This is part of the autofill improvement, which is ongoing, this was highlighted in the recent Roadmap: https://proton.me/blog/pass-roadmap-spring-summer-2026
We should have a significant enhancement via iframe coming soon.

In my eyes, a tracking function to track if the Mail was read or not, is completely against what we are here for at Proton. We chose Proton for their privacy. To add a function where the Mail could get tracked is completely against it.
However If the tracking function would be optional, like you can send it with a tracker, but the receiver can choose if to mark as read or not with a extra button or something, then it would be ok

I also would like to have SMTP without needing to upgrade to Family or needing to downgrade to Business or Mail Essentials.
I also find it really weird, why Mail Essentials have SMTP and WE Unlimited not.
If not possible to add SMTP to Unlimited, at least provide something like a extra addon where we can pay something like 3$ extra for SMTP function.

That's a really need function.
However, there is no option to set a default vault per device or browser.
Example use cases:
On my work laptop, the default vault should be “Work.”
On my personal phone, the default vault should be “Personal.”
This would greatly improve workflow and reduce errors, since I wouldn’t have to manually switch vaults every time.
Other password managers like 1Password already support this feature, and it would be very helpful to have it in Proton Pass as well.
