An error occurred while saving the comment Currently, Proton shows a general storage usage (example: "7.51 MB / 1.00 GB"), which means I know how much disk space I am using, but I have no idea how much each service uses. So, if I am running out of space, what service should I check to clean up or delete old data?
Having a total usage counter works well for an overall idea, but it's inefficient when users need additional space, so having this storage breakdown feature seems necessary to help users decide where to look.
Additional storage for a monthly cost is only a temporary solution, as it might be helpful to store more data, but it doesn't solve the real problem: what data takes "so much" disk space.
This request was initially posted as a Proton Mail feature (https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail/suggestions/42899862-storage-breakdown), but it is a feature for your account and not only the mail service.

An error occurred while saving the comment The main problem with the Proton Contacts app is not the Web interface per se but the necessity to synchronise your contacts with your iPhone/Android device, as their native apps won't keep your contacts data encrypted.
To have a smooth transition from my Google Account to Proton, having a way to sync my contacts automatically seems to be a requirement/necessity. Still, I would expect it to keep my data secure, so it also needs a way to sync with my device contacts or integrate with the Phone, SMS and (probably) messaging apps (such as WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal).

An error occurred while saving the comment This is one of the primary blockers I must keep using Google Workspace. I would love to consider a migration to Proton, but this is a missing service that some family members need.
It should have an auto-sync process so new photos are updated automatically.
Geolocation (through the metadata) and face recognition (maybe a privacy issue?) can be useful too, so I can tag people or re-visit some locations.
We use iOS devices.
It sounds like non-privacy friendly, as it’s against the privacy by default core value.
NextCloud doesn’t encrypt user’s data, so you lose Proton’s privacy here.
