometrics does not protect! unless it is set to Immediately - Android
If Lock Timer is set to Immediately, wallet protection works, but if 5, 15 minutes, or 1 hour of inactivity is selected from the menu, the wallet is usually not locked, even after several days or weeks of non-use, after restarting or updating Android.

Support Bitcoin Silent Payments
It would be great to see Silent Payments supported in Proton Wallet, since it would allow for Bitcoin transaction privacy in the app. This feature has already been implemented in Cake Wallet.

Add a climate-friendly blockchain
Proton Wallet has the potential to attract new people to cryptocurrencies but many are rightly put off by the high energy consumption and CO2 generation of Bitcoin. There should be at least one better alternative, for example using proof-of-stake. Also, ignoring global warming doesn't really contribute to a positive image of the Proton brand.

Add a warning when importing insecure seed phrases
I fear the Proton Wallet software appears to act too "laid back" when I import both my account's existing 12-word recovery phrase (reusing) and infamous ones like "bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon bacon" (insecure).

A typical CSV file export of all wallet information.

Customize network fee
When sending bitcoin, I can at the moment chose between 3 different fee priorities. However, I would like to be able to set that manually. Specially if my transaction has very low priority and I want to save on network fees.
This can be a hidden feature that only a power user would find, so normal users do not get confused.
Additionally I would love to see not just the absolute fee amount, but also the relative (fee rate) in sats / vbyte.

Not Just Crypto
Last time I checked, Proton Wallet was exclusively for Crypto. That's 100% useless to me. A wallet app needs to store credit/debit cards and allow for relatively simple access to these cards from a phone or watch -- Google, Apple and Samsung all provide this and as I result, I must utilize one or more of them instead of dropping them for Proton. Storing loyalty cards would be a plus, but not nearly as important as actual money cards, whether physical or virtual. If this feature is not planned to be offered, the app should be renamed to something that…

Support Litecoin
ProtonWallet should accept Litecoin, as its robust tokenomics make it a reliable and efficient option for payments. Litecoin is often regarded as the "silver to Bitcoin's gold" because it was created by Charlie Lee in 2011 as a fork of the Bitcoin Core client, aiming to address perceived limitations in Bitcoin, particularly in terms of transaction speed and cost. Like Bitcoin, Litecoin has a fixed supply, capped at 84 million coins, which helps to maintain its value over time and prevents inflation.
Litecoin operates on a similar proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism, ensuring a secure and decentralized network. However, it uses…
